Client Story: Bespoke Mental Health Awareness Workshops | University of Oxford & Siendo

Firstly, it needs to be said that the humans throughout the Mathematical Institute at the University of Oxford are genuinely some of the most open, patient, supportive and kind humans that we've had the pleasure to work with and we are consistently flawed by how utterly committed they are to prioritising the mental health of their staff and students.
Not only have they trained two groups of MHFAiders, but they've also committed to rolling out awareness training to EVERY single member of staff in student facing roles, as well as those with supervisory or line management responsibilities... across the entire institute!
Just wow!
They are committed to empowering their staff with important mental health awareness skills... giving them the tools to spot signs of distress and then know how to effectively support.
And the results so far have been incredibly exciting. I've been so impressed by how many faculty members and line managers have stepped forward and prioritised the time in their diary to learn these important skills.
And this is not a small step. Everyone across the university is so unbelievably busy, yet they genuinely care about their colleagues and their students and this is clearly evident in their commitment towards showing up, engaging and then promoting the importance of these sessions.
It's an absolute honour to be supporting you all through these conversations and you should be seriously proud - you're not just setting an incredible example for other departments across the university but you're actually leading by example and setting the bar for ALL higher education establishments across the board.

And thank you for your unwavering passion and commitment to driving forward all things mental health and wellbeing at the institute - you're the most wonderful humans to work alongside.
