Since the purpose of the Purification Chamber wasn't really fleshed out, here's a quick-ish run down, avoiding spoilers: - The goal is to purify Pokemon you're not currently using in your party, since their shadow bar thing would otherwise not go down. There are 83 shadow Pokemon in the game, you'll both want and need to use the purification chamber if you want to purify as many at a time as possible. - To use it effectively, the purified Pokemon must create a circle of super effective types. For example using the Pokemon you have, Houndour (fire) -> Seedot (grass) -> Spheal (water) - > Baltoy (ground) -> back to Houndour. Of course for this to work Seedot and Baltoy would need to be purified already, as shadow Pokemon don't contribute to the purification. - The shadow Pokemon you want to purify must also be super effective against one of the purified Pokemon in the circle, the target Pokemon being the one that has a line connected to the center shadow Pokemon. Since you're working on Numel here, you can point the Numel at either Houndour or Seedot, since ground is good against Houndour and fire is good against Seedot. Getting a perfect tempo on all 9 sets in the chamber is the only way to purify specific Pokemon, so you'll want to work on purifying as many Pokemon as you can throughout your playthrough

I promise you'll want to use the purification chamber as the series progresses, you'll get overwhelmed with the number of shadow pokemon available. It's also necessary for plot.
Damn I wish I still had mine, I had to mod my old wii to play it again lol but due to that I found a cool mode that makes the game fresh again by switching and adding alot of things.
I always had a cool idea for a third installment of these games. It's where a new mythical pokemon would be introduced that would travel with you and help purify pokemon. The reason being Mew the original mythic has been contaminated by darkness and is changing other pokemon to shadow pokemon. During your travels you would find pokemon that have further evolved to new forms due to this darkness. Gaining the dark type in their new Evo, you would find special shadow pokemon in the wild has well trainers would have them has well. You'd have the bad guys trying to capture mew to use it for there own designs and you trying to get to mew first to put a stop to it all. But I feel it would be an interesting addition to the shadow pokemon games.
Also on the topic of Monster Hunter Wilds. It's VERY likely to be dropped January/February. They've been following their World release pretty closely. So a lot of people are theorizing Jan/Feb release
hey dylan you don't have to worry about accidently killing a shadow mon Mirror B has you covered whenever you fight him he can have a shadow pokemon which you either failed or don't have yet
Making a separate comment for another spoiler-free tip. If you ever miss a shadow Pokemon, whether by knocking it out or running out of balls, don't worry too much about it. This game is much more forgiving than Colosseum and you can re-encounter every shadow Pokemon as many times as needed
Yea coliseum only gave you one retry with miror b if I’m not mistaken then it’s gone for good 😅 which sucked for folks who had a bad luck with capturing or lv grinding especially if you was young 😅
