Thanks for your informative tutorial on ithemes security. I installed it on my website but it caused my PDF files not to open properly. They show error 403 forbidden. Please I don't know how to correct this error through resetting the ithemes the plugin.
Hi, I get daily emails with database backup file for my site. if just updated my site theme and i dont like the look of it. I want to restore my site as it was before. I have my backup file, what do i do with it? Where can i upload it? thx
A heads up on iThemes Security. I updated the plug-in yesterday and now I can't login to the back end of any of my websites because they are forcing users to change passwords they consider weak. They do not give the user the option of overriding this the only option is to change the password, if I don't I can't access my websites. This is unacceptable, I am considering (once I gain access to the back end of my websites) to use some other plug-in for security.
If you’re having issues logging in. Then if you have access to your web host control panel, you can navigate to your file manager, often the root of the website will be public_html folder, then navigate to the wp-content folder, plugins folder and then locate the plugin and delete it. I demonstrate how to navigate cpanel in the video I uploaded the other day to deal with the Error establishing database connection video.
