The 981 GT4 is simply the best GT4 for what these cars are meant to be. The 982 GT4 (sorry fans of the '718' denomination) is too soft (or not raw enough...) and the 982 GT4 RS too radical. The 981 GT4 main attribute? It is a faultless car without any weak points: a rare attribute for any car make even for Porsche. The small talk of 'but it could have more of this and less of that' doesnt stick: the 981 GT4 is perfect as is. I have the carbon light weight seats and I find them amazing and way better than the standard seats: try them before buying but this may prove difficult as you will need a few hours to really try them and that may prove difficult unless you pay for it...by renting a day track car with them on...
What bums me out, is that they aren't making these anymore. They will only be producing the gt4 RS. Cool yes! But it's literally double the price lol. And when I buy a gt4 they'll be rare and " collectable". 😅 Might just opted for a 911
You can find them second hand on the market, many with low miles. I just bought a 2016 981 GT4 three weeks ago with 7500 miles. The hype is real. This is the best sports car I have ever driven.

Got 25K miles on mine. Love it.
Awesome video - love the intervals for the service - I had no idea. So Porsche dealer or Porsche Indy for this stuff?
Tire size isn’t square, 265/35 20 rear 235/35 20 front. The brake rotors aren’t 410 front, unless you’re running PCCB. Like wise rear is smaller than 380 I believe.
Awesome video

Awesome video thank you so much for all the input just bought mine this week. Should be here within the next few days.
Cool car, thanks for the vid.
No problem 👍
981 gt4 ❤
Does the 981 GT4 have same motor issues as the 991.1 GT3 (non G6 motors)?
No, it is not the same engine at all.
No, different engine. But it will have bore scoring like the regular 991.1.
These do not suffer from hire scoring, that's the old 2007 911
Great video
Good info. Thanks man. I ended up going with a 2020 718 for the more aggressive front and rear bumpers + slimmer taillights.
