Good morning, Stacey! These cookies are perfect for Christmas and will be so fun to make with my grands. I would love to see a video on making marshmallows! Have a wonderful day! 😊
Loved this Vlog. Have you tried using the asparagus to make cream of Asparagus 'Cup of Soup' mix? I dehydrated the asparagus and ground it to a powder. Recipe, 1/2 cup of Asparagus powder 1/4 cup of milk powder 2 T onion powder 2 T garlic powder 2 T salt (or to taste) 1 T white pepper. Mix well, store in air tight jar. To make your 'Cup of Soup' Put 2 T of mix in a cup. (Can add more to taste ) Add 250mls of hot boiled water. Stir to dissolve the powder. Cover and let sit 5 to 10 mins to rehydrated. Enjoy. This recipe works brilliantly with butternut pumpkin powder as well. Just swap out the asparagus powder for the pumpkin powder. So much nicer than store bought 'Cup of Soup' mix too, much cheaper too.
Just watched this video. ❤ I have made Crinkle Cookies for years. However, they are Lemon Crinkle Cookies. So delicious! Basically the same recipe except you add in 2 TBLS of lemon juice and zest of 1 lemon. We love lemon so I sometimes add extra juice or lemon extract. Also, can add in yellow food coloring. Which sometimes I do and sometimes I do not.
Oh how fun these cookies will be 🤗. My grand daughters will live to make these. I enjoyed your video of the ginger bread and your grandchildren. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks so much! 😊 They are so delicious, even the next day. I went to bed thinking of other ways to make these cookies and I have come up with a cool idea! stay tuned.
I have done NONE of my Christmas goody making as it seems I keep getting sick, and even right this moment I am feeling wretched. I can however send you my recipe, I searched a LONG time for a good recipe for marshmallows and they're relatively simple to make, just time consuming because you have to let them dry for at least 12 hours. For the chocolate coating I just melt 2 cups of chocolate chips with a tablespoon of shortening or coconut oil so the chocolate will firm back up once the marshmallows (or strawberries!) are dipped. John also has the chocolate, as well as the lemon, versions of these cookies - I like him as well. Nyquil is setting in and making me drowsy, and I need to sleep/rest anyway. When I wake up/am functioning, I will send you that recipe, as well as for caramels. Love ya Lady, it's such a comfort to see you when I am eeling so absolutely horrible.
Hi stacy do u only use plain(all purpose) flour in your recipes because u always seem to add baking powder. Here in uk we also have self raising flour which has baking powder already added please can u say which flour you use.
Oh that was so sweet Stace how your husband was joking with you but also enjoying your cookies off camera they looked delicious

hello, I just use plain flour. I don't keep SR flour as that is just another expense when I can just use the baking powder if it's needed :-)
The grinch needs sweetening anyway! A great mistake.
