I remember making my own Minecraft skins on Skindex. One feature that's completely possible in Minecraft but not offered as a feature on Skindex is translucent pixels on the second layer. I then wanted to switch to NovaSkin which has EVERY tool one could want for skin making, but that was blocked on my house's WiFi. To make my skins now, I use the image editor I got with my computer. It's a little tricky to use since you're editing the skin file in it's 2D form, but once you know how the sections are placed in the model, you can make some really cool skins. I just have to remember to turn on the transparent background, or my skin will appear in game blank white with a couple details.

Bedrock marketplace is not an advantage. You have to pay for good customization, through minecoins, and if you play on console, it is very hard to import your own very custom skin,if not impossible, so you can't truly be yourself

The code I found is at 2:06, if anyone is wondering Edit: I am not exactly sure how many letters/numbers the minecraft reddem code needs to have so I might've been wrong about the 2:06 code and is really just a UUID code
I use Aseprite to do my skins XD i love making gradiants on the skin. And for the bedrock i completly use the skinmaker that's integrated. With that the characters even blink their eyes so yeah... i almost never play on bedrock, but that's other story.
For Android, I'm using Skin Editor 3D for a year and now I'm still making more skins just like you seen on my pfp or my videos. Mostly I start create Optimus Prime Human skin in each version cause of the Legend Peter Cullen comment me and I'm a TF OP lover fan!

The launcher’s built-in Skins tab has infinite skin slots that you can easily switch between, as well as uploading skins directly to it!
