I read in an ancient forum that when you find a naturally generated pink sheep, the odds of them spawning in that chunk are way higher than the value shown in the wiki, which is an average of possible odds. With the rest of the colors is the same but those odds don't differ as badly as with the pink. No idea if true or not
I think it has to do with a “sheep horde” existing. All sheep in a horde would be the same color. It has an actual name but I forgot what it is called.

Shulkercraft there are only 2700 tropical fish variants, not 27000 btw there are 22 named varieties of tropical fish that spawn 90% of the time, so you might not be getting a unique variant every time.
personal exp : I apreciate gathering tropical fishes for aquariums or other and I noticed that a "rare/random" fish will spawn alone in a group of common ones
I remember finding a naturally spawned charged creeper on bedrock... I exploded it next to a Skeleton(I also died.. But it was next to my Base and I wanted to risk it).. turns out it was a too early stage in bedrock(many many years ago) and they didnt make it possible to get mob heads in survival at that time.... I was so frustrated as a child.

Got struck by lightning once when flying. Also had 5 villager librarians, around 4 to 8 blocks away from me, all get converted to witches in a single hit, only strike from that storm. They were in my trading hall but the roof was made of top slabs with no lightning rod in sight. Fortunately, didn't take long to reroll and get them replaced but glad I have trap doors between each villager stall; could have been much worse. I've also awoken to a nearly empty village once after an overnight afk session. It was likely a witch or possibly some slime. Had moved all the beds together outdoors to allow for easier and more controlled trading. Walk down the line of beds and wake each villager based on their trades.
I was a bit disappointed that he didn't go into how rare a mob with enchanted diamond armor is or a mob with full diamond armor, but I still liked the video. Someone mentioned a chicken jockey baby zombie in full diamond armor, how about invisible spider jockey skeleton in full enchanted diamond. maybe something to play with if I get bored.
Some of my friends and I booted up a realm about a year ago and the first mob I saw was a pink sheep! I guess that's pretty rare. Also, I once was blown up by a naturally spawned charged creeper in my PS3 edition of Minecraft. Those things do some serious damage!

Deepslate emerald is rarer than deepslate coal because while deepslate coal can generate anywhere in the world, deepslate emerald can only generate in mountain biomes, making it much rarer

Yes you are right. There are 2,700 naturally occurring variants. Using commands, up to 3,104 visually distinct variants can be spawned.

If any of the leaf drops occur they make it impossible to get any other from the same leaf block. You can only get one leaf drop at a time.

Deepslate emerald is rarer than deepslate coal because while deepslate coal can generate anywhere in the world, deepslate emerald can only generate in mountain biomes, making it much rarer

As a kid I experienced a natural charged creeper and it was insane it was out in plains wilderness and it decimated the terrain. I had known about them but I didnt know about the increased blast radius
@Shulkercraft I think yellow sheep is the rarest , in my smp a yellow sheep had spawned naturally but it got killed by my friends
One time when i was playng minecraft with some of my friends a thunder rain started like usual for me(a thunder storm for me is like 70% change)and i was getting struck by lightnings like it was 90% of that happening and it struck me like for half a hour.
