I honestly think this view could be good for non pilots. My mom gets sick if I show her the average FPV footage but this 3PV footage where it stays stable with the horizon and you just see the drone flipping might be something she could watch without getting nauseous.

I really like this view versus camera in the front of the copter it's a lot easier to see what direction you're going to go

It’s the little things
This is pretty awesome, imagine if Steele used one of these. Watching his drone actually do the maneuvers he does and not just the picture flip flopping around would be sick. Not that he’s any better, but he’s a lot more erratic. Also seeing Skitzo use this would be pretty interesting
You do have to sorta “fly for it”. If you’re too erratic the stabilization sometimes makes it worse. When you look at some of my s-flips you can see the horizon lock can be a little jarring. But yea either way, it would be interesting to see.
Your precision is sick.
I love how certain long inversions cause the camera to roll in the opposite direction from trying to correct the horizon. Adds a whole new dimension to the overall video. A good example is at 0:30 when you slow roll over the line of trees.
Think that was a specific effect Tommy added at that point rather than the stabilisation doing something due to the angle.
Yea I think it handles it pretty well. I was worried it would just freak out, but I think so long as you fly for it (with that in mind) you can make it come out not so abrupt
@@ummagawdFPV I figured as much. You can see with fast movements the camera more or less doesn't change, but those slow rolling, longer held inversions is where it shines.

I think this is gonna be great for showing freestyle to people who don’t do FPV and aren’t used to it, as i hear a lot of people say normal FPV footage makes them motion sick. Having the footage stabilised, and having the quad in the footage as a visual reference point will fix that, while showing what the quad is doing in more detail. I can see people boarding the hype train on this one
