Very well said. I watched a video last Wednesday or Thursday about Villa vie Odyssey by a you tuber. **He is not on your ship**. He is somewhere in USA. I made a very nice short comment on how well The Odyssey had done crossing from Africa to The Caribbean. Some man wrote the nastiest comment to me. Normally I would have said nothing, but I wrote a further comment to him. I also said I was unscribing from the Channel ( which I did). Several people wrote comments sticking up for Villa Vie. I am so happy how well she crossed that open sea. Every night I tracked her progress. She was magnificent. I am so happy for everyone lucky enough to be sailing on her.
Much appreciated. It is interesting how everyone expects perfection from a 30 year old ship. Things continue to improve, which is more than I can ask for. Still grateful and thankful to even be here!

I am happy more facilities are opening up on your beautiful ship. Their decision to sail and finish the remaining work whilst on your travels was an excellent idea to avoid keeping you waiting anymore. I loved the Caribbean islands on our cruise, stunning beaches everywhere!

Not trying to be mean or say they aren’t entitled and I certainly respect what they have done in life, but, for me, I resonate with people that I feel have put everything on the line to achieve their desired change. I feel you both are doing this because it is a dream that you have made happen with careful planning. Your cups are half full, I like that. I like when Steve video’s walking the streets, gives us a good look at the culture. I also love the cabin tours, it really gives a better perspective on what can be done with such a small space.

This is sailing week in Barbados and a time the tides change - this causes some beach erosion more on the West Coast. Very blustery - which suits the round the island Yacht races. Lots of kite-surfing and hydrofoil and windsurfing competitions.
Sea Turtles love them. I had great memory of paying 20 for a snorkel ride off that beach where you had the beer to swim with them about 10 years back. Glad to see one in your clip.

It seems to be in good part , about having a great and positive attitude. It is what will make situations tolerable and even better. I appreciate the two of you very much. There are other channels out there, one in particular high jacking the villa vie experience and pointing out every problem and making them a huge deal to create content. I hope all new people finding their way on board your beautiful ship, look for people like the two of you to ensure they make the most of this incredible experience. Being on the maiden voyage of a new company, I am sure there are many changes and bumps along the way but you don’t focus or dwell on any of it. If I was in a position to do a long voyage, I would do it the way you are!!!!!! On a beautiful small ship rather than on a slick, huge impersonal floating city. Blessings to both of you.

This is because I think you both need celtic salt(i get it off Amazon)... it will help keep you both hydrated without messing with your blood pressure or make your feet swell.. I suggest in 20oz of water add 1/8 of a teaspoon in the morning and before bed... it's especially good for warm/hot weather and fast walkers!!! Loads of vidios on youtube about it. Question: do you guys have to go through customs every time you get on and off the boat? Xoxo

I have a very difficult time staying hydrated.. and table salt messes with my husband's blood pressure so I went diving down the rabbit hole... now we both are hydrated thanks to this celtic salt.. I've got no links or anything I just buy a bag about every five months.. please do look into it! I am not a big fan of waiting in lines at customs or any other line for that matter.. 🤔 so that's love!

We love games, too. On any cruise we always bring our RumnyCub to play every evening between 'happenings'. On river cruises it is particularly lovely to sit on top deck and play while gliding quietly past stunning scenery.

We do have monthly fees in the program we chose. If something breaks, they fix it though.

Speaking of sea sickness, what do you guys do for health insurance when you are outside the states? Do you carry travel insurance too? Thinking about joining you all in San Diego, but have a lot of logistical question. Know you are busy and having fun, so just when you have a minute.
We have insurance through Nicaragua which is our primary home. So many aboard have all different types and companies...definitely a hot topic.
I love to see your adventures. It would be neat to see a "what we spend in a day" on port days.
Literally tracking every day...plan to do a month long report. Great minds think alike.

Glad that the Atlantic crossing wasn’t too bad for you.. I think I would have gotten seasick, especially on Day 6- the sea looked rough 😵💫. The choir was great and the song was hilarious 🤣🤣🤣.

Hey guys, thanks for taking us along, it's been fun to watch the journey! I'm wondering when you go ashore and get a car to take you around, are you arranging that yourself? If yes, what do you use, or how do you do it? It looks like sometimes the ship has organized it, but maybe you have done private, specifically in Barbados and Senegal.
The ship does have an excursion coordinator. We have done our own. We hired a taxi that day.
Wow. They have more cereal in Barbados than we have in our local store in the US.
Steve was shocked about the pricing! All imported...
