How can i publish the book for free. I have a book i want to give it for free. i dont want to make money with it. How can i do that ?
I have commented on his other video of me doing my very first book and followed step by step and i uploaded it on amazon and after the 2 day i got an full approval of my first ever book I've done, so proud of myself as being new and no tech skills at all, it took me hours though but worth every minute!!

If you have only one book finished but you want to write subsequent additional books i,e, vol 1, vol 2 et should I select "series" for the first book or skip it for the first one and series for each additional book? Also, I am requesting a license to quote directly from another book using PLSclear service and they are asking for the publisher and the selling price so the publisher, KDP I suppose, so they can add the permissions. Do I submit to KDP and they add the permissions? Any feedback about permissions would be appreciated. Thank you
If I only have my android phone, what free app can I down load to write my book that will allow me easy way to upload it to KDP when I'm ready ? It's my first time and I know nothing about micro soft and all that smart stuff , I'm disabled. Any advice is appreciated.God bless you all

I've been using the same file for paperback and hardcover. A 5.5x8.5 manuscript fits both and same for 6x9. You should try it, you just have to make a different file for the cover

That is a good question, you should be able to but you can go into KDP and speak via chat to customer service and ask them.

Thanks for this vid. Hey, I have a couple of questions about the measurements of an ebook. I looked at the cover calculator and it only shows paperback or hardcover. Is it the same concept for an ebook? I chose an 8.5 x 11 for the manuscript size, but I'm not sure how that works with a front and back cover. Do I need to make pages for them in my manuscript?? Any suggestions would be a HUGE help. Thanks so much!
Thank you so much for this video, I formatted my book following your instructions. When I uploaded it to Facebook though, a problem arose. The fonts hadn't been embodied so Amazon embedded them, which led to quite a derangement of my formatting. I have Word 2016 and don't have the option link in the "File" tab.

Hi Sean, I've been using Amazon KDP for a while now and publishing notebooks, journals, and gamebooks. I really like the options which Amazon offer! But I have a problem that I don't know how to solve. Only the covers are published, but there is no "Look Inside the Book", which I really need for customers to see the content and buy the product. How can pages from the body of the publication be displayed and not just the covers? Thank you for your attention
I'm not sure if there's any other way but you can also show what's inside by adding A+ Content. It will show up lower on the page but at least it's better than nothing.
I'm new, but I just watched another creator discuss this. They said that Amazon has recently changed the "Look Inside" feature and will no longer be doing it for low content paperbacks. I cannot confirm, but it was on a recent KDP tutorial I viewed today. Just wanted to share. Best of luck on your books!

I am doing this now, I used Kindle Create and then once I was done saved the file by selectesing execute to save in the correct format. Once I had the file it was simply upload manuscript on KDP.
Do you recommend copyrighting the book?

Love his content but I’ve yet to see anything in how to get my Bookbolt “file” uploaded to KDP. They don’t offer a full file export in PDF… nor do their videos address this that I’ve seen. When it comes to the upload option in KDP it’s hard to upload a file you dont have.
The bookbolt file should be in the folder that was created, it should have multiple files inside the folder.
Chat gpt is such a cheat.
What if you find errors in the previewer and need to correct them?
You will need to go back to your saved document and edit the file to correct the errors. Once corrected then you can resave the file and reupload.

Does Amazon print the book for you for every order you get?
