Congratulations on your 1 year anniversary, I have been driving busses here in Auckland New Zealand for 47 years and yes still enjoy it apart from annoying passengers like you mentioned, I am like you any passengers paying to much attention on there phone at bus stops I will just drive straight past another thing I hate is when passengers board the bus whilst talking on the phone and can’t find there card cause there to bloody interested with the person on the other end but yeah know what you mean. Anyway stay safe take care
Great video! 177s are annoying, did see you around Felixstowe Road driving 12266 I think yesterday? Also, when do you think the electrics are coming into service on the 180 bus route? I've heard they're all ready to be used.
@@TaylorStraub Ah great. Was wondering since Route 160 which is ran from Catford Garage had their EVs come into service today and I can't wait to see how 180 will look with the electrics!
I agree people are idiots as they’re just as bad North of the Border as London. Needless to say my favourite seats are the ones at the very front 😆. But I now use a Powerchair for my MS so I’ll be stuck in The Gimp Bay ie Disabled Bay. I spent years working on the buses 🚍 before ill health. So I know the driver’s pretty well from my old depot which is Glenrothes Fife in Bonny Scotland 🏴 👍 .
Was a good video and I agree when you see the bus you want get the oyster card ready then I makes it easier for the driver as well and you get on the bus and get to where you want to go

Probably was me and the electric buses recently had ticket machines installed so it shouldn’t be long now think we have 4 or 5 of them at the garage
