You are correct-rules require a master battery cut off switch on the rear of the car-in case of a pinched battery cable or something-or fuel leak- they shut it off first
The Barracuda at 1:47 can be seen hanging on a wall in an episode of Garage Squad.. I think it's the one where they restore the 1972 Challenger, but I'm not 100% sure.

I cant believe how slippery the track gets when your out of the groove and loose control . Those cars just cant slow down fast enough . Waste of a car . Oh well , thats racing !!
if the car starts leaking fuel then the battery shut off switch at the rear of car needs to be shut off immediately. better safe than sorry, believe me
