I love hearing positive comments about crate training. My dog is very well crate trained and it makes me feel comforted knowing she does well but a lot of others have negative thoughts
Andrew is so adorable, i find it hard to believe someone hasnt snatched him up.
Some things you could try for Stevie if you definitely ruled out a medical issue:
- add an extra litterbox. They can be close to each other or in seperate rooms, if you notice one isnt used at all you can consider moving it. The optimal rule is 1 per cat + 1.
- experiment with different kinds of litter.
- experiment with different placements, if she roams free, a whole different room than food/water is is a pro. They use it as a scent spreader, ive been told cats basically love to poo in the middle of their territory. I know humans are generally not a fan tho.. I do not think this is an issue tho, as she pees pretty much next to the box.
Disclaimer: you may have done most of these things already, i have the worst memory. If so, just ignore me!
I came to say it sounds like she may not LIKE that litter especially since they keep it clean so it’s not because it’s a dirty box. I use the Breeze system that my cats LOVE and honestly is best for me too because there’s NO dust.
I feel like also just changing the the kitty litter back to its normal stuff. I swear I've trying and tryes all that fancy stuff nope just plan Jane works the best

Glad to see that blaze boy is feeling better! Regarding Stevie, you can buy rubber mats to put underneath the litter box to catch anything that flies out. You should also have 1 extra box per cat(you should have 2 boxes for her)

Get 3 litter boxes. Use a different type of litter in each box
Try Cat Attract kitty litter, it helped a bunch with our really old (16 years+) I tried it in desperation after all of his labs came out well. Before getting the cat attract litter, we changed to geriatric litter tray as he does have arthritis.
Loved all the positive things that happened in this video! A blessing that Blaze came home, so glad Stevie is getting better and happy for Andrew putting himself out there and not being afraid to ask for help to be the best version of himself he can be! Stevie may be associating the litter box with pain, since she was sick while using it. Try a different pan with different litter. And clean the places she’s peed at with a solution of water and vinegar (1/1), to neutralize the smell that she might be smelling. Also, she may not like it cause it’s too close to her food. Just like we don’t like to eat where we go to the bathroom, neither do they! Just a couple of things I was seeing that might help. Glad everyone is back home and better! ❤

For your cat you might want to try to change the type of litter not just the brand but if you’re using clumping clay try using the corn husk or the pearl litter some cats will not use certain types of litter because they don’t like the way it feels on their paws sometimes organic potting soil works well also just thought I’d give you some information I was given by my vet when we had a the same situation with one of my cats hopefully you see this and I’m glad all the animals are feeling better and on the mend

I thought about Blaze each day since seeing he had to stay at the vet. My dog LOVES seeing your dogs, specifically Blaze, and when I told our Finn that Blaze was at the vet, he looked at the screen like "oh no"! We are so relieved he gets to come home and snuggle with all the good smells.❤
I am so glad that Blaze is doing much better. My Beautiful girl Bella passed away yesterday. She was 14 years old. Life is really hard without her. I miss her so much. It's so hard to cope at the moment. 😭

When you change the litter box for Stevie mix some of the old litter, like a handful, into the new so it still smells like her but not overwhelming to the point of dirty. If its been going on for a while and u dont have any used litter around you could put the puppy pad she went on inside the litter tray either under the litter or cut up and mixed thru.

Oh my goodness I just had my first girl dog like get fixed and I just got to pick her up and bring her home today and she's just a wreck like she's good she will but that was the first time that I've ever had to experience anything very scary like that like I have a boy he's sick he's good he's chilling but yeah I'm very glad that you're a man is okay your little man your fur baby and he's at home now or you can take care of him and where he can be safe and happy
maybe you need to change the litter to like pine pellets or paper pellets? my cat didn't like the clay ones, he keep on sneezing before...
You might need a 2nd litter box, usually you want 1 extra per cat. It might help? I had a cat that was extremely picky with cat litter and he would not go unless it was the exact brand we normally got. Stevie could just be upset her space now includes little dog AND 2 other people, when she had an entire bedroom to herself. It might be a privacy territorial thing.

Seriously haha. I've had so many cats with a Uti. Mine seem to prefer moving water. Like from the sink or the water fountain type of bowls

Maybe, another litter box with pine litter. For shits and giggles. Sometimes cats that have peed outside prefer the pine. Also, the puppy pads have a scent to attract them to use the pads. So maybe try the bed pads for incontinence?
CAT ADVICE since y'all have tried to many things maybe try cedar pellets like for wood stoves my cat hates litter.....and was having similar issues and all natural woodstove pellets cedar worked it's cheap too so just a thought and take their pee covered paper towel and cover it in the bottom of litter box to help them know their sent is there already.......
Our cat enjoys having multiple litter boxes so that could help. She literally pees in one and poops in the other.
You should try putting a puppy pad on the floor. One of our cats kept peeing on the kitchen floor in the corner or in front of the litter box so we started putting puppy pads on the floor and he would pee on them. Now he pees down the drain of the tub but the puppy pads work for the other cats also.
Getting a second litter box solved my cat peeing everywhere! Also cleaning it out every daily and moving the things she liked peeing on. I also switched to a crystal litter (I use Vibrant Life Mini Crystal Unscented Cat Litter, 8 lb) and it helped a lot with the smell and tracking. Since I switched my cat has only peed outside the litter box once and it was when it was 2 days past new litter day and I had not changed it. After I switched I saw something about cleaning the pee with an ammonia based cleaner and then again with bleach so that the smell is gone and they don't want to pee there again 🤷🏽♀️
Try adding a second litter box my cat doesn’t like to pee and poop in the same box. It worked for my finicky feline 🤷♀️
What kind of litter do you use for Stevie? She may not like the litter. Or she may not like the style of the box. You could get a different kind of box and a different kind of litter keep both out see which one she goes too. I know you mentioned pretty litter. Not sure if you got it yet. My cats didn't like it after a bit because yes it's easy to clean up poop but their pee dissolved in and couldn't be scooped out.

Try two litter boxes. My cats have on box they poop in and one box they pee in. They oddly like to keep it separate. Maybe this will help?
For Stevie did you try a different kind of cat litter.
Poor buddy pancreatitis is very painful. I have had it since I was 14 and thank for some major surgeries I don’t hAve it like I did. Pancreatitis is from fatty foods.

There are certain things you can get to attract cats to the litter box. I think there's special litters or there might also be something you can sprinkle in. Also adding a second box might help since you're supposed to have one more box than you have cats. Make sure you use an enzyme cleaner to clean up the pee cause otherwise she can still smell traces of it and re pee there

Maybe she needs an enclosed option litter box, for peepee time? Maybe try more than 1 litter box. Or diff boxes.

This vlog is a bit old so you probably wont see this, but id probably try having multiple litter boxes with different kinds of litter to see if she maybe would prefer different one. Also, obviously keep your litter boxes clean, but try putting just the teeny tiniest bit of her pee smell just for a day or a few days so she can learn like hey that's where pee goes. You said you got her checked so i assume that means she doesnt have a uti and is just not understanding litter training yet or that she may not like the actual litter or box itself, which there are many kinds to try :)

Stevie could be not peeing in the litter box for different reasons. Try a totally different litter and/or take the top off. If those don’t work. I would try getting a little bit bigger littler box.
Maybe Steve doesn't like the litter sand in the litter box
Put something like foil in the corner where Stevie was peeing. She won't like the sound or feel of it and it will deter her

Just an observation as someone whose job is to rehab athletes after injury, I think Rachel needs to challenge herself more.Those push ups at the start were clearly very easy for her, she should progress to horizontal / floor pushups. She is more than capable. Increase intensity and decrease frequency. Instead of doing 30 at an incline, do 5 on the floor and progress reps from there. If her shoulder is going to heal she needs to challenge it in a zone where her pain is present but at a tolerable level. Pain is ok, too much pain is not ok
