Bro, the gear shift should be as per the speed, not asper the road condition...and there is a speed rate for each gear for each bike... or else it will affect the gear box... tell exact technical details ..if ur rider...
Bro when you are in a road with lot of curves and turns you cannot go beyond 40kms speed. As per that I given the general gear ratios with milage . When you need technical details i can say like bike perform saturated like below speeds with gear. On 1st gear you can go up to 15kms . Same way on 2nd you can go with speed 25kms , 3rd gear upto 35km it's not the max speed. It's the optimal speed where bike does not get overwarm On papers we get this . 1st Gear - 20 km/h 2nd Gear - 20-30 km/h 3rd Gear - 30-40 Km/h 4th gear - 40-50 Km/h 5th Gear - 50-65 Km/h

@fiablefriends yes keep it this ratio at any road....as per the road conditions...ur speed automatically will drop....so maintain the gear accordingly
