unlike most group that uses others' vocal as their backings, SM always make idols sing their own backing vocals. it's nice to see them maximize what their idols can do with their vocal ability instead of using auto tune or using paid backing vocalists. it shows that SM idols have the ability to actually sing and harmonize even with their weakest vocalists.
They don't need auto-tune. Auto-tune needs Red Velvet hahaha

I’m like 100% sure most companies have cameras in the booths whether they plan to release them or not. So most of the extra work is just cutting all the footage together and subbing the dialogue. Which IS work, but it’s extra content and money for their bottom line so idk what the problem is lol
@@SinghReacts Some companies/groups probably do not want their raw voices heard at this stage of production. Not everyone has the vocal skills like these 5 queens.

As you noticed, the ladies like to move/dance as they sing. The natural instinct of idols who have to perform this on stage as they do their choreo. Many other vocalist just stand in front of the mike and sing… well, maybe a few hand gestures.
