This is definitely the best season of F is For Family yet. I love how everything matters-the slapstick and the crude gags have an effect on the character relations. We’re so used to seeing dysfunctional character/family dynamics normalized and spoofed on tv through shows like family guy and even spongebob. F is For Family however truly contextualizes this and molds it into a heartfelt tale of a troubled family unit while still providing some good laughs along the way. We rarely see this in animation as animation is supposed to be a means of escape from these themes.
Kipo S2 was glorious, the romance was a bit fast/forced IMO, but given how short a season it was... eh. Love it though. I really owe it to you to have watched S1 at all at first, so a belated thanks!
It's a teenage Crush. I wish people would stop expecting fictional teenagers to act like adults during Romance subplots. Teenagers develop crushes super quickly, they don't act the way adults do when it comes to love.

I understood the mom was the monkey almost the very second that the goats said that she was a "Mega jaguar" just kinda snapped together and i was like oooooooooooh
Get into season 3 on shera. It really goes through a transformation into being more adult and not shying away from the darker stuff later on. Then it really gets the chance to explore its themes more. But it is also a character driven show. It's really cool to see them develop more. So stick with it my dude. You wont regret it.
Are we gonna talk about how in F is for family the main character frank fought in the war and has shown that he does suffer from ptsd even if it is as a gag?
I love that in one of the episodes, Frank complains about the end of his favorite show ending in an indecisive ending, and season 4 is left in a cliffhanger.
YESSSSSS Finally some love for F is for Family! I keep recommending it to people and having to be like 'no, listen, I know what it looks like but it's actually a very dark comedy that's more of a character-driven drama if anything' and then people look at me like I'm nuts. It has this wonderful bittersweet feel that not a lot of shows currently airing do.
You absolutely need to see She-Ra, I watched season 1 like four times from start to finish (some of the comedy just really lands for me). The series as a whole is fantastic and hits some really tough subjects.
I wouldn't have known about Kipo season 1 if not for your channel, and now I wouldn't have known about season 2 without this video, so hey, thanks for the videos!
I actually really enjoyed season 2 of Kipo. Netflix has been doing amazing here lately, and im actually pretty exited to see the vid on She Ra, as I feel thats another show netflix (and dreamworks) did that was just incredible
Super damn excited for Season 3 of Kipo. It's one of the few shows that had me crying all the way through, the show is way more powerful than I expected it to be for a show rated 6 and up. Especially the ending of season 2 had me up in tears
I came here to see what you had to say about F is for Family. I weirdly really dig it, especially in the more current season. You made me really interested in Kipo and I might just start watching it tonight!
Kipo is more fast paced, with the fighting and soundtrack, but can still handle emotional moments with grace and without dragging the scene to long, while She ra was longer and focused on resistence fighting, but more on the relationship between Catra and Adora, focusing on the trauma and issues the characters face.
Just finished up season four of F is for Family and returned to watch the end of the video, and I gotta say that series doesn't disappoint! Really great and convincing character development and humour! Look forward to season 5! Also reguarding Kipo, anything with female shapeshifters is already a win for me, so this show is just aces!
I watched She-Ra when the 5th season, really liked it and looking for a show afterwards I checked out Kipo remembering your recommendation. Really liked the first season and loved the 2nd season in restlessly waiting a couple weeks, right now I am kind of obsessed with it. I like Hugo, I love what Kipo, the character, did in giving him a chance. I love the centre of the show of at least giving others the benefit of some love and empathy.
I can't wait for Tuva and Bertie season 2, also I watch both kipo and f is for family and I think there both genuinely well made especially kipo, lots of detail and heart put into that show
The earlier seasons of She-Ra aren’t as good as the later ones. I think they pick up quality in storytelling in the later ones. Season 5 was the best in my opinion. Maybe it’s cause they got a better feel of the characters. Though I’m not a fan of the Catradora stuff.
See I feel like there was a lot of potential with She Ra's storyline and themes of abuse. If they had strengthened the world they've built a bit more to tie up the loose ends, and up their writing game, it could have been an amazing show all the way through
Kipo is such a good show, that I (a 15-year old guy) legitimately love it. This show alone reignited my love for post-apo and kicked off my interest in worldbuilding. Even when i watched the best moments of second part of JoJo whit my friends, i was sometimes thinking ,,I would like to watch some Kipo's new season''. Thanks for recommending me this show Saber.
Dude I'm a sucker for characters and world building. It's why I love Beastars and Kipo so much, and why I only find JoJo part 1 and 2 pretty good, and the 3rd part honestly hard to get through.
I made my mom watch F is for Family with me and she loved it. She grew up in the 70s and 80s as a kid and she said it was very accurate to what life was like then. It is by far one of the best written comedy dramas on Netflix
The way Id explain "F" is for family is its an animated version of "the 70's show" where the parents are the main characters and the kids are the side characters. Its also more PG-13 whereas 70's show was PG
I gotta say I really like how kipo wasn't put to blaim for what her dad did. Usually when I watch shows, the villain goes after the family of their enemy as well, but luckily Kipo didn't do that, and that was really cool
Enjoyed your quick reviews. I'll check these both out as I've not got round to them yet! By the way, "Tuca and Bertie" is moving to Adult Swim for season 2, which is great news.
Scarlemaine is one of my favorite villains because I’m all for relatable villains and villains that I can feel sad for. Also Mohalland is a great character and I want him to keep making appearances
F Is for Family really gets to me. I mean, I my dad was a great dad, and as I get older I really start to see that he did everything he did for a reason. But the amount of life just kicking him in the ribs when he's trying so hard to be the best dad. . . ooof. I feel that.
I'm so glad you are going to review f is for family, a show about how a disfuncnal family can sometimes be like if you live in one.something that family guy failed at.
THANK YOU. Scarlemane is literally one of my all time FAVOURITE villains! His story is so interesting and I love the way they showed his feelings so harshly- like- “Oh! I-I guess they went and did all that.... then left.... what am I meant to do now..?” And I cried a little after that! I do not cry during.. ANYTHING! And I’m hoping they redeem him the way they did with Catra from She-ra- a slow but needed process. Thank you for covering the second season
Kipo was another example of the second season of a show being surprisingly better than the first, like Infinity Train.
I liked the first seasons of them better. I guess it just goes to show.

Luma that’s when I got it too
I love F is for Family soooo much, the ending leaves me hungry for more.
F is for family is like an R-rated version of king of the hill
Get into season 3 on shera. It really goes through a transformation into being more adult and not shying away from the darker stuff later on. Then it really gets the chance to explore its themes more. But it is also a character driven show. It's really cool to see them develop more. So stick with it my dude. You wont regret it.
Remember when this show used to be a toy commercial?
Are we gonna talk about how in F is for family the main character frank fought in the war and has shown that he does suffer from ptsd even if it is as a gag?
F is for Family is a seriously underrated show. Been watching it since there was only one season, and Im glad that it keeps getting greenlit for more!
I love that in one of the episodes, Frank complains about the end of his favorite show ending in an indecisive ending, and season 4 is left in a cliffhanger.
There's going to be a lot more fun when we get to season 3 of Kipo
F is for Family is more than just “animated That 70s Show”
I actually really enjoyed season 2 of Kipo. Netflix has been doing amazing here lately, and im actually pretty exited to see the vid on She Ra, as I feel thats another show netflix (and dreamworks) did that was just incredible
Netflix has better animated originals than their live action shows. I have yet to find a live action Netflix original that I actually find good.
Finally someone's talking about f is for family
Super damn excited for Season 3 of Kipo. It's one of the few shows that had me crying all the way through, the show is way more powerful than I expected it to be for a show rated 6 and up. Especially the ending of season 2 had me up in tears
Saber: Tries not to reveal that Kipo is part-mute
Also Saber: Shows pictures of Kipo using her Jaguar powers
My grandma is 74 years old and loves F is for Family...I’m proud 😌
It's more of a king of the hill than a family guy.
I came here to see what you had to say about F is for Family. I weirdly really dig it, especially in the more current season. You made me really interested in Kipo and I might just start watching it tonight!
F is for family is probably one of my favorite tv shows of all time
Congrats on over a 1 million subscribers!!
Can you do a Weird Episode on Adventure Time's "Power Animal"? plzzzzz
Kipo is more fast paced, with the fighting and soundtrack, but can still handle emotional moments with grace and without dragging the scene to long, while She ra was longer and focused on resistence fighting, but more on the relationship between Catra and Adora, focusing on the trauma and issues the characters face.

Your welcome
Thank you :-)
Just finished up season four of F is for Family and returned to watch the end of the video, and I gotta say that series doesn't disappoint! Really great and convincing character development and humour! Look forward to season 5! Also reguarding Kipo, anything with female shapeshifters is already a win for me, so this show is just aces!
You should maybe also take a look at the dragon prince since there are 3 seasons out which closes off the begging adventure.
Saber, can you review AKIRA (1988)? It’s a Japanese cyberpunk film and it’s amazing
I literally just watched your kipo season 1 review, lol. Love your videos dude.
I love Kipo and the age of the wonderbeasts I can’t wait for season 3
I LOVE SHERA ITS AWESOME
I can't wait for Tuva and Bertie season 2, also I watch both kipo and f is for family and I think there both genuinely well made especially kipo, lots of detail and heart put into that show
The earlier seasons of She-Ra aren’t as good as the later ones. I think they pick up quality in storytelling in the later ones. Season 5 was the best in my opinion. Maybe it’s cause they got a better feel of the characters. Though I’m not a fan of the Catradora stuff.
Definitely
See I feel like there was a lot of potential with She Ra's storyline and themes of abuse. If they had strengthened the world they've built a bit more to tie up the loose ends, and up their writing game, it could have been an amazing show all the way through
I’m glad to see you cover FiFF in a positive light.
Haha
The Thwiddler haha ur first
Wow you are first-
Kipo is such a good show, that I (a 15-year old guy) legitimately love it.
Part 2 is preaty good.
part 3 is a 1 to 1 adaptation of a jojo video game, where you fight boss after boss.
Am I finally first for something?
No
Not first,but pretty early!
Haha! No! REEEEEEEEEEEEEE
kipo and she ra are two of the most amazing shows i have ever seen
Where is the comments I need to tell people who say first to shut up
Your timing is brilliant. Finished f is for family yesterday
I'm super excited for your review on SHERA
omg I've been waiting for a review on f is for family
Wow kipo is just getting better and better wow
I'm really glad that you convinced me to watch Kipo. Season 2 made me cry.
Kipo is back! Nice!
F is for family is a fucking gem
Glimmer from shera is voiced by the same person behind kipo! And I really like how they used relatively unknowns for the other cast in kipo.
I finished all of “F is for family” and I can’t wait for more, it’s actually really good
I’m glad you reviewed this ITS AN AWESOME TWO SERIES
I'ma watch season 2 of Kipo rn and then i'll come back to this vid thanks for notifying saber.
Scarlemaine is one of my favorite villains because I’m all for relatable villains and villains that I can feel sad for. Also Mohalland is a great character and I want him to keep making appearances
You know what, you know what, you know what im ready!
Literally. I was talking to my friends about Kipo and the Wonderbeasts and I get this notification. HOW!?
F Is for Family really gets to me. I mean, I my dad was a great dad, and as I get older I really start to see that he did everything he did for a reason. But the amount of life just kicking him in the ribs when he's trying so hard to be the best dad. . . ooof. I feel that.
Love me some Bill Burr. And so many cameos in this season! Especially Joe Pera.
I had no idea at first that Snoop Dogg played the pastor. His voice was so much more upbeat than bow he usually talks which totally threw me off LOL
God I loved this show u can’t wait for season 3
when i saw you post this i was like "they have a new season 2" and it is 3:15am rn
I was in LOVE with the second season of Kipo! I JUST LOVE THIS SHOW!!!
