Excellent vid once again, a character in Deku's tier is pretty difficult to scale specifically because he's kind of at the point in between the Fortuneteller Baba and Tien Shinhan sagas, which is a massive gap in power. I agree that the furthest he gets, at a highball is King Piccolo, but I feel like he'd stop at the 22nd Tournament. I love a good weak to strong story, I just feel like Deku's personality feels very Scholastic Book Fair-coded, lol. - As far as other similar characters go, I'd love to see how far you think Tsunayoshi Sawada from Reborn! would get, loved that show back when I watched it, super dumb gag comedy but solid shounen fights.

About that thanks to the latest chapters it’s revealed OFA can’t be passed down to another human since it amplifies each time it’s passed down, thus it becomes too much for a human body to handle period after deku. So he’d need to pass OFA to goku, unless we’re working off the assumption his physiology was altered to be capable of getting as strong as the rest of the human z fighters when he got isekaied in which case he’ll take krillin’s spot in the TOP.

@@ijudgeanime Yes, it is. Kenichi is a likeable character and his growth is more tamed down compared to DB (I would actually say that is like in MHA). Only sad part is that the anime only adapts around 200/600 chapters that the manga has.
Deku most likely stops at Demon King Piccolo. Being a hero I have no doubt Izuku would do everything in his power to try and stop DKP but being far too weak to meaningfully hurt Piccolo likely will lead to Deku’s death. He’s facing someone who is magnitudes stronger than him, has regeneration(it’s an innate ability to Namekians but requires immense amounts of energy), and a varied move set with massive area of effect attacks. In a straight one vs one I can’t imagine Izuku surviving especially if Piccolo exploits his heroic spirit. The only conceivable way Deku makes it beyond this point is if he’s purposefully buying time for Goku’s arrival since he was the only one capable of putting DKP down for good. With Fa Jin, Gearshift, and Danger Sense it’s possible Deku can hold out long enough for Goku to arrive. I agree that Raditz is a hard stop of pretty much most of MHA’s characters, Izuku included. A head-to-head fight with the saiyan is pretty much a death sentence

He has the physical conditioning but that’s it. All the human fighters we see are prodigious talents and even then it took most of them years to become that strong. Getting to a point where Deku could beat Raditz would realistically take awhile since he has a limited martial arts background With all that said this comment and the video is under the assumption Deku isn’t learning a new power system but rather only utilizing what he had available at his peak with One For All. Armed only with the quirks provided by it his chances of making it past King Piccolo is exceedingly low, bordering on nonexistent against someone like Raditz. Any major threat beyond him could conceivably solo the entire MHA setting
@@123GOHANZ Even with ki, deku would spit blood with every punch he takes from even raditz because his physical body is FAR from what any saiyan in dragon ball has. They just outclass him. Deku would do minimum damage even if he sacrificed his limbs to go beyond 100% OFA by using Fa Jin 100% on top if like all might(though all might in his prime has a far far stronger body than izuku, so he would naturally outclass him if he learned ki). It is very unfortunate and sad but that is it.

I haven't even started this one yet. This is going to be a short video. I would move that reasoning back. Is the odds of him beating the Red Ribbon army 0? Probably not. But that doesn't change the fact that its incredibly unlikely. All it would take is one stray bullet, or one mech with a laser canon landing that hit, and its over. And considering that there is an entire army, easily thousands of a soldiers, I find it unlikely that he would be capable of handling the Red Ribbon Army. As far as King Piccolo, this dude was casually out powering a guy who vaporized the moon. MHA characters are flabbergasted when a city gets wiped. King Piccolo isn't even going to flinch when Deku throws a 100% punch, while using all of his other quirks to enhance that punch. The only reason I don't say that he would lose sooner, is because I'm kind of assuming this is a "he goes through the story" sort of situation, in which case, though he would lose earlier to the likes of 21st martial arts tournament Roshi, that isn't a life or death situation, so he would survive and keep moving on. Sure, in theory Deku's quirks are great for a tournament setting. But remember, not only is someone like Roshi stronger and faster, but he also has literally hundreds of years of martial arts experience compared to the, couple months (or something like that) experience Deku has. I don't see him winning in the tournaments either.

Deku is easily a mountain destroyer by the end of the series. As of the most recent MHA movie *SPOILERS AHEAD* The final battle ends with Deku using Faux 100% (One for All @ 45% + Fa Jin + slingshotting himself using Blackwhip) to launch himself into a flying kick at the main villain's flying fortress, which is easily the size of a mountain; the force of his kick completely shatters the entire fortress instantly.
It's totally possible he could best someone like raditz by storing fa Jin to a massive degree or something but the only way he survives long is if he's allowed to grow more powerful by training with someone like Roshi or King Kai in the verse
So my thoughts come down to when are we plucking him out and when are we plucking him in. If we are plucking him out at the final battle and plopping him in at the start of dragon ball than I think training and learning to use ki along with his quirks get him a lot farther because a big problem he has is his body can't withstand the full power of his quirk. By training in dragon ball without using his quirk it would unlock even more power. Getting to krillin's level and then adding one for all on top of it would be huge.
I agree, while the video conclusion is fair I think if you are just dropping him in do to any given fight if he was say replacing Goku from the start of DB with end battle Deku and we see how far he goes I think Deku would do much better then DKP for a couple of reasons. 1. point you made 2. OFA's physical boost effect is pretty much a DBZ transformation power (literally for AM more ultimate Gohan style for Deku) that can store power beyond what the body can handle. Deku in MHA could only tap in since it outclassed him so much but a DB trained Deku may very well master it as a stable power boosting transformation series he can improve effectively breaking the power cap the human dbz characters suffer from. 3. Consider what effect the real divine water might have on someone holding the well of potential that is OFA given point 2 possibly could be what makes it work like that properly. 4. Fa Jin is basically Kaio-ken lite and quirks can evolve if trained enough and this quick would have been getting a massive workout in the DB verse. All that together I think would be enough to give better then Goku odds against DKP. While against JR I feel Deku would not have great odds however I feel like he would still win but for different reasons remember part of Deku's character is being the type to inspire others to be strong enough to support him I feel like it would of been a proper team vs JR battle with the others having tried harder to be strong enough after DKP even compared to normal DB. Also I'm not sure if defeating JR would of been entirely necessary at that time JR's motivations were a hollow echo of DKP its not impossible that he might of been able to be talked down without a conclusive end to the fight. Skipping to DBZ Deku would of been giving it his all to be strong enough if Piccolo acted up again compared to gokus relatively passive time skip so I'd say starting dbz level power wouldn't be unreasonable. Assuming we still had Jr + Deku against Raditz and Gohan somehow still exists and was present to create that as it was battle (say Bulma never met Goku since Deku happened but Goku still ended up with chi-chi and was just a background character to produce the kids for dbz) I'd say an ending similar to what happen in DBZ is very possible blackwhip is good as restraints and would give plenty of chance to find the tail weakness Deku would probably fall hook line and sinker for the let me go plea (i know goku just knew that hold wouldn't cut it, deku would just fall for it) while Gohan wouldn't do his temper tantrum attack in this one Deku effectively can do that body hold AND grab the tail at the same time to similar results in a recapture allowing for the mutual kill. Deku wouldn't be stupid on the road to King Kai so that would skip the tricky encounters/restart Goku had. While I think Deku could complete King Kai's training and as a group effort Nappa might be doable after that this would NOT make him strong enough to face Vegeta except for one possible Wildcard. Not Spirit Bomb but the derivative technique Spirit Bomb Absorption if King Kai learned of how Deku's OFA worked he might suggest this as a last resort. This would basically give Deku the same power up ability as Moro granted a version that uses power given willingly and limited by what his base power lets him handle but ya this in theory could permit Deku to reach whatever power level he needs and at this point I don't think Deku would shy away from using the dragon balls to help him improve his baseline ability to handle higher levels of OFA to be a better hero.
I mainly do it as follows: anime character X gets plucked at their strognest fromt heir own verse and placed at the start of dragon ball. They will then fight every dragon ball arc in chronological order and work their way up
@@ijudgeanime and I think if that is the logic than we have to consider dragon ball's training arcs and their effect on the character. What this looks like is less the arcs and more pitting them against the villains of each arc gladiator style one after the other. Which with roshi's, Korrin's, Kami's and king Kai's training deku would get to freeza but be stopped without the super saiyan transformation.

A very good video overall. The thing with one for all, can it be passed down forever? In Theory yes but that’s if the person who inherits the quirk can handle it. As in mha if you can’t handle the power of a quirk or multiple quirks. That leads to a bunch of negative side effects like a shortened life expectancy, to complete insanity, and outright death.
The thing that fries my brain with VS scenarios like this is how both verses just fundamentally operate differently. Like DBZ humans are kind of crazy, if Deku is crossed over does he gain the same potential for growth that DBZ humans have? Like even without ki a martial artist like Hercule gets slapped around by planet busters and has a bump on his head. Deku's biggest weakness is that his human body isn't durable enough to use OFA at full power or his other quirks without putting more strain on his body. So depending on where he gets dropped in, he'll get stronger in base like the DBZ humans, and then be able to use all of OFA and the various quirks with less blowback on top of whatever DBZ strength increases he gets. I think it's fair to say he doesn't beat Radditz especially if that's when he arrives, but literally no one on Earth could beat Radditz alone. I think if he's dropped in from the start of DB and is a "DBZ human" he'd end up the strongest Human Z Fighter and make some of the arcs slightly easier up until transformations become the end all be all of the series. I also like the idea of him sacrificing himself against Radditz and learning Kaioken because I like Kaioken and it shoulda been used more.
Not likely. A lot of people underestimate how powerful Raditz is, because by Dragon Ball standards, he is a joke. However, if you throw him into your average anime, he is going to be final boss material, if not straight up soloing the anime. In this case, due to the fact that DB characters ignore hacks with shear power, its a solos the anime situation. Just keep in mind, MHA characters were shocked when a city was destroyed, not bey shear power, but by a chain reaction. Raditz MASSIVELY out scales a character who was capable of vaporizing the moon. You also have the speed category, where being massively generous, characters are hitting lightning speed (assuming that the characters who have electricity related quirks are actually capable of reacting to it, which is being incredibly generous.). On the other hand, Raditz massively out scales characters who casually blitz light. And all that is before Raditz ends up seeing the full moon and going great Ape, becomes 10x more powerful, and utterly slaughters everything in the area.
Deku definitely is getting stuck at the first moon buster he encounters imo. But imagining a world where he’s introduced in early dragon ball and has the same growth as the humans in DB he could get crazy strong, too bad he exists in a world that kinda just hates him lol

Okay, I now really really wanna see how far Kenichi Shirahama (from Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple) would reach. It would be especially interesting if you took his uncanny (near Naruto-level) ability to turn enemies into friends in account.

@@ijudgeanime Yes, it is. Kenichi is a likeable character and his growth is more tamed down compared to DB (I would actually say that is like in MHA). Only sad part is that the anime only adapts around 200/600 chapters that the manga has.
Deku most likely stops at Demon King Piccolo. Being a hero I have no doubt Izuku would do everything in his power to try and stop DKP but being far too weak to meaningfully hurt Piccolo likely will lead to Deku’s death. He’s facing someone who is magnitudes stronger than him, has regeneration(it’s an innate ability to Namekians but requires immense amounts of energy), and a varied move set with massive area of effect attacks. In a straight one vs one I can’t imagine Izuku surviving especially if Piccolo exploits his heroic spirit.
The only conceivable way Deku makes it beyond this point is if he’s purposefully buying time for Goku’s arrival since he was the only one capable of putting DKP down for good. With Fa Jin, Gearshift, and Danger Sense it’s possible Deku can hold out long enough for Goku to arrive.
I agree that Raditz is a hard stop of pretty much most of MHA’s characters, Izuku included. A head-to-head fight with the saiyan is pretty much a death sentence

He has the physical conditioning but that’s it. All the human fighters we see are prodigious talents and even then it took most of them years to become that strong. Getting to a point where Deku could beat Raditz would realistically take awhile since he has a limited martial arts background
With all that said this comment and the video is under the assumption Deku isn’t learning a new power system but rather only utilizing what he had available at his peak with One For All. Armed only with the quirks provided by it his chances of making it past King Piccolo is exceedingly low, bordering on nonexistent against someone like Raditz. Any major threat beyond him could conceivably solo the entire MHA setting
@@123GOHANZ Even with ki, deku would spit blood with every punch he takes from even raditz because his physical body is FAR from what any saiyan in dragon ball has. They just outclass him. Deku would do minimum damage even if he sacrificed his limbs to go beyond 100% OFA by using Fa Jin 100% on top if like all might(though all might in his prime has a far far stronger body than izuku, so he would naturally outclass him if he learned ki). It is very unfortunate and sad but that is it.

I would move that reasoning back. Is the odds of him beating the Red Ribbon army 0? Probably not. But that doesn't change the fact that its incredibly unlikely. All it would take is one stray bullet, or one mech with a laser canon landing that hit, and its over. And considering that there is an entire army, easily thousands of a soldiers, I find it unlikely that he would be capable of handling the Red Ribbon Army.
As far as King Piccolo, this dude was casually out powering a guy who vaporized the moon. MHA characters are flabbergasted when a city gets wiped. King Piccolo isn't even going to flinch when Deku throws a 100% punch, while using all of his other quirks to enhance that punch.
The only reason I don't say that he would lose sooner, is because I'm kind of assuming this is a "he goes through the story" sort of situation, in which case, though he would lose earlier to the likes of 21st martial arts tournament Roshi, that isn't a life or death situation, so he would survive and keep moving on. Sure, in theory Deku's quirks are great for a tournament setting. But remember, not only is someone like Roshi stronger and faster, but he also has literally hundreds of years of martial arts experience compared to the, couple months (or something like that) experience Deku has. I don't see him winning in the tournaments either.

Deku is easily a mountain destroyer by the end of the series. As of the most recent MHA movie *SPOILERS AHEAD*
The final battle ends with Deku using Faux 100% (One for All @ 45% + Fa Jin + slingshotting himself using Blackwhip) to launch himself into a flying kick at the main villain's flying fortress, which is easily the size of a mountain; the force of his kick completely shatters the entire fortress instantly.
It's totally possible he could best someone like raditz by storing fa Jin to a massive degree or something but the only way he survives long is if he's allowed to grow more powerful by training with someone like Roshi or King Kai in the verse
So my thoughts come down to when are we plucking him out and when are we plucking him in. If we are plucking him out at the final battle and plopping him in at the start of dragon ball than I think training and learning to use ki along with his quirks get him a lot farther because a big problem he has is his body can't withstand the full power of his quirk. By training in dragon ball without using his quirk it would unlock even more power. Getting to krillin's level and then adding one for all on top of it would be huge.
I agree, while the video conclusion is fair I think if you are just dropping him in do to any given fight if he was say replacing Goku from the start of DB with end battle Deku and we see how far he goes I think Deku would do much better then DKP for a couple of reasons.

2. OFA's physical boost effect is pretty much a DBZ transformation power (literally for AM more ultimate Gohan style for Deku) that can store power beyond what the body can handle. Deku in MHA could only tap in since it outclassed him so much but a DB trained Deku may very well master it as a stable power boosting transformation series he can improve effectively breaking the power cap the human dbz characters suffer from.
3. Consider what effect the real divine water might have on someone holding the well of potential that is OFA given point 2 possibly could be what makes it work like that properly.
4. Fa Jin is basically Kaio-ken lite and quirks can evolve if trained enough and this quick would have been getting a massive workout in the DB verse.
All that together I think would be enough to give better then Goku odds against DKP. While against JR I feel Deku would not have great odds however I feel like he would still win but for different reasons remember part of Deku's character is being the type to inspire others to be strong enough to support him I feel like it would of been a proper team vs JR battle with the others having tried harder to be strong enough after DKP even compared to normal DB. Also I'm not sure if defeating JR would of been entirely necessary at that time JR's motivations were a hollow echo of DKP its not impossible that he might of been able to be talked down without a conclusive end to the fight.
Skipping to DBZ Deku would of been giving it his all to be strong enough if Piccolo acted up again compared to gokus relatively passive time skip so I'd say starting dbz level power wouldn't be unreasonable. Assuming we still had Jr + Deku against Raditz and Gohan somehow still exists and was present to create that as it was battle (say Bulma never met Goku since Deku happened but Goku still ended up with chi-chi and was just a background character to produce the kids for dbz) I'd say an ending similar to what happen in DBZ is very possible blackwhip is good as restraints and would give plenty of chance to find the tail weakness Deku would probably fall hook line and sinker for the let me go plea (i know goku just knew that hold wouldn't cut it, deku would just fall for it) while Gohan wouldn't do his temper tantrum attack in this one Deku effectively can do that body hold AND grab the tail at the same time to similar results in a recapture allowing for the mutual kill. Deku wouldn't be stupid on the road to King Kai so that would skip the tricky encounters/restart Goku had.
While I think Deku could complete King Kai's training and as a group effort Nappa might be doable after that this would NOT make him strong enough to face Vegeta except for one possible Wildcard.
Not Spirit Bomb but the derivative technique Spirit Bomb Absorption if King Kai learned of how Deku's OFA worked he might suggest this as a last resort. This would basically give Deku the same power up ability as Moro granted a version that uses power given willingly and limited by what his base power lets him handle but ya this in theory could permit Deku to reach whatever power level he needs and at this point I don't think Deku would shy away from using the dragon balls to help him improve his baseline ability to handle higher levels of OFA to be a better hero.
I mainly do it as follows: anime character X gets plucked at their strognest fromt heir own verse and placed at the start of dragon ball. They will then fight every dragon ball arc in chronological order and work their way up

Which with roshi's, Korrin's, Kami's and king Kai's training deku would get to freeza but be stopped without the super saiyan transformation.

A very good video overall. The thing with one for all, can it be passed down forever? In Theory yes but that’s if the person who inherits the quirk can handle it. As in mha if you can’t handle the power of a quirk or multiple quirks. That leads to a bunch of negative side effects like a shortened life expectancy, to complete insanity, and outright death.

The thing that fries my brain with VS scenarios like this is how both verses just fundamentally operate differently. Like DBZ humans are kind of crazy, if Deku is crossed over does he gain the same potential for growth that DBZ humans have? Like even without ki a martial artist like Hercule gets slapped around by planet busters and has a bump on his head. Deku's biggest weakness is that his human body isn't durable enough to use OFA at full power or his other quirks without putting more strain on his body. So depending on where he gets dropped in, he'll get stronger in base like the DBZ humans, and then be able to use all of OFA and the various quirks with less blowback on top of whatever DBZ strength increases he gets. I think it's fair to say he doesn't beat Radditz especially if that's when he arrives, but literally no one on Earth could beat Radditz alone. I think if he's dropped in from the start of DB and is a "DBZ human" he'd end up the strongest Human Z Fighter and make some of the arcs slightly easier up until transformations become the end all be all of the series. I also like the idea of him sacrificing himself against Radditz and learning Kaioken because I like Kaioken and it shoulda been used more.

Not likely. A lot of people underestimate how powerful Raditz is, because by Dragon Ball standards, he is a joke. However, if you throw him into your average anime, he is going to be final boss material, if not straight up soloing the anime. In this case, due to the fact that DB characters ignore hacks with shear power, its a solos the anime situation.
Just keep in mind, MHA characters were shocked when a city was destroyed, not bey shear power, but by a chain reaction. Raditz MASSIVELY out scales a character who was capable of vaporizing the moon.
You also have the speed category, where being massively generous, characters are hitting lightning speed (assuming that the characters who have electricity related quirks are actually capable of reacting to it, which is being incredibly generous.). On the other hand, Raditz massively out scales characters who casually blitz light.
