To find a good places is essential but to find a good people is even better... Good people can improve your quality of life...
Politicians only make us look divided. In reality we are truly all Malaysians 😊
Facts are facts! I've returning Western friends who feel at home in Malaysia, and they max their 3-month visa. In the earlier years they regarded Malaysia as a border run.... now coming here is the home run.
Really going to miss KL. Off to Hanoi tomorrow then back home to Canada. KL is my Favorite city in Asia. I will come back for sure. Da Nang is fantastic as well.
The Malaysian airlines short code MH was marketed as Malaysian Hospitality. We used to be really proud of that. We are still proud of our hospitality. But we used to, too.
The rain is good to clean all the dirt, trees and clear the air pollution. We believed Allah blessings Malaysia and all of us here.
You're definitely dropping fact bombs, Ben. I've thoroughly enjoyed your perspective on today's topic. Your walk and talk videos are stellar!
Your subscribers number increase daily Ben! That's good yeah! In no time you will have reached 10k zone. Insha'allah ❤
yeah it's monsoon season now. expect heavy rain for the next 2-3 weeks. which is good sometimes because it was hot previously........
Very peaceful and calm.
Rain for us is a blessing.
If your car breaks down on the highway, the most helpful are the humble motorcyclists. They'll immediately stop, ask what's the problem, help push the car to the road shoulder, pluck some leafy tree branches (in lieu warning triangle 😅) and place them a distance behind the car, direct all other vehicles for smooth traffic flow, etc.
Ben we love our country rain or shine, hot or humid. It's one of the blessings living in Malaysia 🇲🇾
Malaysians are quite practical, simple life, decent people and no sugar coated compliments.. most are educated, not materialistic and have learned civic from home and schools since young and respect others adamantly..
I'm enjoying your videos Ben. In my 1st year here in a teaching job. Sharing your videos with my older classes. Have a great summer. Take a break if you can. Re-energise.
I couldn't agree with more with you. Loving life here with my Malaysian partner and few close friends here. For putting Westerns on pedal stool, Singapore will be prime example haha. And people there are impatient and salty as hell, I don't like my fellow Singaporeans. Malaysia has far superior culture and values and good vibes 😊
In general, Malaysian are really nice, and you are right that Malaysian are more communal. The heat and humidity is something to adjust and work around and it a wonder you can walk around in the sun. Looks like you are in Penang island. Love the place, the food selection are just awesome. Thanks for your vlog.
You are right Ben. Malaysians in general tend to treat white westerners about the same as they treat other Malaysians. I suggest they are at least two reasons for this :
Wow 7k subs, I subscribed when there was around less than 100 subscribers. Amazing job Ben, Malaysians love your vlogs, different and not just about eating all the time. We really appreciate your honesty and genuine thoughts about Malaysia. I hope Malaysia will be your second home 😊
