  • Hello! In this video, I'm showing you how I use this little pocket planner from Papier! It was originally supposed to be my purse planner/wallet but 2022 made other plans for it.. AND THAT'S OK :)

I am always so amazed at your impeccable writing! Thank you so much for sharing your planner and journaling system, I always get ideas from seeing what you do!

I just changed up my system after watching you! I have a Happy Planner 18-month coiled planner that I use as an aesthetic planner that also includes appointments and my work schedule. I have a medium sized Passion Planner that I use to map out chunks of time throughout the day and make sure I have time to get my to-do list to-done. And now I've gone back to a bullet journal which I use to track individual tasks (especially when I don't know how long they'll take). I also keep a leadership journal, which started as a project for my MGMT515 course, and a gratitude/prayer journal (which was also an assignment for MGMT515 lol).

I started a bujo this January and have already found that I hate spending the time writing out the days for the weekly spreads--mostly because I mess up a lot lol. But I got an email from JetPens saying that the Hobonici Techo lines will have April start date planners for purchase, so I will probably pick up a weekly model since I liked the actual planning set up I have now, but don't want to spend the time making messy days of the week pages. So, my current planner will probably start to function more like a journal moving forward, which I do not mind. I just wish I realized it sooner but thank goodness for April-start planners

So much praise to the planner companies that do April start.. “academic” year just doesn’t cut it anymore 😅
And that sounds like a good plan! I love it when there’s space to journal in my planner. And also it seems like it doesn’t matter how experienced you may be with undated books….you’re bound to mess up the dates sooner or later 😂

You completely inspired me and I got one using your link…ended up using it as a backlog as well😂your handwriting is beautiful enough to make me buy anything that you use in hopes that mine can look like that🤭

Thanks so much for sharing, Randi! My BuJo has worked well for me since January, but I just realized earlier today that I might be making some life changes in July. I was actually thinking of finding a more structured mid-year planner when I clicked on this video. It definitely helps to see how you're using this pocket planner, and I've signed up for Papier emails so I know when they release their mid-year products.

Thank you so much for watching! 💘
I know what you mean. When life gets a little crazier, it really is nice to have more structure to rely on. And even though it’s easy enough to pre-date things or make up some kind of future planning system, sometimes it’s just best to have it all laid out for you. And so many companies have layouts that align so closely with what I strive for in a bujo!
I’m excited to see what Papier will release for mid year planners. Their stuff is so cute!

I am looking for a good use for my Hobonichi Cousin and added an A6 Stalogy. I may cave and get a Jibun Techo Days for July-December.

The good thing about the Cousin is that there are so many ways to use it, pen only to very decorative! And enough pages to try out all the different ways to fill it up.
Hmm… I don’t know a lot of people using the Jibun Techo Days and am not super familiar with it myself, but from what I’ve seen, it looks nice and spacious!

Loved this video! Your handwriting is total #goals! Can I ask, is that.5 Pentel Energel ink in your pocket planner and Hobo Cousin?

Thanks for watching!! 💘 the pen I used in the Papier planner was a Pentel Energel Clena 0.5 refill, but the one for my Hobo Cousin has a Uniball One 0.5 refill! I just like the Pikachu Clena pen barrel 😝
