Took some splicing with a video and audio program, but as far as I know, this is the only complete/uncut version of this live performance on youtube. Others are cut in half, and most are in lower video quality. In tribute and respect others should be able to see this masterful performance by a grandmaster vocalist, writer, performer, and artist...

we r still here, dio, listening to great music...gone but will never be forgotten, rest in peace.
Currently at a funeral for a close relative of mine and looked for a song to bring some solace. This one happens to be absolutely perfect. Thanks Ronnie, Ritchie and the others. Wonderful composition.

Possibly the best version of the best song by the best band EVER. I UTTERLY love this. Dio's voice was pure and beautiful. Clear and clean amidst all that volume and chaos. The master of ad lib singing and Blackmore and Powell killing it with him. Glorious - thank god video like this exists so that we can remember it and relive it. RIP Cozy and Ronnie - you were among the greatest!
This video made me cry. I saw Rainbow at the Glasgow Apollo during this tour and watching this vid took me back to being a 14 year old who had dogged school to buy tickets for the gig in the front row of the stalls, Ritchie side, of course. Magical memories.

The circumstances behind this concert make this performance almost improbable, and yet it is possibly one of the greatest rock epics of all time! Dio is perfect and no one plays in the song as good as Ritchie.
This was the peak of Rock Music. A fine tribute to Ronnie James Dio (1942-2010) and Cozy Powell (1947-1998). May both Rock in Peace.

I can never heard enough Rainbow with Dio. Just perfection and nothing compares. I love Dio more than anything and all the Dio and Sabbath albums but there's just nothing like these two together and never will be.

Same goes for me, I simply wore it out back then. Such great musicians are incredible hard to find nowadays - who can deliver such a depth and musicality.

Brilliant work thanks for uploading. Personally, l am still partial to version of Catch the rainbow from the live Rainbow on stage album recorded in Japan. Nevertheless, this is a brilliant legacy for Ronnie James Dio and to Cozy Powell may they rest in peace. Simply put a masterpiece of immeasurable value.

There is more to Ronnie James Dio than what meets the eye. I can't put my finger on it. There is a vidoe out called Rainbow Anthology. It is excellent. I have been looking for that video for the last 2 weeks and finaly found it. I reccomend it to all Dio/blacksabbath/Rainbow fans out there. It is great to listen to.
