That is not true. They tried to pay him but he was ALREADY RESENTFUL, GRUMPY AND BAD ATTITUDE ever since he came back from his injuries. HE NEVER SHOOK THAT OFF. He carried a grudge about a lot of things ( you could see in his demeanor) and never adjusted his attitude, updated his outlook, swag, he never did. He wallowed in resentment, you could see it. CHANGE IS GOOD AND PART OF LIFE. SOMETIMES WE FIGHT IT BUT I BELIEVE IT WILL OPEN NEW DOORS FOR HIM. Still heart breaking to let him go.

Not me. I LOVED KLAY before he got injured. I thought he was great looking with a unique chiseled bone structure to his face. When he came back from his injuries he was resentful and it had aged him so much especially in attitude. He never let go of that resentment. He never updated his whole look, swag, anything. He wallowed about many things the last few years. Getting left out of the top 75 list which was AWFUL. I BELIEVE THIS IS LIFE MOVING HIM ON TO GROW GREATER AS A MAN. Who knows what and who are destined to meet him in Dallas. We love you Klay and will miss you but hope you find new happiness!

I think the Warriors have made a huge mistake in not prioritizing resigning Klay. The disrespect they showed him by putting off/undercutting his contract offer was unbelievable. As a Warrior fan I will definitely miss the remarkable, and so often underrated, Klay.
As a lifelong Warriors fan-it was a complex situation, but in truth-he should’ve accepted the 2 years for 48 million a year ago. He has shot them out of so many games recently-and he made clueless decisions on the floor often on defense and on offense. Of course, we will miss the entire history of these two together. No doubt. But if you’ve been following the team, you would know that something had to change. There were some bad decisions made by Bob Myers, including James Wiseman-and by the new staff not punishing Draymond Green and getting Chris Paul to replace Jordan Poole. Change is hard. We all wish him the best

Nothing stays the same. If Dray hadn't punched Poole a lot of things wouldn't have happened. Draymond broke this team up but the owners didn't punish him enough. So many other factors except part of this is KLAY'S OWN GROWTH AND JOURNEY AS A MAN, AS A HUMAN. He got severely injured that changed his life for 2 hard years. That created a whole different Klay. So of course it wont be the same cuz it already wasn't after all of that. We just have to appreciate what it was and we still get to watch Steph & Klay - just not together!

What development? Steph's early multi-year ankle ordeal wasn't about his game. Klay was always Klay. The Splash Bros. changed the game, but the rest of the NBA saw and changed and improved, while GSW stayed the same. Since 2022, GSW has shown how that legendary backcourt is no longer enough. Compared to the rest of the West, GSW became undersized and undermanned. Now, watching Summer League games, we see more and better talent than their counterpart of 10-12 years ago. Including in Europe, knockdown shooters have become the norm, from the Steph Effect.

Curry is the greatest shooter ever but opponents will not have to worry about possiblely the second greatest shooter ever (Klay) So there will be a lot less open looks for Curry. They are going to miss Klay warriors champions are officially over Curry won't get another one as a warrior.
