Fantastic demo. Will try to implement this in my research.

Note - you can't enable Stability Type under Run Mode if X-Z symmetry is on.

Great video. Just one question - how do you get a control surface to appear in the available control surfaces after adding a new group? I have added a hinge and control surface but it still does not appear for it to be selected. Thank you!

As the stability analysis uses VLM, should this only be run on the lifting geometry rather than the entire geometry set?

How can I get roll moment vs sideslip graph and yaw moment vs sideslip graph and also can we evaluate dynamic stability modes in OPENVSP ?

What is the definition of the ground effect here? Is it a ratio of distance from ground (h) to wing span (b)
    :h/b?

It is the dimensional height above the ground. I believe it is measured in the Z direction (but it might be perpendicular to freestream) and is measured from the CG location -- but it might just be the Z coordinate position...
I think some quick tests should make it clear to you. I also believe the vspaero viewer will display the ground plane for a given solution.

After an analysis run, click the 'Launch Viewer' button at the bottom of the VSPAERO window.
