- Stopped by the Smithsonian Botanical Gardens in Washington, DC and had my mind blown! The giant greenhouse features a working rainforest full of tropical plants and many that will be recognized from the rare plant craze. Lots of anthuriums, philodendrons and one of the most beautiful epipremnum pinnatum I have ever seen.

Hi jeff, Hope all is well and the flash flooding spared you.....aint rained here in my part of the deep south for God knows how long and the heat has been ridiculous....been over a hundred degrees everyday for weeks now and 80s at night with Amazon rainforest type humidity. It's a good thing my water comes from a well cause I'd hate to see the bill with as much water as I'm using to keep shit alive....takes me 24hrs to fully water my gardens(yes my tropical garden is that big). What's making it a HUGE pain in the ass is the fact tht my soil is pure sugar sand and once it gets hot enough and dries out its hard to get it wet again
