Loved this! I gave up socials for a year and it was kinda nice, I feel you on the comparing yourself with being on social media. Sometimes it’s nice to do a detox. I’m currently reading Reckless and not loving it, it’s taking me so long to get through, I was hoping it would get me out of my slump but think it might be doing the opposite. Great vlog 😊
Thank you!!! Omg I envy you for being about to do that. I think I would like to try a month off of it in the future but doing this was a great reminder to do social media detoxes more often because it was good for my brain. I low-key thought about dnfing reckless but I wanted to see how it ended. I would maybe switch to the audio book if you can see if that helps, I had to do that just to get through it haha.

Guilty of not reading as much when I’m off of social media 🙋🏻♀️ But I suffer from chronic fomo. Even seeing this made me wonder if I should pick up powerless again but I don’t enjoy YA 🤦🏻♀️
haha i'm glad i'm not the only one who does it, it's like I find things to do other than read. I do too, I was thinking the whole week "I wonder what i'm missing" lol. I would say give it a try, it's nothing ground breaking, I don't think it reads very YA.
People say Reckless was a cash grab too.
It just felt like it wasn’t ready to be published like she rushed it to get it out to us.

Your hair looks so pretty curled! I wish i knew how to do mine. Do you use a curling iron or straightener for it? I always make mine too curly. I like the subtle wave
Thank you so much !🥺💜 so I actually still use a curling wand 😂 it’s from the brand L’ange and my mom gave it to me years ago . I usually take bigger sections to make it less of a structured curl , the curls will fall throughout the day so they will get less “curly” as the day goes on. Sometimes I use a texture spray to give it more of that beachy wave
