Interesting, it's like a combination of 3 games. It's mostly like the Great Dalmuti, but with a Rummy rule thrown in and then the betting aspect from the Wizard card game. =)
The biggest influence are actually traditional Chinese (and other Asian) games like Zheng Shangyou, Dou Dizhu, Big 2 etc. Tichu and Haggis are both developments from that family of games. But most people in the west haven't played any of those.
I'm watching this in 2023. The dice tower has come a long way :)
Mr Vasel says my wife and I really enjoy this one, you crack me up into a ball of laughter Tommy Vee.
You also get to lead the next trick if you bomb, which can be a huge relief if your opponent is trolling you around left and right.
Thanks Tom, I just bought the app for this to try out.
Sounds a lot like Zheng Shangyou with a custom deck, some shared wilds and a couple extra ways to earn points.
also, the first person to go out gets 5 points for every card left in the hand of the person that goes out last.
The game looks like a ton of fun. It was great seeing Holly again too, isn't about time for her to review some kids' games?
