Wow, this is a REALLY well done exhibition! Love the choice of music, really gets stuck in your head after listening to it, editing was superb, and the subtitles... while prolly not the most accurate, still fits really well! Only thing I think was kind if lacking was the sound mixing..... I just felt A LOT of destiny dc's sound effects were too loud and kinda drowned out both the voices from the game and the song itself, but other than that, very well done!
I can agree with gou well done only I couldn't hear the characters voices all that well.... any who cares!! So many mystic arts in this game more than any Tales games that were released in North America.. Japan so lucky they get these awsome remakes...
@@alexandriabadger385 Um, Graces had 4 per character, 5 for Sophie and Malik.
And Graces actually had enemies with MAs

This is one of the best Tales of for me, Destiny and Vesperia. Hands down. This days the Tales games looks the same, I still love them and they are my favourite rpg saga, but I just feel that something is missing since Team Symphonia and Destiny arent complete. :/ Btw, great video. :D

@sonic26000 Blast Calliber in Tales of Destiny PS2, I think. Mystic Arte is how they translated "Hi-Ougi" to fit in the progression: Arte > Arcane Arte > Mystic Arte
You do awesome work; your translations are very poetic. The only thing that could make it better would be the translations for the move names themselves.

Funny how Xillia 2 releases half a decade later than Tales of Destiny R and the original Rebirth Crusader is still much more impressive visually.

Well to be fair, Graces F brought a lot of Mystic Artes/Blast Calibers. Maybe someday they'll go back to bringing Blast Calibers back
MrGamer1992 I know, which are freakin' awesome!... Sadly was hoping for Xillia to have 2 per char, and then Xillia 2 3 but no... I hope Zestiria has BC system, as it will have an enhanced Graces battle system!
+MrGamer1992 a bit late to this, but Graces F was done by the team that did Destiny I believe, and they don't have that team working alone anymore. I liked their version of tales a lot more.
+桐原白野 Yeah Team Destiny isn't part of the developing team anymore. Some people stayed like the battle designer (which is why the two games post-TD breakup he worked on, Xillia 2 and Zestiria, are closer to TD style) but the magic of the two teams was lost when they merged and restructured all teams into one and later were restructured even more when absorbed into Namco.
For the record Team Symphonia doesn't exactly exist anymore either. Though the new games have been way more inspired by its style-

For future readers and/or curious, Team Destiny worked on Destiny 2, Rebirth, Destiny R and Graces while Symphonia did Symphonia, Abyss and Vesperia. Dawn of the New World was done internally by a part of Team Symphonia but not the main people while Hearts and NDX are a joint effort between the two Teams. Post NDX all Namco in-house games are developed by the same one team, Team Xillia, which is mostly formed by "Team Hearts" which made Hearts and NDX with a bunch of huge restructuring changes of course.
+Kevassa02 At this rate I just don't want to care about Tales as I did before, rather have low expectations... And hope to finish Rebirth and/or start ToDDC lol

I don´t like how some localizations simplify the translation too much making it sound pretty bleh...
Like from "Coglafration of scorching red scarlet, burn everything in my path and leave nothing in your way" to "O know the conflagaration, incinerate all!"

What the heck is the difference between blast calibars and Mystic Artes? It's not like other Tales game Characters don't have multiple MA's that they can use at will...
