      Especially when, as noted, there are lots of people out there who lead sedentary lives, are obese, possibly vape, and are very proud they are on "Team Vax" and let everyone know it. And then you might have a someone else, who teaches yoga (aquasize, jazzersize, etc), follows the DASH diet and has given up added sugars, and is maybe at the low end of "normal BMI." And now that person gets dismissed from the primary care physician's practice because s/he is not vaccinated. That is wrong.

      @@katygroening1692 Katy, sadly the "Team Vax" person is more often a person who belongs to your second more healthy lifestyle group - and I think it is a gross generalization to state that they want to "let everyone know about it". Sure there are some, but also I seem to be hearing a very loud anti-vax message from proponents of that view. There is very persuasive evidence showing that the sedentary lifestyles, obesity etc. of people are more likely have a worse medical outcomes than of those who are healthier. Now with Delta there has been a game change where people who present as "healthy" are also getting badly affected by the disease - some with very bad outcomes. But good evidence shows that those who are fully vaccinated in both groups, if diagnosed with a breakthrough infection, have a roughly 95% chance of not requiring hospitalization. Respectfully, to say otherwise is wrong.

    Regarding this "96% of physicians..," it's important to clarify that 96% of 301 physicians who responded to an AMA survey reported being fully vaccinated; on the other hand, only 42% of 711 physicians who responded an AAPS survey reported being vaccinated. The true percentage likely lies somewhere in between, but 96% and 42% likely represent two ends of an incredibly biased spectrum.

    “Delta is going to cause immunity whether you get vaccinated or not” yet she supports vaccine mandates now. Just because there is “legal precedent” does not mean that something is litigiously appropriate. In America Slavery was legal, internment camps were legal, segregation was legal. I like ZDOGG’s approach of being open and honest and messaging appropriately. If someone doesn’t want to get the vaccine they don’t have to and they take that risk upon themselves. That’s it. End of argument. There is no reason for vaccine or immunity mandates if most people are vaccinated and are safe from severe illness. “They are happy in Europe” no they are not. There are millions of people protesting against mandates and passports every day. She needs to become more educated on how normal people think. Thank you for sharing her sheltered opinion.

      This interview was all about convincing people to get vaccinated. The data presented is outdated and incomplete. They talked about Isreal but not the whole story. They said the quiet part out loud with that statement about how Delta is going to cause immunity whether you are vaccinated or not. YES because the gene therapy "vaccine" caused pressure to be applied on the virus and its reproduction forcing it to mutate much faster that it would have without the altered spike protein. The bottom line is it isn't working anymore, you will still get sick. As sick? Who knows because SARS Covi-2 affects everyone differently and if you catch the variants they are even less lethal than the Alpha which was survivable by 98 percent the world over. The thing that really makes me upset that there are and were therapeutics that were swept under the rug in exchange for these gene therapies. How many thousands of people did they kill by not having access to simple and inexpensive drugs and treatments while promoting this expensive and now rapidly ineffective vaccine tech?

      @@Wondwind I can give you those numbers.
      The Associated Press's analysis of government data from May of 2021 shows that vaccinated individuals make up only 1.1% of COVID hospitalizations.
      In May, of 18,000 COVID deaths, we know that only 150 of them were in vaccinated individuals. That's about 0.8%.
      Ask any nurse if the majority of their COVID admits are unvaccinated, guarantee you they'll say yes.
      All you have to do is Google unvaccinated vs vaccinated COVID deaths, and you'll receive tons of data on it.
      It is the fault of the unvaccinated, actually. I'm putting the blame squarely on them. They made the very stupid choice to not get vaccinated. Now they're bogging down our healthcare system. Every day, I read post after post after post on a nursing messaging board about their frustration with their idiotic unvaccinated patients who are overloading an already strained healthcare system.
      I don't give a shit if a lot of them end up with natural immunity. The ones that don't are already too much of a burden on the hospitals in this country, and that's due to their own selfishness and stupidity. You don't have a right to talk about who's to blame if you're not part of the healthcare system who has to deal with the fallout.
      And where are your numbers? You were very quick to call out another commenter's "fearful percentages" while providing fuck all to support your own generalizations. Let me guess. Don't have any? The government's covering things up? C'mon, let's see if you can find a pathetic enough excuse I haven't heard before. It doesn't matter to me that not everyone who catches COVID will die to it. What matters is that of the people who do die, it is absolutely preventable. Uneducated people like you who stir the pot are to blame. Convince me that relying on solely natural immunity is better than getting the jab AND using your natural immunity.
      Let's add to that the fact that many of the numbers we have so far are from the primary waves and variants of COVID, the most forgiving and docile ones. Delta and whatever other nasty variants it might mutate into because of the idiotic unvaccinated individuals letting it run rampant are known to be more vicious. Never has the divide between the unvaccinated and vaccinated been so clear. If you caught it the first time and survived, cool. You have a much better chance of surviving Delta if you get it. But you should absolutely still be getting vaccinated. Because your dumbass little friends who never caught COVID will look at you and say, "Well he wasn't vaccinated the first time either, and he's fine now!" Yeah, that's because you were fighting a much more mild strain of it. Are the vaccines the perfect counter to Delta and future variants? No, absolutely not, but they're a hell of a lot safer than risking death by gaining natural immunity the original way. Early preliminary research is already showing that booster shots are helping even with the newer variants. As I said earlier, only 0.8% of the people dying to COVID now are vaccinated. That's from May, when Delta was first emerging.

Encourage, educate, and then respect your patients choice. If you allow yourself to walk past that gate, you are leaving your medical ethics behind (regardless of the emotionally-charged justification can often follow). It is a failure of public health to have to mandate any intervention, and it will cause more harm in the long term. Especially since we have natural immunity to consider, rapid antigen testing (for vaxxed and un-vaxxed), mask use, etc..

For all the reasons you mentioned, I agree with you completely, and physicians that do what this Florida doc is doing, is the exact opposite of what healthcare providers should be doing. That's hardly a ringing endorsement of getting vaccinated, even for the vulnerable. Also Dr. Kory has stated that the I-MASK+ protocol wasn't working well at all against Delta, with patients crashing into ICUs and the FLLCC were "demoralized and frightened" (exact words used). One of the founding doctors in the FLLCC group has left the organization because of the poor, almost anti-health messaging that seems to be condoned by the organization by their legion of antivaxx followers, and none of the FLLCC members have been very visible/confident lately on various social media...

      Probably because of the fact it infects other people and even healthy people have died, yet there's still people who don't care enough to even wear a mask. Ordinary people prove themselves to be very untrustworthy, even in Singapore where I live - the most susceptible old people are just sitting around unmasked and chatting at crowded food spots half the time so cases have been going up recently even with a mandate. Like, they KNOW it's bad, but they can't help themselves - people would only be in "danger" mode for so long. If the pandemic's taught me anything, is that human brains can't handle longevity of dangerous situations. "It looks safe, must be safe, everyone's doing it! Oh let's go out to a concert just once, let's talk to the neighbour unmasked for 30minutes just once, now I'm gasping for air in the ICU regretting my actions, I knew I shouldn't have done it", I've already seen cases like that.
      If everyone's living in a city that is highly connected to other people, like there's 5 laundromats for 6 million people and everyone goes there, and everyone shops at central malls or go to a central venue for everything, and there unvaccinated people live there and choose not to get vaccinated even after years.... they are not respecting their neighbours, their colleagues, other sick people who need the hospital resources and the essential workers who're affected by their choice. A lot of people have already been killed by the unvaccinated people's actions, people have lost their mothers, their fathers, their father in law, sometimes their entire family at once; shouldn't that make it necessary for a mandate BEFORE any more lives are lost? Disabled people's lives are clearly not important to many self-absorbed people, that old lady down the street's not important to many self-absorbed people, why would spending hours talking to them telling them to inconvenience themselves for the disabled be any help? How is spreading covid to the weak and susceptible different from involuntary manslaughter?

My husband got COVID and we didn’t not isolate from each other while he was sick. I know for 100% that I was exposed, but I never got sick or at least never felt sick. My question is, if my immune system is fighting this virus on it’s own without a vaccine, why do I need a vaccine? I also don’t get sick very easy with a cold or the flu. There are other people that I know who got the virus but said that it wasn’t any worse than a mild cold. What about these people, who apparently have a great immune system and ha e already faced the virus without any issues, do they need a vaccine? I would view it like the flu shot, it’s optional for those that feel like they need it.

      I do like that when they talk about people who have gotten COVID-19, that they suggest that they get one shot but aren’t telling that it’s a have to. They are at least acknowledging that there is natural immunity. What I don’t like is still the narrative of, “If you haven’t gotten COVID-19 and are unvaccinated, you WILL get it and get seriously ill.”. In my case, I can only assume that I got it or that my body’s immune system was good enough to protect me from it. Then of course how they are wanting to mandate the vaccine (and are in some cases). My whole thing, for me personally, is why do I “need” something that I don’t need? Ya know? I don’t feel like I have gotten a straight answer from anyone on that yet.

      @@carolynchandler9258 the difficult thing is trying to predict who will, or wont, become severely ill if they get covid. There are a lot of things that increase risk of severe disease, such as age, underlying conditions, etc, but there are also young, seemingly healthy individuals that have ended up in ICU and/or died, without having any risk factors. Having no immunity, whether via vaccine or infection, does not guarantee you will become severely ill, but it is impossible to know if you will be one of those unlucky people. Regardless, I still believe people should be allowed to make their own risk assessment and decision whether or not to be vaccinated. Personal choices surrounding healthcare decisions must be protected, and unvaccinated people are really not posing a risk to those that are vaccinated or have immunity from previous infection. The fact that the media and public health "experts" continue to push this false narrative is even more detrimental to their efforts to convince people to get vaccinated.

I think of the phrase, "Why fix something that aint broke". I know what my reaction to the virus is. It's the same way that I see the flu shot. Some people get it every year to help them not get the flu or to lessen symptoms and some don't. I live in the rural south and have seen young people die because our vaccine and/or immunity rate is low. Totally scared of sending my child to school. Lost my mom to COVID. Don't want to lose my child because he is too young for the vaccine. It makes me sad how political this has gotten. You always have such a rational discussion and I wish everyone would follow the science.

    So what I’m hearing is that the PCR test with many amplification cycles can show fragments of the virus, but not definitely if I’m infected, going to get worse symptoms, or if I would transmit it to others. In other words, this is a terrible test, that we have been relying on falsely.

      What’s “many” amplifications?
      As an infection prevention nurse, I’ve seen the difference between 40 & 60. Then the CT value would have to be evaluated if you are actually infectious. Nobody said it’s 100% fool proof. But it’s the best we can do.
      Rule of thumb, isolate when symptomatic. That’s when the viral load is the highest. Once you get a positive PCR, it’s too late. You’ve already infected 10 other people.

      Yep, sorry to hear that. The fact is the "vaccine" was not designed against variants, only one protein from the original Wuhan virus, is relatively ineffective against delta, almost useless after 5-6 months, probably useless against any new variants. Make sure you demand hydroxy chloroquine and/or Ivermectin! They work!

    • @AndyHenricks

      And when he gets better he will actually have immunity. What he received was a double dose of a narrowly focused in design gene therapy which is now being surpassed by the virus' natural response to pressure being put upon it by the gene therapy in order to reproduce. It would and could never give a person true immunity - what it did was make it difficult or in early days impossible for the virus to take hold in your body, but not fight it off.

      ISRAEL the country that had the MOST vaccinations - and since become the nation with the MOST infections .... which translates into Vaccinated infecting other Vaccinated people - since the vast majority of its citizens were vaccinated.

    • @ridgebriar17
      @ridgebriar17 3 года назад +1

      @David K Vaccinated people are still spreading the virus - the more spread - the more the disease will exist in the population. Also, ISRAEL also noticed that the Vaccine's protections were failing - allowing more people to become ill.
      2 problems - Vaccinated are still contagious. The Vaccine's ability to prevent serious illness is diminishing.
      We are going to have to use other methods and treatments in order to get this thing under control - because when vaccines were first given - no one expected they would still be infectious,

    • @ridgebriar17
      @ridgebriar17 3 года назад +1

      @David K The infectious disease specialists were shocked when they started testing Vaccinated people - only to find their viral load was just as high - as it was for the unvaccinated. The CDC was so alarmed at this discovery - they delayed that announcement of this "new" information at least by one day ... it was a shock to everyone - and has COMPLETELY changed the ability to control this virus - and how we interacted with everyone around us. As mentioned on this very site, under a different topic - about how when one man realized that the ONLY person he would be helping with is new form of transmission - would be himself - as "he" likely would become less ill if infected ... and with some encouragement, he was convinced to get that vaccination anyway.
      Why do you think vaccinated people are told to wear a mask indoors now? This is just another loophole in the VACCINATION bullying ... while it is still helpful - our administration and all the talking heads on cable TV are not being truthful - because they now NEVER mention that the Vaccinated will still be contagious - just like ISRAEL. There is another Doc on RUclips who is very level headed, Dr. Mike Hansen - and he just had a fellow Doctor and friend on his video - who had HAD COVID, WAS FULLY VACCINATED ... very healthy, ran and trained for marathons and appeared to be under 30 - and he thought he was bullet proof.
      ▶▶ BUT he went to an open air concert crowded with MASKLESS people - shoulder to shoulder ..... and a few days later - he was hit with COVID a 2nd time and became very ill. If he had been older and not as fit ... he very likely would have been hospitalized.
      WOW ... so much for lasting immunity ... he had BOTH natural COVID antibodies, vaccine antibodies ... and only took his mask off outdoors . . . and he became seriously ill with a second round of COVID.
      If we want to get rid of this COVID "plague" ... everyone needs to mask up. But the CDC and other organization are now afraid too - for fear of Trump's base becoming more aggressive and hostile - because when the CDC 'surprised' EVERYONE by telling masked people they could remove their masks - it is now almost impossible to get them to put them back on.
      There was massive confusion about masks at the beginning - which easily could have been communicated better with just a few words ....
      "AT THIS TIME, we do not recommend mɑsks ... we will give you any updates or changes when we know more about how this COVID 19 is spread."
      WOW those few words were all their were needed to make people understand that mɑsk guidance was still be researched and evaluated - and it would not have turned something so basic .. into an issue that still damages the NIH's credibility to this day.
      I have OWNED 2 businesses - for over 30 years - - and we would NEVER have made an absolute, unwavering announcement like that under those circumstances - and had enough common sense to know ... if anything changed their mɑsk guidance - their credibility would be forever damaged - which it was. Same thing about the premature CDC announcement to remove masks if vaccinated - even health professionals had a shocked look on their face when they heard it - and immediately could find numerous problems and questions that were NEVER considered by the CDC - before those words were unleashed on Americans.
      SMH!

      I love that phrase too. A year-and-a-half ago I was one of the first people I knew to be concerned about the concept of a vaccine. I didn't see how they could have come up with it I didn't see how they were going to do it given how fast coronavirus is typically mutate. Then when they said they finally got it I was distrustful because nobody was explaining just exactly how they managed to do this and could prove it was safe so quickly but as we've gone I've become more and more comfortable because as we Round the Corner to the end of the second year with these vaccines when you include the testing faze, I'm not seeing the negative reaction rate at extremely high level and I'm listening to people like Zdogg who genuinely treat me like a grown adult and speak to me I do I'm educated enough to understand what he's saying which I am. I had covid last year because I'm an essential worker as did my husband. He got his one J&J last week and I'm pretty sure I'm going to get it this week. The biggest reason I've turned around and changed my opinion is because the alt right side seems as fanatical against the vaccine as the alt left is for forcing everyone to have it. I don't like extremes and I find the truth is always somewhere in the middle.

    • @lynnb2562
      @lynnb2562 3 года назад

      @David K yes I knew that they had said it was based off the SARS vaccine. That's what made me so nervous because when there was talk of vaccine at the beginning of the year last year I started looking into it and found several medical journal articles warning against rushing a covid-19 vaccine based on the SARS vaccine because the Stars vaccine never worked fully and many of the animals died in Trials from antibody enhanced dependence and cytokine storm issues. The fact that they could never get a fully-functioning effective SARS vaccine made me concerned and the fact that they based this one off of it but somehow managed to make it up in a matter of days after receiving the genetic code from the Chinese government made me equally nervous. And yes the lack of animal testing made me even more nervous still. But I waited and waited and we just aren't seeing any issues with cytokine storm or ADE and at some point there comes a moment where you realize that enough time has passed and if we were really going to see people dropping like flies around us we would have started to see something by now. And so while I was nervous at the beginning, I'm becoming far less concerned. I have no doubt that the government and big Pharma are in bed together like nobody's business but it's for the purpose of making money and you don't make money by killing off your clients. Though I do understand people who are very concerned because of some of the things Bill Gates says about population control and using vaccine to control population. That man had some very disturbing ideas and far more money than he needs to implement those ideas so I can understand why people are nervous when his name is attached to things. But it does not take much to realize that he would have had to have paid off millions of people if he was using this particular vaccine for some grand scheme

    Love this conversation! It really helped to understand the hysteria of the CDC and their messaging.
    Regarding the point made @53:45 about wouldn’t we rather have a prevention than a treatment, I don’t see as much cognitive dissonance in some people, since to be fair to Dr. Pierre Kory and the Ivermectin proponents, the idea is here to also use it as prevention - namely as prophylaxis, which all of them constantly talk about as well, in fact always emphasizing that prophylaxis is best, early treatment 2nd best. But I‘m happy to see that the conversation never pulls things into ridicule, but instead sticks to understanding. If more people would do that & look at the data more calmly and scientifically with no censorship, both sides would be more open to look at the data with less bias.

      I'm in WA, and I think their biggest mistake is messaging, I just can't see how we are going to get 95% of people who trust the vaccine or the government. I think what will happen is that we will have a spike in cases and disease such as NSW is having now and then it will be worse in the unvaccinated. So we need to keep the vulnerable up in vaccination and hope we are in the vaccinated group when it goes through the population if Macgowen will ever allow it into the state that is. But the problem in Western Australia which he isn't saying is that we already have capacity issues with our hospitals. My mum was catagory 2 needing a hip operation and her first booking was cancelled due to no beds available. We have a severe bed crisis over here. Basically it's going to be a mess.

      I think that it depends on the goal. In Denmark we are opening up with 71% of the (entire) population fully vaccinated. We are far from herd immunity, but we hope to weather the last storm. As far as I understand the official models predict another million infections and 1000 hospitalizations. As far as I understand the goal is to open up without causing too much strain on hospitals and definitely without running out of ICU beds.
      If you want true herd immunity through vaccinations, then you probably need to vaccinate much more than 70% of the population. I don't know the correct number, but I guess that it depends on the vaccine and the behavior of the population. One of the British experts recently claimed that Britain could never reach herd immunity through vaccinations, so everybody should expect to be infected sooner or later. (I wonder if the problem is that AstraZeneca has too many breakthrough infections to create herd immunity)

    How did India get through their huge outbreak? If you look it up, you will see that some provinces sent all of their citizens Ivermectin. If you look at Peru, Ivermectin lowered death rates, until a new administration came in and pulled Ivermectin - then we see death rates increase 14 fold. I really appreciated your conversation here - thank you. It still seems like it is not the full picture. Early detection and early treatment, along with natural immunity, along with vaccinating people (who want it) 65+ and those with preexisting conditions seems like a more reasonable approach.
    'the only way we are getting through this pandemic is vaccination' is still yet to be seen. "wouldn't we want to be preventative instead of treatment" YES - agreed. Thank you again!

I want to be vaccinated, I would get Novavax today if I could.
