These are unintentional ASMR videos..which are the best types and makes for good sleeping. The only drawback is his "Hey man" segment which ruins the ASMR feel.
The heavy sigh after your parody of a viewer complaint of how you “threw” the bag struck a chord ......isn’t it amazing how many self appointed experts comment? Your patience and tolerance of those whiners is to commended.
Absolutely adore your videos Steve :) as a guy who grew up in a workshop doing engraving, and as a guy who's a total perfectionist, I love watching you work and you're a true master and very humble, you're not boring us at all no matter what you're doing I could watch all day long and I do, I'm just sad I only discovered you 2 weeks ago, I've missed out on this for all this time 😁 well done on your beautiful work and your choices on the fly of how to fix things always turn out beautiful, your intuition is right on point 🙏😊 hello from ireland by the way :)
Steve, another vote or gentle suggestion to simply roll your eyes when you see trolls negative comments. Who cares what some stranger thinks or says? You have to expect that negativity when you post your videos. Clearly a lot of folks never heard the expression "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all".. 😉
Thanks for taking the time to make this video while you are so busy. You really have a passion for purses. You should give up shoes and jackets so you can do what you really enjoy. 🤣
I love that you bring all these old items back to life, so much is disposable now, whether it be shoes, bags or jackets I enjoy watching a craftsman at work. Keep up the great work.
I disagree, the point of purchasing high end products is supposed to be superior quality goods, not just the "brand" the Gucci and louis vuitton names are supposed to be synonymous with high quality.ive habits a louis vuitton speedy for 40 years it's in bad shape because I didn't take care of it at all lol...but I doubt an other bag would hold up for 40 years
Hi Steve,I found your channel yesterday and I'm addicted lol I cannot stop watching your videos...and I'm pulling out old bags that I just refused to throw away,I thought they were trash.i even have a Gucci reparations major fail.im gathering bags and deciding which to send first.you are a wonderful and professional I am a new fan❤❤
Hi Steve! LOVE all your videos, and you've inspired me to start restoration. My first project, restoring a vintage Hermes Garden Party tote bag. Would you mind sharing what glue you use for leather-to-leather adhesion, leather-to-lining adhesion, and overall leather conditioning? Thanks a million, and Happy Holidays!!
Steve!!! Nice work! Especially on the third (black) bag. Again and again you prove You Da Man! when it comes to leather work. Thank you so much for sharing your skills with us! You always make my day when I see you've posted a new video. (This is a big thing when you're stuck working from home.)
Good luck to you in the next few weeks! Don't forget to breathe and take rests! Really excited to see that Chanel get redone. My goodness that poor bag. lol
Besides looking at the work you are doing I am also looking at your work stations and I am impressed. The layout is nice. I've been thinking about you telling us viewers the price of the repairs after someone commented I believe this to be a good idea. I now know how to speak with my cobbler and the approximate price the work maybe. And to ask a lot of questions so there are no mistakes made. Thanks for the videos.
Great video 🤗 🌹 I'm sure that your costumer is werry happy, she kept her bags because she loves them. 😊 🌹 Great job, your restauration is so so Tru to the design. 👍💯🌹 Be safe and take care. Big hugs from stine, from Denmark 🇩🇰 🌹 🌺 🥰 💝 🌺
I particularly liked your solution to the adjustable strap. It showed your ingenuity, and the handbag looked wonderful. Miracles do happen...at Bedo's Leatherworks LLC!!!
Previously I had zero interest in ladies bags but you’ve made them interesting Steve! I like the speeded up video as it shows more of the process than we’d normally see. 👍🏻
Hello Steve.🙋🏿♀️ Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃.🍗 When you take those so called designer bags apart, I be in total shock how cheaply they are actually made.by the way awesome job ‼️👏👏👏👏👏👏👏.
As Steve awesome loved the sped up video bits, have a wonderful Thanks Giving with your family our very best wishes from Lockdown Reading England 🏴 xx❤️
Hi Steve from bedos leather works! Been watching a long time and you do fine work and when I buy my first pair of fine shoes from the thift store you will be the one that takes them to brand new status. Respect
Good day Steve! And happy thanksgivings to u and ur family! I hope u have the best and safest turkey day. I so enjoy watching you from coastal SC Surfside Beach SC! I’m thinking of getting my wife and I Schott leather Jackets for x-mas for our travels out west to look at log homes in Colorado. Or my home state of NM...I recently found that my ancestors are pueblos from northern /northwest New Mexico...so away we go! U take care man! We appreciate all ur work ,dedication, and perseverance of the so-called-ppl, that feel they must respond negatively! “Let’s Continue!”
Steve best wishes for a blessed Thanksgiving with your family! Thanks for letting us look over your shoulder again. Most relaxing time for us in a year of trouble and turmoil.
Always nice to see the handbag videos--looking forward to the upcoming remake of that damaged Chanel bag. Can't believe people are still commenting on your hands. Apparently they are unfamiliar with what a worker's hands look like. To quote "Truisms": "People who don't work with their hands are parasites."
Love, love, love your videos. This is such a great thing that you do -otherwise these wouldn’t be useable and might end up being discarded. As you’ve said, many of these bags have sentimental value and are also an investment so the owner will get more use from them. I also love your “complainer” voice, too funny 😂
Some people are NOT happy....unless they are moaning about something. Shaky hands, sharpening re-useable blades or whatever. My hands shake and I also resharpen re-useable blades doing my projects. Like you I deal with it and sharpen blades also. Dont let them grind you down. Your work is fantastic. Shine on bro
Is there anything a person who owns a bag like these (that are being repaired) can do to prevent the wear and tear? Just asking. I want to take care of my leather possessions and I figured an expert at repairing them can tell us how to care for them. The deterioration of the lining is a direct result of the materials used. But the piping? Can that be protected?
On the Gucci bag, it was a good idea to sandwich the elasticated strap with nylon, but the stitching on the green should match the color of the strap so it disappears. Small gripe, but other than that, you did an excellent job on all the bags!
Hey Steve!......love your videos! I do have a question for you, do you ever get to that point of stopping for the day because you get that feeling that, if you don't stop, you'll start messing up your work? I make reproduction Indian war shirts and the Beadwork itself takes me 3 months to do. I sense when to stop and when to keep working and not loose the workmanship. You truly are a master craftsman.......howdy from Branson Missouri!
I can't answer for Steve but can for myself. I have been sewing since I was a kid and can tackle just about any job from buttons to invisible mending to tailoring. And sometimes I get *this* close to done and just know that if I try to finish I'm going to make a muck of it. Step away, take a break, come back later. Or wish I had! Sometimes getting a good result depends on listening to that inner warning to step away Now.
This is why "name brand" items don't excite me. For the money they charge, it should all be made with quality real leather. The quality is much better when you repair it Steve. Thanks for sharing your gift. Your father would be very proud of you.
I was watching one of ur old videos last night. In which u mentioned that u r originally from Lebanon, than I realised why do I like ur videos and ur voice so much. I have a soft corner for Lebanese people, my only girl friend was from Lebanon.
Where do you purchase materials, such as gucci shoulder strap in this video. But for in general, where can I purchase legit meterials, linings, metal parts and such, not Chinese knock offs. I do leather crafting for fun, but I would like to produce quality items for myself. Your video helped and helps a lot for me learning things about leather works. Thank you.
Hey Man !!!! You need a long weekend Steve. Now... when it's snack time, grab a dinner roll, slap a little mayo on, chunk a piece of turkey on, scoop some cranberry sauce onto it, and some fresh ground black pepper. Killer sammich !! Better make two, they're small. Those bags were lookin' foul ! LOL Lookin' forward to seein' how that black on turns out. Have a very good/restful Thanksgiving.
Gucci used to be the bag, but LV has overtaken them all. I got a gorgeous Gucci bag on Mercari, the girl listed it for $18. Blue bag, and that's it. Gucci, immaculate, all mid blue leather with 3 buckles on each side. I'm happy.
Since I started sharpening them, after this good gentleman talked about it, I stopped seeing them as disposable and man does my blade cut, since I know its sharp I don't get sudden snags when cutting because its become 'abit to dull' . Taking care of all the little details makes the whole or something.
It amazing how calming these videos are! I love seeing things being restored, specifically handbags since I collect them. TFS and great job!
These are unintentional ASMR videos..which are the best types and makes for good sleeping. The only drawback is his "Hey man" segment which ruins the ASMR feel.
Id love it if you'd show the cleaning and moisturizing more often
The heavy sigh after your parody of a viewer complaint of how you “threw” the bag struck a chord ......isn’t it amazing how many self appointed experts comment? Your patience and tolerance of those whiners is to commended.
I do not think you talk too much in your videos, the calm way you talk, the sound and tone of your voice to make your videos unique and soothing.
If someone comments that you spelt your company name wrong (Leatherwotks), just say that its Armenian spelling.
I threw my Gucci away when it cracked around the handles, didn’t know it could have been repaired.
These videos have made me realize that, in general, handbags that cost more than a used car aren’t really that special.
Great jobs as usual, Steve!
Your vids are therapy for a lot of us - don’t forget to take care of yourself.
Thank u , I actually thanked him earlier on a next video. He’s my pandemic therapist..!!!! Truly appreciate his kind spirit n calming personality. ❤️
these vids are actually awesome. seriously love watching these at night. hope him and his family are doing well, really seems like a great guy

while I agree with the sentiments, I would miss the voice he uses to mock the critics 😂😂😂
People have too much time Steve 🤣always blabla, nice project thx for the time and vlog 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️look out whit your blades 🤣see you next time
Really appreciate your practical and tasteful solutions to address the damages and problems of these customer projects.
Thanks for taking the time to make this video while you are so busy. You really have a passion for purses. You should give up shoes and jackets so you can do what you really enjoy. 🤣

My day is complete...."The Voice" makes an appearance. LOL
Their lining material seems to always fall apart. They should use real leather at the price they are asking.
There is no point, they sell to people that buy brands, not quality. Why hurt profits when people will still buy it?
I disagree, the point of purchasing high end products is supposed to be superior quality goods, not just the "brand" the Gucci and louis vuitton names are supposed to be synonymous with high quality.ive habits a louis vuitton speedy for 40 years it's in bad shape because I didn't take care of it at all lol...but I doubt an other bag would hold up for 40 years

3 more restoration triumphs! Those black corner pieces designed for the 1st bag are perfect, they actually improve the look.
Always good to see new examples of your craft. Love the work!

After your video about your sharpening of the disposal blade I decided to give it a go on my scalpel blades I use,so thankyou for the idea.
Steve, You did an excellent job on all the bags. Well worth the money you charge. Those bags now have years and years of more use. GREAT JOB!
