- Day 2 of my adventure along the Berwickshire Coastal Path was nothing short of spectacular, with breath-taking views, rugged cliffs, and rich wildlife along the route from St Abbs to Berwick-upon-Tweed.
Starting in the charming village of St Abbs, known for its picturesque harbour and dramatic coastal scenery, the path took me past the stunning St Abbs Head Nature Reserve, home to seabird colonies and panoramic ocean views. Walking further south, the route winds through secluded coves, past Eyemouth’s historic harbour, and along the dramatic cliffs of the North Sea coast, finally arriving in the historic town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. Along the way, I encountered plenty of wildlife, historic ruins, and some of the most scenic landscapes Scotland has to offer.
Whether you're an avid hiker or a casual walker, this section of the path is a must-see for anyone visiting the region.
