Hello Paul. The Aquadry material used in the jacket is very good. I used this on longer day hikes with full pack on ascents and descents and it performed well for breathability and also wind resistance. Hope this helps. David.

Hello, great to hear from you. When walking in the jacket it was about -2 with some wind chill, and I was too hot. It is great for stops in cold and wind chilled weather conditions. I stopped in -2 with high wind chill for a fuel stop and it worked really well for this. David.

Just ordered my third one , my favourite top of all time , very comfortable, warm and of course lightweight, wish they would do one in a burgundy red 😊👍👍

Hello I was walking in lower digit temperatures and they performed well. If you are walking they will perform well at lower temperatures, if you are stationary for some period you may need to layer up. David.

Hello Nick Good to hear from you. The video shows a true representation of the walk, and the cliff paths mentioned in the official site guide refer to the final stage leading into Spital and Berwick itself. You get some great views from these paths, but they are not on the edge of the clifs with steep drops, and are well set back. Hello Its a great jacket. If you will be using it with a pack on you will generate quite a bit of heat. If you are walking without a pack and it is going to be cold and windy when you are walking, it could be worth considering. Best of luck finding a replacement for your RAB. David.

Hello. I would say that the heal width is similar or slightly wider than the Rush GTX. The weight of the boots is very good in the markey place. Comfort wise is very similar. The performace is up there with the Rush GTX. I have not reviewed the Merrel Moab boot, so cannot comment. Hope this helps. David

@@planwatchwalk thanks, what about amortization and overall comfort in Dolomite's boots? And do you see in practice any difference between Gore-tex membrain versions in Dolomite and Scarpa boots? (Invisible fit vs extended comfort). Now i decided to buy something lighter like this Dolomite boots, and now search info about Adidas Terrex Free hiker 2 GTX

@@defencee Hello The Dolomite boot is very lightweight and performs as well as other GTX boots. One of the best test is to walk through wet grass for some miles, and these boots performed well in this test. Hope this helps David.

@@MHA-jk7yj That is about the right time for the ealk. It tiiok me a little longer as i was a;lso filiming diuring the walk. The walk is realively flat, so you dont need to make any compensation forascending hils etc. David
