I’m not saying every time but sometimes I do hit! now, for example, my shooting, sometimes I look at the snap of the wrist where the ball is at above my head other times when I shoot better, I looked at the elbow. I try to release the ball before the elbow goes all the way through with the follow of the jumpshot and nine out of 10 I hit that more deny, hit with the looking at the wrist of the jumpshot so sometimes it’s better to look at different body parts like don’t always look at the ball in the wrist. All city bro, i felt the shooting change post patch aswell. I was shooting way better in season 1 and was getting better with the stick shooting too. After season 2 patch, i cant even green with my stick as I used (i stopped shooting with stick alltogether in season 2). I missing like wide open shots, making 5/30 shots in 1v1 court wen left wide open on threes (its very embarasing and I admit I am not that good in this game), I am winning 1 game out of every 5 games i play. Its not fun anymore. I try to do dunk and it makes me do layup (try it on drills for Rise up Badge in team practice, I always get 1 star). Try to do post hook/dropstep and make you do post hop shot. There are too many controls in one key. I loved playing cages/airball and i have been playing only that game mode since I started playin 2k in 2k20. For some reason they just completely got that game mode out and its not in old gen anymore. I thought i'll try and learn to play regular mode and get better with practice but its a learning curve after learning curve. Man i m just tryna play and have a fun but it starts to feel more like a job, that I dont get paid for. This probably gonna be my last 2k.
I shot above 60% last season mainly playing PG on a high three ball. This season I'm at 60% on a 75 three ball build at the PF. I'm getting mainly catch and shoots this season so I feel like low three ball is definitely viable on spot ups
I have a Switchable lockdown defender. 92 interior 92 perimeter 85 block and most importantly… a 45 3 (now 50) greens fill as consistent as my 94 three ball build.
I'm shooting 60% from 3 after 60 REC games with rhythm shooting. I attempt about 4+ 3s a game. I just do my best to lock in to the push of my shot and use muscle memory for the tempo part and it works for me.
I feel like day one of the season 2 patch, the devs opened up the wide open green window to a point where everyone could hit anything wide open. I think they toned it down. I want them to make A.I.'s shoot like Curry again. All I see is zone defense in the 5v5 mode, and players freelance off the AI all day with no consequences. Lastly, if my whole team quits out...2k should remove all the animations and scripted events that punish players for calling for the ball too much. Once everyone quits there should be an administrative timeout that pretty much turns on the old school team takeover or play now settings.
24 was the best 2k from start to last day till 25 man I agree 25 badge system is why certain folks don’t like it 25 takeover With mixture of some badges 24 &25 game of the year No input delay day 1
99 3pt shot should mean "makes 99% of open shots". make the contest system better so a 20% contest the 99 still makes 80% vs someone with 60% now only has a 40% chance.
I have a pg with 99 3ball and a center with a 75. The difference in shooting is massive. 2k labs must’ve tested rating alone instead of including badges that come with a 99 3ball.
I was having fun when this game came out and i was excited about where the game could go from season 1. I was excited for the grind for Tmac. To me season one was the best 2k has been in years and I was eager to see what season 2 would bring. Season 2 came and I couldn't believe it. It has been the opposite of season one in every way. The gameplay has been horrendous. I thought the level 40 reward was a weird choice, especially since the first level 40 was so spectacular. Since the first pro pass player was so good, I assumed the season 2 player would be good too and unfortunately, kat has not played good for me. I don't understand it, it's almost like they tanked their own game. The gameplay, rewards, everything. And the most embarrassing thing for me, i have spent like 700 dollars since launch, trying to get players. Last night was the first diamond i got all year and I got him in a base pack that I bought with coins.😢 I don't understand it, the first season felt so good, and now I dread even turning the game on.
I’ve always been a stick shooter, so rhythm shooting was a breeze to get used to. It was perfect initially. After the patch, it was garbage. I had to go back to stick shooting (no rhythm) and had to slow my shot release down. I’m shooting well again but it’s VERY streaky. 24 was horrendous definitely the worst game they ever made. 25 is way better than that but still not very good compared to some of the games of the past
They need to fix the rebound steals. It’s annoying getting a rebound as a big and soon as you get the board everybody spamming you and they dry just get the steal
2k need to take out the white jumpshots. People are constantly hitting slightly early or late, that’s not even counting the thumb stick shooting. If the release is not green should not go in.
I also believe NBA players are having to much influence over gameplay. They was getting dropped off with their 99 overall and HOF every badge they started to complain about gameplay.
I quit the game the week after “post patch” was shooting 50s% first season and after patch I dropped to 30s% …. Game isn’t worth my stress. Go outside. Play some real ball. This game isn’t good for your mental health. And I’ve been playing 2K for yearssss. They don’t want nothing but your pocket change.
I missed 2k20 so much I had the best 2k experience out all of the 2k games I have played over the years I skipped 2k25 I refuse to waste money on a game that’s just going to keep taking your money and over charging for a forever changing game
@ that’s a fact I loved getting on my 2 way slashing playmaker that could basically do everything, I would do anything to play 20 instead of an trash ass RNG game
I got 90 rec games played & 60 park games. In park I'm 54% 4rm 3. In rec within my first 60 games I was 55%. Within the last 30 games, I've dropped to 48%! My PG has a 89 3pt, SG Lock 83 3pt, & BE Sf 75 3pt. I gave up on this damn game. Forever changing unnecessary 💩
Supposedly teammate game is updated on a minute by minute basis. The teammate grade probably updated when the shot hit. If you look at the stat board during games you'll see your teammate grade isn't always consistent it's pending update always.
I have been shooting around the same percentage (60-65% from three) since 2K25 dropped. I upgraded my first build no money spent 💵 and the VC I’m getting in game is going towards my second / perfect build.
Bro 2k25 is the worst 2k ever because I can’t even play online without getting an error code and getting a force loss in any online mode. Other people have had this mostly since the season 2 patch but I’ve had this since early tip-off day 1 and I have over 200+ losses due to this error alone and I’ve reported it and 2k won’t take accountability and they say it’s my internet and now people are reporting it every where. I had to be the first person to report it because I posted the issue on the official discord over a month ago and got no upvotes and now this month I’m finally getting upvotes. At least in 2k21 I could play the game but 2k25 is worse because you can’t play online at all and you are restricted to single player modes because of this error every game
I make low 3 balls builds since 23... i just use the middy to unlock the base, and its cheaper IMO. I can feel the difference tho... i make a 99 3 ball Sharp every year as well, so i can really speak on it. Its viable, but you really gotta know your shot.
Im shooting 50-60% in rec and park.... I miss the confidence in knowing my shot timing.... and it changes at the worst time.... mainly when we have the lead I go from shooting 4/5 to 5/10, watching every cue and its like the green window shifts back and forth from late to early no matter the compensation I adjusted for.... this rewrapped RNG mechanic is the worst idea 2k has ever had to cater to casuals not getting blown tf out.
I was definitely shooting better before the patch. I had to adjust the shot speed after the patch. RNG is definitely in full effect. I’ll go 6/7 and 5/5 in back to back games and then not be able to hit anything wide open the 3rd game. I’ve also had multiple games where I start out 5/5 from 3 and then miss 2-3 in row with takeover. It makes no sense
Great post as usual. However, I feel like the head honchos at 2k are fking up the game on purpose. With so many people sharing their concerns and disdain for the game, it helps to build up the hype for the next iteration with hopes that it will get better, thus continuing the cycle. It really is like playing slot machines… continually losing but coming right back to play again. Folks really gotta stop playing/buying this garbage OR just accept it and stop making public complaints. Just my opinion.
Question: Do you play , play now online? And you feel that 2k dictate your shot making in a green or white window? 2nd question do feel you have control of your shot?
i average 26ppg and shoot 60% from 3pt in pro am. that’s slightly less than last season, but not by a lot. I don’t really notice a difference. 6’4” SG w 93 3pt for some context.
The buff wasn’t a lie, BUT they did make it more inconsistent. Sometimes a guy hits red tight earlys on me but for the rest of the game goes 2/7 like… make it make sense
This is by far the worst game they’ve ever made, so much so I deleted it between the crashing, being banned for no reason, and not getting any of the level rewards half the time, And then them constantly patching things that turn around and screw up other good facets of the game. I just don’t see myself bothering with them until they get their heads out of their rear ends. This is honestly the first year that I have had an issue with shooting normally I’m 70% or better and for the first couple days of the game I was hitting I mean, I was really hitting and I couldn’t have been happier with the game but these last few months it’s kind of felt like no matter how many times I adjust to their adjustments relearn my shot it just doesn’t seem to matter this last month. I’ve dropped from 76.7% three ball shot percentage down to like 36 and I’m just utterly disappointed in the game. 2K 24 I had over 2000 hours invested in it and I’ve got about 1200 invested into 25 and like I said I deleted the game. And I honestly don’t see myself re-downloading it. Hopefully they’ll do better on 26, but at this point sadly I think I’m done with this franchise. it seems like it’s just copy and paste and the rewards really aren’t anything new or eye catching, I mean, the cap breakers in the VC or cool, but like you said in the video there isn’t much difference between a 60 ball and a 99 I’ve never had a 99 highest I’ve ever gone for a three ball is anywhere from 90 to 94 and like you said there’s only a 10% difference, it’s so frustrating.
One game I’m hitting 80% from 3, the next not even 20%… Makes no sense!

They been hot fixing every day this week so sliders and settings are seeing slight changes. Anytime it says go to main menu for update you’re getting a hot fix. These ppl don’t know what they are doing
@@ramblenationcuatroveinte6747 it’s crazy they go thur the same shit every year. They need to stop putting out 2k every year and do like COD do have the base game and just update it every year.
@@jamessumrell5171 they need to stop yearly and make it like Fortnite. Roster updates every year slight changes here and there but keep it consistent. They won’t listen they love this broken don’t worry we will fix it approach it’s a degenerate way to make money. Have us beta test till Xmas and then it’s good luck kid. Dog shit company with no good business ethics
It’s annoying one day you’re enjoying the game the next you want to pull your hair out
All city bro, i felt the shooting change post patch aswell.
2K22 best next gen 2K 💯
I shot above 60% last season mainly playing PG on a high three ball. This season I'm at 60% on a 75 three ball build at the PF.
I'm getting mainly catch and shoots this season so I feel like low three ball is definitely viable on spot ups
“3pt is too expensive”
✨Cap breakers✨
Didnt even buy this game and I do not regret it for one minute. Still on 2k24. Games more active than ever before. Guess people quitting 25 in waves.
24 was the best 2k from start to last day till 25 man
I agree
25 badge system is why certain folks don’t like it
25 takeover
With mixture of some badges 24 &25 game of the year
No input delay day 1
Dunks are broken now too. You might miss a wide open dunk now too 😖
Them streamers on long win streaks are probably streaking by joining no squad courts with a squad
2k24 and 2k20 are my two favorite 2ks in recent history
99 3pt shot should mean "makes 99% of open shots". make the contest system better so a 20% contest the 99 still makes 80% vs someone with 60% now only has a 40% chance.
The teammate grade issue happens in rec too…. It’s horrible
I’m tired of going into THEATER GAMES MY SQUADS KEEPS GETTING SEPARATED NOW WE GOTTA TAKE 30 MIN BAN BECAUSE WE DONT WANNA PLAY WITH RANDOMS
I did i went from shooting 47% to 57%. Im loving it!!!
It’s weird as hell I can’t shit with my big anymore but my guard I’m striking more consistently..
Eyebrows on fleek ALLCity 👌
Once the patch happen I was shooting good ! Couple days later I couldn’t hit not 1 shot this is insane
I feel like I'm bricking after the patch. They should have just left shooting alone
I dunno but button shooting got buffed heavily having games dropping 40-50 points shooting 11-12 from 3.. it feels like 24 again.
48% With a 65 3PT PG and 52% with a 82 3PT SG but my middy is 90+ on both.
City dropping yet again another banger💪🏾💪🏾
I quit the game the week after “post patch” was shooting 50s% first season and after patch I dropped to 30s% …. Game isn’t worth my stress. Go outside. Play some real ball. This game isn’t good for your mental health. And I’ve been playing 2K for yearssss. They don’t want nothing but your pocket change.
NBA 2K20 was definitely the best 2K I’ve played imo
Facts
I liked 24 for the skill dunk logic and shooting but some reason people do not like it i even think the contest system was better
That’s just sad, 20 wass above average at best
I still read comments that say…I didn’t have to spend that much this weekend 🤦🏾♂️blows my mind
Shooting was definitely buffed. I’ve gone from 52% 3 to 58%.
2k15 and 2k16 was the best 2k hands down. 2k17 was a copy in paste game for people who didn’t know
Brick-Brick-green-green-speed up green-speed up Brick-Brick just dunk the ball lol 😆 😂 🤣
I have been shooting around the same percentage (60-65% from three) since 2K25 dropped. I upgraded my first build no money spent 💵 and the VC I’m getting in game is going towards my second / perfect build.
Starting off Season 2 I started off Shooting 85 percent from 3 now after the suppose to be buff now I'm down to the low 60s that's crazy work
There’s always that game where I will shoot slightly late no matter how I time it after hitting almost every three last game
I spark up with rhythm shooting, my only problem is that the insane latency in the rec keeps me from using it there
All the big patch literally did was help the people who couldn’t shoot and the people who already could shoot. It made them shoot worse.
Ngl bro it’s just u like I’ll admit sometimes I get disconnected but that’s like 3/100 games or sum
Bricking after the patch is for real AllCity and I use rhythm shooting.
Been bricking everything. Literally went from 54 percent shooting to 37 in one week
I've been saying this!! I knew I wasn't crazy!
I have a inside big, and a casual player good thing i don't have these problems over a video game.
Not having 2k11 on the list is INSANE
Bro the auto miss after u go 4/4 from the 3 is crazy it’s like u have to glitch the game to shoot consistently
I'm currently at 63% from 3pt in the city and 59% in rec.
i average 26ppg and shoot 60% from 3pt in pro am. that’s slightly less than last season, but not by a lot.
I don’t really notice a difference.
6’4” SG w 93 3pt for some context.
I started shooting worse after the patch. Before was shooting like 60% in Rec and about 50-40% after with an 85 3 pointer.
