The manufacturers have found a glitch-in-the-matrix. They pop-out super-expensive rigs for small ALT coin miners at ridiculous prices. Then the hashrate tanks yield. They do this because they know suckers are out there who will buy these things. Time to stick with more well established algos which have much smaller impact on yield.
The problem with these asic's is your very lucky if you ROI before the miner gets updated or starts to fail with a hash board going down, the only winner is the manufacturer really. Its us hardware investors that are always at a loss a lot of the time. I really hope that anybody who buys these asics do manage to break even at least. A lot of these coins pump as everyone gets involved then go slowly down as everybody sell and they don't seem to recover very well. Thanks for your update it's good for new people in the crypto world to learn about these Asics before they go and buy one.
When you start doing the math the hobby miner can see how expensive it can be to get the miner they want. The manufacturer of these miners are guessing or hoping that the customers aren't doing the math and living on FOMO.
Don't worry Vosk, with the coins you'll mine over the next 6 months you'll only need a 3 or 4x on alph to more or less break even... doesn't seem too crazy. Keep pushing! Maybe if the mining stuff is getting you down it might be time to start thinking about the solar buildout, after taking some chips in the next run?
Bitmain has already been running this machine for months, now the difficulty has gone up they flog the miners ....by the time we get them it's old hat 😢
@VoskCoin , You left your original dream behind. You could have built a 100K-200K Solar Farm with efficient GPU & CPU miners, and you would have been much more successful. Heck, even 30K worth of GPU's would be a better investment than that Alph miner right now.
I feel your pain! I am sticking with established algo's now! Scrypt is where it's at IMO. Maybe not the most profitable (today), but way more stable than the newbies with their ever-increasing hashrate and aggressive emissions schedule
I love my cheap little space heaters, but ill stick with just buying the coin from here on. There's way better ways to invest your money at this point.
The shiny new toy is not always best. Examine fundamentals and make your best educated guess. Sometimes you will get it wrong, but there's also plenty of wins you don't get if you are too cautious.
Same here stuck with the revenu keeps dropping off ! Keep smiling and let's hope we can make some money on the side with the coin. Thanks for the video and Cheers
We all make mistakes. I'll never break even on KAS miners 🤷♂ I'm looking into simple solar to make the useless rigs I have now less useless and I've been suggesting you do too. ;) Spend less on hardware and more on making what we already have more profitable instead.
I think the miner manufacturers are in the mining business too, competing with us before they bend us over and sell them to us. This could be stopped if it were made public which manufacturers are actively mining too. One think that really surprises me is how little information is leaked from the manufacturers. If this were a US business, we'd know every time the CEO went to the bathroom. It's drastic, but this will stop when we stop buying them.
Just tuned in to a few older episodes and you've helped me learn alot in a brief time here watching your content. It sucks to see the marked not supporting the investment, but keep it up!
After the Bitmain S9 came out I stopped buying Asic Miners. Mined a large sum of Bitcoin from the very early days to year after the S9. Now I buy Coins instead of mining much better return. Manufactures take advantage of the hobby miner and give big discounts to the very large mining farms now. Nice to see a miner with passion for it like I once had. For all your Asic losers you will have a few winners that make the difference. Keep up the great work. I always like what you bring to the world.
Maybe you could also if possible place solar panels to collect free energy. Or some kind of windmill.. bidk where you live.... Invest dual to reduce costs as you invest in new miners also only increase electricity bill
Man all you guys all over the world go on about about miner profit as bad as it is. But get this in the UK we pay about .033c (0.24p) KWh! Mining anything is flushing money down the toilet!
Algún día BTC llegara a 1 Millón. Solo es cuestión de tiempo. No confio en ninguna otra criptomoneda. Thing is its...not a 30k miner, more than a 7500k miner. But if people paid 30 grand for it ....well good luck :). Dont buy even the al3 till it hits 6-7k (it will). Personally i wont even if it hits 5k. Better get 6-7 AL0 gradually and that even is debatable.
lol just laughed when you mention that someone just posted the price from 30k to 12k. Same thing happened to me like I bought KS5L at 4k but now it's at 1.9k
@jasonrhody2429 only thing that has moved is bitcoin, I've been here for 7 years, no coin is even close to any previous ath, unless it's bitcoin. So this is still a bear market
Sometimes you just have to accept the fact that you fooked up! It's time to move on & stop bit@hing about it, no one wants to watch that video after video....
😂😂 I think pretty much all the architect's of these chains " Fork Off" eventually😂, sorry m8, your words not mine. Freudian slip by any chance.? I'm not laughing at You, just funny how it came out.👍
I've stopped mining due to higher electricty costs and lower coin value right now. Honestly, mining is only profitable for people with access to extreremely cheap or free electrity. even at 0.05 cents kWh still not that good over time.
Iceriver Alph miner is overpriced at 12k. manufacturers think the coin will appreciate in value so fleece you for it. ALPH has already done it moon run. these asics are to late to the party.

I bought 3 AL1 Pro .. Just think what I'd be going through ..

don't count me out yet, I was just spray painting a solar array 5 minutes ago lol
Saw it coming after buying Ks3 from bitmain near the top

Ha! I got a couple of those space heaters from a few months ago. Got one for my bro, and one for myself.
Hi Brother it's me again. Just wanted to let you know new Ethash miner will come soon 😊
Red Panda said, "Don't dig for Gold, sell the shovels."
he doesn't listen to that advice lol

AL1 costs $10,400 now... it was 30k over a month ago.

If your mining these coins how do you exchange them for something else?

30K...oof. That's painful. Fuck it. Keep forging ahead. Stuff happens. Go big, or go home!

u are the best crypto video creator ever.
that's a huge compliment, really appreciate it
lol just laughed when you mention that someone just posted the price from 30k to 12k. Same thing happened to me like I bought KS5L at 4k but now it's at 1.9k
it may lok bad right now ... never give up it'll get better your channel is the only one i watch that's about mining cryptocu😅
Man, crypto is fucked right now. Hopefully I can outlast this bear market😢 but it's getting bleek
😂 just a dip in the current bull market not even close to a bear market. Stick around for a bit lol
@jasonrhody2429 only thing that has moved is bitcoin, I've been here for 7 years, no coin is even close to any previous ath, unless it's bitcoin. So this is still a bear market
@jasonrhody2429 even with the price of bitcoin, every btc miner is only making like 6 bucks a day.
I can show you how to eliminate your electricity cost legally

Tell me whos related with crypto and not being greedy from the companieros to miners
I've stopped mining due to higher electricty costs and lower coin value right now. Honestly, mining is only profitable for people with access to extreremely cheap or free electrity. even at 0.05 cents kWh still not that good over time.
I think u would have been better off only buying bitcoin miners.
Like on long term almost none miners were profitable tbh besides bitcoin mining.
Why bother with mining atm. Not the time in my opinion to invest. You can earn more with buying a bag of 30K and wait for the pump.
I hope this works out for you Vosk but in all honesty the whole Mining Market it’s a Sham
You can’t make money on bitcoin mining now.
8k today wow
Iceriver Alph miner is overpriced at 12k. manufacturers think the coin will appreciate in value so fleece you for it. ALPH has already done it moon run. these asics are to late to the party.
Wow you look tired.
