These are so awesome. The easy assembly/disassembly is so important to me. I'm a ways out from getting my snake, but I am super pumped to get one of these.. and attach a second one when they get big enough!
Another tip, just because the side panel screw doors are down doesn't mean the door rails are in the front. I have to take mine apart after I put it together the first time lol.
Great question! To make your 4x2x4 Meridian enclosure bioactive, sealing the corners and edges with silicone is definitely a good step to help prevent moisture from leaking. We recommend using 100% silicone that’s safe for animals. Additionally, you can add a drainage layer, proper substrate, and live plants to create a thriving bioactive environment. Just ensure the enclosure has proper ventilation and humidity levels to support your plants and animals!
Can we order the metal door wraps by themselves? I have two 4x2x4 Zen Habitats that I’ve had since before you added that feature and I have had to be creative about securing the doors because my snakes have gotten out between the sliders more than once. I would love to be able to add the wraps now.
Hi Lori, You can reach out to our support team for help with the possibility of getting the door wraps. You can email them at support@zenhabitats.com. Someone will be in touch ASAP.
What size are the “little tiny screws”? Our order didn’t include them and we are hoping to just go to a hardware store and purchase ourself. Thank you!
Sorry it took a minute for us to respond! The screws are 1/2 inch. We are super sorry for the inconvenience. If there are any further issues, please reach out to support@zenhabitats.com
Not an easy assembly at all. Nothing lined up properly and when I finally managed to get the first four screws in that's when it really went to shit. I position it upright and try to slide the substrate shield in and whoops it won't slide in. I try to wiggle it in and it collapses on me, damaging the screen on top so now I can't even fucking use it for my snake. Absolute waste of 500 hundred fucking dollars, I am beyond pissed.
Thank you! This made our new enclosure so easy to put together!

How can I adapt this to make it suitable for a bioactive enclosure? Would silicone in all the corners and edges work?

What is the red tape for that comes with this enclosure?
That is the double-sided tape that allows you to stick your substrate shield on the inside of your enclosure!
