    We bought one for $41k last year. It's been a great car. Has big power and we get around 50 mpg. Typically put about 6 gallons of gas each fill up. Nice to road trip. No problems. We feel like we're driving a secret weapon.

    Nice review! I just leased a ‘24 R/T in white myself. Really liking it so far. When you push up or down on the blinkers lightly, it will give three blinks. Push either direction a little further and that will make the blinkers stay on and work like normal / as expected.

      @@ayee4765 I’m loving it so far. Had a couple issues with a dead battery that was making the electronics go crazy but since they put a new battery in, all has been good and as it should.
      It’s just a really fun car to drive, quick as hell with unique styling which I like.

    If you have it in sports mode and squeeze both paddle shifters at the same time it gives you an extra 30 hp for 8-10 seconds.

    Modern Alfas have been pretty reliable. I’d trust one over a Jeep. Most of the issues I read about with Alfa are the dealers.

    A Dodge made by Alfa Romeo... hard to imagine anything of worse quality. Hard pass.

    I Love Your review!Im thinking of buying one!Some People worry about Longevity and Reliability!I say why do so many people buy different cars!Have you ever seen a movie and you Loved it and Someone else sated it sucked?!Toyota got Recalls on The New Tundra’s and not everyone is happy with Four cylinder Turbo,A lot of people aren’t Happy with Recalls with Acura and Hondas 1.5 Turbo and on and on!No one wants to buy a Lemon!But,Not everyone has $40,000 and can pay $750 a month for a Freaking Car!!But,buying something that’s reasonable and affordable!Sensible Wheels!Something that’s going to have a Warranty for at least 5 Years They cover it!I would consider it!Why?Because There are Tons of them and you can get them for $25,000(Basic!)GT!!But,Their Dealing the R/T too(Hybrid)Sometimes You gotta do what ya gotta do!Sometimes it Leads You to an uncharted Road!No everyone can afford a $45-$60,000 Toyota or Lexus!Thanks for Your Excellent Review!

    Dodge is absolutely horrible as a normal carmaker when you factor out their muscle cars. The Hornet is further proof of this. I don’t see Dodge lasting another 10 years in business.

      Yeah Stellantis has way to many brands.
      Dodge, Chrysler, and Ram as brands feel so hollow and dont have any investment.
      Jeep has a lot of issues as well and their models arent selling. But that Jeep brand name will keep it going no matter what.

      @@baronvonjo1929Ram and Jeep are doing decent, maybe Chrysler too thanks to the Pacifica, but that’s it for Stellantis in the US imo. I think they’re doing better in the EU with their other brands

    Sat in one of these recently. My impression was its interior is smaller than I thought it would be, the build quality feels like it’s going to fall apart in 5 years, but the BIG aluminum paddle shifters are wonderful!

      I agree not for a compact SUV the Honda CRV hybrid is cheaper than this! I could buy a used Charger or Challenger for that price and have something with far more horsepower but this ridiculous U.S government wants to shove EVs down our throats

    If you think your sound system sounds good you should hear the one in my Hornet. Its the Harmon Kardon premium surround sound. It sounds absolutely fantastic!!!

    Saw these locally. They're alright looking, but some of them are have a sticker price north of $50K. No one is buying these at these ridiculous prices...

    You were the one that reported to us that the PHEV is the most unreliable drivetrain according to consumer reports and the most unreliable car is a Stelantis phev is the most unreliable car. I just got rid of my dodge for a camry hybrid xse...the most reliable drivetrain and car combo in the game! I think I'll stick with what works. There is no way you really like an alfa phev. I just don't believe it for one second and I'm calling you out. 80% of your videos are electrified Japanese vehicles. Something is off here.

      They never should've dropped the dart. They could've used it as their very affordable economy car and introduced hybrid variations to fix their poor fleet mpg issue.

      The number of mistakes they've been making is ridiculous. I hope they can turn things around.
      It sucks that there are so few quality domestic car models. My entire family buys Japanese vehicles because the domestic market keeps falling well short.

      ​​@@peaceable263Im sorry but no. Everything I saw the Dart and its cousin the 200 were horrid cars. My neighbor for some stupid reason had both and I saw both broke down so many times. Then never heard anything good about them online.
      The world is a better place without the Dart. They really need to just start from scratch....again. Such a unstable company.

      That was not typical of how it normally is. The hybrid battery was in need of charging so the engine was acting as a generator when I had the hood open.

      Yes bc Alfa was hoping the Tonale would help get their footing in the NA market and the Stelantis umbrella could help get their cars sold at Lithia Mopar dealers which are everywhere compared to Alfa dealers. Until Dodge slapped their own stupid badges on their car and are now selling it as their own. That pissed off Alfa.

    TFL did their roller slip test on one of these. It bricked the car. Alfa Romeo are masters at building cool fast cars that break so often you could nickname them hanger queens. Alfa is gonna give Dodge a bad name.

      They remade the same video and had a dodge engineer show the fault with the car it wasn’t actually broken, it’s just quick to show an engine light can’t remember the scenario but you should watch the second video

    35 miles EV is not very impressive. I get 60-70 in my 2018 Volt. We also own a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica PHEV and it gets about 30 miles EV.

    It's a DODGE... NOT even close to ANYTHING Toyota. Quality, Dependability and Reliability is Toyotas mantra. Dodge slaps poorly engineered crap together and it falls apart. The Hornet looks AMAZING... but it is a Dodge under the covers... The Eagle Talon looked AMAZING.... but it was a TOTAL piece of shit! It went thru timing belts like oil changes. Albeit the engine was Mitsubishi, but overall the car was a hard fail.
    I'll Stick to Toyota every day of the week.

      @@mixedbyfiatcat, yes I've heard a bunch of problems on the Tundra. Every mfg has issues from time to time. This is NOT the norm for Toyota though. Chryco has had quality issues for the 50 years of my life. My family owned a bunch when I was growing up... they were GARBAGE!

      19,000 miles on my Hornet GT Plus without a squeak. The car had been awesome. I love it more than my 2019 Charger Scat Pack
