I tried finding a VT like this one, but unfortunately the ones that I had inspected weren't looked after all that well. I don't know what all the negative comments are about regarding this car. I suppose its all subjective. If they were a good car back then, they're still a good car now in my opinion.

Aftermarket exhausts make a huge difference to these things because the exhaust goes from a 2.25 twin into a 2.25” single to the rear. This has an aftermarket exhaust so all it really proves is how much power the 226k has effected the results because with an exhaust it’s actually slower than a stock one when new

Do a Mazda 6 MPS and launch the fuck out of it, it has AWD, just remember to shift at 5500 rpm before the power drops off

Cars slow for a LS1 this tells me it is badly serviced

That's what I thought too. Sounds really unhealthy on acceleration and especially when he first started it up.

Factory time was 6.5 seconds , this has lost kw over the years

Factory time was 6.5 seconds. It's 220kw LS1 in 2000 and increase Kw until VZ.

It's hard to believe my 2012 328i does 0-100 a full second quicker, sure as hell doesn't sound as good while doing it though!

Wow that is pretty slow, i am not dissing it, something surely isnt right there, It should be low 9s for sure, even your 5l vn vp vr vs vt range are around high 9s to mid 9s stock, and this is a ls1. it sounds very flat and unresponsive down low. possible timing issue who knows.
