Being a Massachusetts native, you should get out to the Canal on Cape Cod. My dad hooked into a 42" striper back in the day. Pencil poppers and giant swimbaits are the way to go.

You got me back into fishing literally I went out and bought a bunch of frogs and swimbaits the first time a saw a vid and went fishing the next day (live in Michigan btw). (Cought white bass). Btw I saw this vid went up and instantly dropped my study guides for my exams tommorow and watched immediately. Your awesome keep up the good work.
Very interesting tactic with the worm. Cudas will also hit pretty much anything that shines, like a spoon. And nice find with the key deer! Been to Florida many times and have never seen one myself. They're pretty rare

Hey live in L.A. got some of the worlds best fishing from saltwater, largemouth bass, flyfishing trout streams... and perfect weather. You guys are nuts for not being here. Under Cover fishing hot spot is Southern California. And its not JUST FISHING there is so much to see and do with such a short distance. I got boats for the lakes.

You have to use a stinger hook on Cudas because they clip the tail off their prey then turn around and eat it. That's why spoons are so effective. They have the hook at the rear.
You should visit Sanibel, the central fishing of southwest Florida! I grew up here and fish everyday I can. Either doing shark fishing from the beaches, sight fishing reds on the flats in kayaks or paddle board, or out on the boat in the bay for snook and everything else. Even drop baits for goliath grouper! You should consider it! Great channel!
Jon please look up Matlacha Fl! It's a old fishing village here in my town in Florida! The fishing is second to none! It's about 5 mins from Cape Coral Fl the town I live in which btw is a city built on fresh water and salt water canals! Amazing fishing here

So wild was down in Orlando for a company conference at swan dolphin resort weather was terrible wish we could of fished maybe sometime soon thanks for all you do and Orlando airport was insane stood in line for almost two hours because tram was broke almost missed flight but now back in Cincy hope all is well!

It's so weird seeing all the stuff in your key vids sknce I live right there. If you go on the canal side of Big Pine you'll actually see my house. I have a barracuda in my canal I'm trying to catch with no luck, I see those bottlecap jellyfish everywhere, and the key deer. Man this is so cool!

There is a very good guide in Cudjoe key by the name of Captain Pat Bracher of Overtime Fishing Charters. My father and I have been fishing on his boat for probably at least one time every year for the past 6 years and he does everything, Permit, Bonefish, Tarpon, and Cuda. We caught about 20 bonefish in one day when we went this past spring break.
