Excellent video Travis. Awesome tips. My wife and I will be there for New Year's Eve for six nights, so hopefully by then the rainy season is nearing the end. Cheers.
G'day Travis, Another great video Kellie and I thoroughly enjoyed. As per usual lots of great information & love the chat with the Auntie's. Pity about the trees. Cheers Louis Kats & Kellie K from Melbourne, Australia 🇦🇺
Really enjoy enjoying seeing you talk with the locals, very impressed with your Vietnamese, everytime you start speaking I'm so impressed. So many people don't even try. I'm on my Vietnamese journey, started with a tutor about 3 years ago but living in America it's difficult to practice. After returning home from Vietnam I'm inspired to start again, starting back up with a tutor. Would love to hear how you learned, any tips or apps you found useful. Thanks
Me n the wife will be there in 2 weeks. We’re still excited to come even though it’ll be raining. Thanks so much for the update bro! We’re doing ho chi, Hanoi, Sapa, da nang then hoi an .
U don’t have language barrier. I’m bet that u r really enjoy yourself there. Awesome for sharing.🤠👍😊 U should apply for local weather man? Holly cow, u’d have knowledgeable about VN in general. Thanks.
Love your videos. So cool you can speak Vietnamese! I have been fortunate to visit Vietnam a few times. I tried learning the language, but I have found it almost impossible to master even a few basic sentences.
What was your stretegy for studying language. Did use an app and how many levels and how many hours a day did you deducate in the beginning. A video on that would bw cool.
Hey mate, Any chance you could do a video comparing accommodation and life style benefits for Da Nang city side V Da Nang beach side. I've stayed in An Thuong many times. Thanks legend I enjoy your content!
Hi Travis, thanks for all the info. I will be there with my family on 5 Dec. For 5 months, hopefully the rain season Will be half way or even more, and turn into a mild rain season😂 I just need a couple of not rainy days on my first week , to look around and chise an apartment. Keep up the good job, love your videos
Definitely join the travel group, lots of information there that will be helpful for you. You might get a bit of rain in December/Early Jan but should have plenty of good weather. www.skool.com/travel-vietnam/about
When you are single, they want you to get married. When you have a wife, they ask you when you are going to have children. I assume family is primordial in Vietnam.
Nice video. I appreciate the information on weather and typhoon's in Vietnam. So, I'm planning on visiting Vietnam, from America, for 3 weeks in March or April. What temperatures can I expect ? 70's, 80's, 90's ? Thank you for sharing your information !
Thinking of going to Siem reap Cambodia from Da nang for a couple of days are the short international flight as cheap ? (orange juice and coffee interesting combination 😆)
Depends on the routes. Da Nang to Bangkok/Chiang Mai is pretty cheap. I don't think there is a direct flight to Siam Reap, probably need to stop in HCM.
Travis mate, i will be in da nang feb 17th 2025. Sharing a meal and a deep long conversation with u is on my bucket list! Pla let me buy u lunch. I got ao many questions about living in Da Nang 🙏 In so impressed with your vietnamese, holding your own with the locals! Me and my dad watch aøl your videos together everytime il at his house. He still look at me and shake his head when he listen to your vietnamese vs mine 😂🙈 Did u mention u had your own community chat/channel? I rly wanne buy u a proper meal dude 🙏 Much love from a Viet Kieu living in Norway
Good video. Could you tell me if I rent an apartment for three months, do we have to pay cash or by credit card. Do I have to pay the three months all together ?
You can probably do some type of bank transfer, otherwise cash. Most places you can pay each month. You can negotiate a better price if you pay all 3 months up front.
Your Vietnamese is excellent. I’m so impressed. When you speak, you sound like the locals. AMAZING!
Thanks so much, I appreciate that!
