Okay, so, minor update. Part of me felt bad uploading this because the footage I used was from FuzionZGamer who, in the opening to his episodes, explains that the copy he uses is an early copy so its more prone to bugs. I honestly expected to have to put in an additional comment here explaining that some of the glitches shown don't affect copies released on December 16th so my claims of instability should be taken with a pinch of salt. Unfortunately, I wasn't wrong; I've watched episodes from CoryxKenshin, Markiplier and 8-Bit Ryan that shows the game is equally as buggy on release as it is in this 'earlier version'. There's virtually no difference. For instance; Sundrop's voice lines can still be triggered when playing against Moondrop, the animatronics teleport like crazy and will sometimes spawn in front of you, animatronics can clip through walls and get stuck, it is so questionably bad that FuzionZGamer had to cut out an hour of his gameplay loop in Episode 3 due to a massive error when being cornered in a security officer by Roxy and Monty, and the number of times I've seen people complain about 'soft-locking' on Steam due to clipping out of areas is astounding.
Once again, I reiterate that I don't bear ill will towards Steel Wool (if they are as unaffiliated with Scott as people claim them to be) but I think 40 dollars for this is really not acceptable; especially when, even if these bugs are addressed, so many Steam reviews I've read today talk about how some of the issues with the game are at its very core. Repeating lines of dialogue, lame jumpscares, a meandering story, lack of direction in both map and game world, and a really bizarre gameplay loop that has one foot in the door of free roam, another in the door of traditionally linear horror. I really don't understand how people can leave positive reviews of this game when it costs as much as it does for so little in return. If you manage to find any enjoyment with this game; genuinely glad you've had fun but, once again, Outlast wasn't nearly as much and provided so much more. Go give your money to some other horror game that is actually fun to play.

Funny thing: The game itself is nothing special in terms of gameplay.
I don't think the teleporting animatronics will ever be removed from the game.
All of the endings being just shitty comics except one is honestly insulting. Part of why it is insulting is 100% the pricing.
If you pay 40$ you should expect well animated endings.
Also why is this game 80 GB big? I know that's not a big deal but in terms of FNAF...it actually is.
The series really only was so big because of it's accessibility. Small games with simple to understand gameplay. Help Wanted is an exception because it's a VR game.
But asking people in the FNAF community now suddenly to pay 40$ for a game and also have 80+ GB of free disk space is...well, it's questionable to say the least.
The trailers before the game came out honestly are just insulting to watch now. The game looked so good in the PS5 trailer. It actually made me really hyped.
Well...all of the trailers voice lines are not in the game. The gameplay in the PS5 trailer looks way to polished for this game. And naturally the trailer music made it seem like more than it actually is. This honestly is false marketing.
Besides that: The bugs and glitches obviously are issues in itself. It is amazing how defensive the FNAF community gets when you tell them that this game is actually garbage.
If they price it at 40$ they should honestly compete with games in the same price category. For example...what is actually worth that price?
    FNAF SC or NieR Automata?
FNAF SC or Ghost of Tsushima?
FNAF SC or Final Fantasy 15?
But even if you go towards the 20$ price category: You could by Hades (which won many GOTY awards). You could buy Ori 1 or Ori 2. You could buy Hollow Knight.
You could even buy multiple Shantae games.
There is no excuse for this. The FNAF community is just pathetic and the defense of this game sadly proofes it.
Edit: You could also buy Little Nightmares 1 or 2 for 40$. Or even both if you get a good deal.

Completely agree; the pricing is ridiculous for something that countless other games have done before.

As part of the community, I do see what you're talking about, and I'm also dismayed by the now false marketing, rushed story, and the improper care for it. But you must understand that the community is defending it because of nostalgia and the belief that it has potential, so generalizing us as 'pathetic' is kind of offensive!
From what I'm seeing in multiple channels, the price of the game should've been reduced. Or maybe you're just inpatient for a patch. Or maybe the developers should've playtested the game more.
      Or something... I don't know.

@@vloggerbonakid6178 I listed up above that my problem with the game is generally speaking not the bugs. The bugs are just a small part of a big flawed game.
Compare the trailers we got to the final product. Almost everything was removed from the final game. It is 100% false advertising.
Besides that I don't generalize the community as pathetic. Only the part of the community which defends the game. From what I see in Steam reviews...that actually is most of the community.
If you don't defend the game, than you are not included in my statement. I only talk about the majority of the community. Not every single person.
Edit: I would even say I myself am a small small part of the community. I actually really like FNAF in concept and I personally think Help Wanted is an amazing horror VR game.
Again: I obviously know that not 100% of the community defends this game. It sadly is just the majority from what I see.

I agree with everything you just said, a lot of us should of known this game wasn't ready when the game was delayed again by a few hours

I appreciate all the hard work for what steelwool has given us, I despise the fact that this is a 40$ game that barley has anything to offer. Trying to criticize steelwool for this is pretty much a death sentence.

Right? You say one bad word about SB, the FNAF fans come out of the works to beat you to death. Did SB lead to loads of wonderful fan art and animation? Yes. Is it visually impressive? Yes. Is it wrong to enjoy it? No, not at all. Is it any good? No. They gave you the ability to use WASD keys. That's it. How they could charge this much for what is (content-wise) a free-to-play horror game on Steam is ridiculous and the people who defend this don't understand that they are causing more harm than good.

@@larubric The creator of FNaF plus (Phisnom on twitter) made his thoughts towards security breach, saying how it's his least favorite fnaf game and fans went ape shit. Claiming he is a fnaf hater for disliking one fnaf game.
