Hello friend I have a truck just like it but my lever tower is useless I would like to know what type of transmission you have since mine is the same as yours

I wish you went a bit further... I got this far but how do I get to the 4 bolts to remove shifter assembly with big rubber boot jamming up from below the hole? How do I get the shifter assembly off or get to the bolts? Thanks!

@@SirMaloPerformance - I had the same problem. Did you ever make the other video. I got the 4 philips off and then the rubber boot is clearly stuck. Something is keeping it in place.

Dam that sucks, nothing further. 1st, u guys trying to get at the shift tower, I've found its easier to take the 4 lower 8mm bolts out so u can rest it on a bench, they're T-15 or 20 torx holding the main shifter into the tower, theres bent shims for compression and bushings to the left and right on a brace that T's thru the shifter shaft. Don't open that up unless u need to tho, the 1st culprit of a loose shifter is the lower bushing under the tower, that usually fixes it. My problem is my truck is eating them since I got stuck in the mud a few weeks ago, thoz 2 bushings in my tower are my problem, I was hoping he went into rebuilding them, our stock shift towers are aluminum, the replacements are all plastic and I'm not a fan of that. Hope this helps some of u guys, and SMP, if you've got videos of rebuilding the shift tower I'd love to see it bro.

I will do upgrades like a Hurst shifter shaft in the future, but as of now I truly dont know sorry brother

Where can I buy a replacement shift shaft
To be honest I would try the dealership if OEM is what you need, but I am sure ebay and amazon carry them for a fraction of the price. Please be sure to subscribe😁🙏😁🙏
