Hey, Jason. Good to see you back. Looks like a major update, with the lobbies for the games. The 1up community needed it. As far as I could tell, most of them seemed to be people who bought the cabs for the nostalgia, for playing the games again, but not so much for the competitive side. We'll see how much this incentivises players to go deeper into the games. On the other side if this is a real incentive for those considering buying the cabs. And to complete the circle, hopefully in the not too distant future, the company will improve the quality of the product. With better hardware, better emulation and better connectivity, the great barrier that all online experiences must overcome.
I see you've incorporated H.Smoke. I gotta say it, man. Have you already dropped Scorp. for H.Smoke? I had some hopes for you, Jason, lol. You gotta play with the tops. It's not only because of the advantages they possess, but because no matter how much you study, you see the match up, you have to experience it from both sides. Nothing can replace your own experience. So practice, experiment with them.
I watched the video sbore casual or competitive. Great exposition on the subject. Grounding both positions, breaking down prejudices from both sides as well. In the end every player can experience the game the way they want, and that's what really matters, as well as respecting those who do it differently. An honest opinion was felt. I mean there is honesty, when you say: "I can't play with Jax", lol. After that, I hit the like button, lol. You really tried to see the issue from both sides, that's great. I agree with you that improving general mechanics that are present in all games, like space control, timing, trying to be more efficient with what you already know, will improve the gameplay. And if you add specific mechanics like the ones you developed, the gameplay will definitely be more solid and will be able to have better responses both offensively and defensively. Awesome work on your part.
Let's see how the story develops. And how the buttons hold up 😅The challenge is there, beyond the platform. So go for it, Jason. 👊👍
I always love your breakdowns of my videos. You know what I'm trying to say while giving your opinion. Hopefully the buttons hold up as I dive deeper in to the competitive side lol. And here's to hoping arcade1up steps up on the next MK cab with at least if nothing else, better components for players like myself who put the hours in to get better.

It is really fun to spectate. If I'm in my arcade, I'll look for a game running on the KI cabinet and just leave it running. Its interesting to see some strategies and even learn some new stuff.
