Hello RV , had MJX for 9yrs in the form of 18 Bugs 3 in àll çolor , all are still Flying flawlessly & just jumped off fence on tbis lil jewel. TY for awesome looks. I can't wàit , been à year.
Thanks so much! It really means a lot to me. You made my week! Working on other videos now and hope I don't disappoint. Again thank you for the feedback! Cheers!
@@redvikinghobbies well I’m so glad I could do that! Unfortunately, I just sold my 20 year collection of RC cars but I would do it all again over and over 1 million times because I have full custody of my little girl! She loves RC Just like her daddy and she’s pretty great with the transmitter already. Lol. So for now I’ll enjoy watching your videos and when things get better financially, I’ll get more cars and trucks. You do a great job and me and my little girl enjoy the videos I promise you don’t disappoint at all you’re doing a great freaking job.
Sorry I got cut short on the message you have to hold the set button down for 3 seconds and turn the light to red instead of green you have the gyro set in reverse even though it says it in the manual to have it on green it needs to be on red
I actually figured that out after a bit. I've actually been running it once in awhile on 3s on a better piece of pavement and have been through several sets of tires. Thing can be a blast!
Hey man, I removed the last post because you got this one in and I replied. I had to reread the gyro instructions and play with the car a bunch to get it but realized it after a few uses. It still doesn't have the adjustments you'd need for really good drifting but it's a great starting place! Thanks again for your comments! Cheers!
@@redvikinghobbies yea no worries bro I just got one and had to do the same thing. I use the second set of rubber tires it comes with and it does great the only thing is the modulation between the radio and receiver aren't the greatest I'm probably gonna switch it too a dumbro and see how that works plus a better servo besides that i think it will be perfect for a little drifting monster. Thanks for hitting me back we gotta keep this life and hobby alive. Cheers bro
There's no toe out adjustment. There's 2 aluminum sets of steering parts that may help, steering servo bracket and steering block hub assembly. The tie rod/turnbuckles for the 16431 may fit but I haven't tried. We used to lengthen our Slash control arms for dirt oval with a heat gun so thr same could be attempted here if one is close to where you need it but if the one you got isn't even, both slightly toe out, you'd need to replace the parts which in this case I'd go with the aluminum. It's a fun truck bit not highly adjustable. Thanks for the question!
Your's probably have grey two steering links, like in my Citroen, just pop one screw out and twist it out. There is a threaded rod inside. The toe-out out the box is very, very.. mesmerizing :)

HYPER GO 14301 1/14 RTR Brushless RC Drift Car with Gyro, Max 38 mph Fast RC Cars for Adults, 4WD All-Road Street Bash RC Truck, Electric Powered High Speed Drifting for Adult a.co/d/j1iWwpC a.aliexpress.com/_m0XEuwm Sorry its messy but you should get 4 working links. Once they go out of stock the links will change again. But Hypergo Drift should yield this car from any of these sites. Thanks!
So for this car the gyro is static and controls the speed at which the servo turns so it's either stable for speed runs or decreased for drifting. It's interesting because it worked in the opposite position of what I expected when I first ran it. Since 60 to 70% seemed stable I assumed 100% would have been stiffest but with the drift tires on (and there's like an hour of footage not here with me messing with this gyro) I couldn't get it dialed in. So in principle I was trying to drift it by reversing the tire direction to get me into a controllable drift. I couldn't do it on my surface during that hour. It would catch traction and the front wheels would pull it and I'd spin out. On the cul-de-sac I could get a power slide going sideways but couldn't reverse the tires to drift it at all. If you want to drift this you'll need a lot of tires and practice since it's shaft driven 4wd. The interesting thing about doing videos for folks is you want to be able to show what the car can do but I didn't have enough time or the right surface to make it happen. And I really should have done a top down view so you could see what was happening. Fun car but I'm gonna toss a 3s Hoovo 80c in it and run it rally style. It really reminded me of the way those Hoonicorn trucks from Team Associated feel. But yes it will help hold a straight line. Sorry for such a drawn out answer but they designed the car to do both. Thanks for the comment!
Gr8 video n info,thanks im getting one!!

I recently purchased a similar hyper go, wishing i would have bought that infraction knock off instead
Yeah, they're are some that are hit or miss depending where you get them but this one has been pretty fun! Thanks for sharing! Cheers!
Just wait till you try a 3S battery on it. You will really like this truck. Give it a try 👍👍
Got a Hoovo 2200mah 80c ready to go! Just finishing up a video on the DeeRC H16R and I'm gonna throw won in there too! Thanks for the suggestion!

For speed runs you want 7-10%, anything higher and the front wheels will shake out of control
