Thank you for sharing your knowledge of creating this cap!! I now have four different various patterns choices to try… in order to check which one my son may like the best. I’ve subscribed!
Love it!! Glad it's not raining. Sorry about your trees. Happened all the time in Ellijay. Wrap them and hope for the best. Good luck! Love you brother💖
This was awesome! Can't wait for part two! It's really neat seeing these hats made. I have always seen you wear them and the final product but not the actual process! Really enjoying it 😊
Hi there Mike. I have been watching your " how to" tutorial videos on how to make a welders cap. I have heard you mention in the videos that you would have a link or a way to contact you to get a pattern. Would you please let me know on how to receive a free welders cap template? Thank you so very much for your assistance and providing these " step by step "/ " how to" instructional videos for each of us to know how to sew caps for our welders and welding community. I think that you've done such a remarkable job in teaching us and educating us on the types of materials to use and even how to design ours to our own tailored likings. You have been so helpful and what a patient, kind, educational man you are. I am subscribed to your channel and will be looking forward to hearing from you and seeing more of your videos. Blessings
Going to make these to raffle at my next IBEW general meeting. Thanks! That looks like mid-weight sewn-in interfacing. I also don't see grain lines on the pattern. Does it matter? I'm a seamstress, in addition to a JW. Sorry for the specific questions.
Wow Sister, it's nice to hear from a pro seamstress!!! To be honest, I am not. The stiffener is peltex @3 mil. It's not cotton. I am unfamiliar with the term "grain line" but I did the best I could on the pattern. I would love to speak with you further since you are a GURU!!!!!!! Thak you for watching and my email is satilla10@mail.com, not gmail. IBEW#613, Mike D D876403

Yes Gina. It is sold wherever you buy fabric. Often it's called a stiffener/stabilizer/filler. It is polyester/nylon. And is available in various thickness.
