- Reaction To Grotesco - Liverlellie (Swedish Comedy)
This is my reaction to Grotesco - Liverlellie
In this video I react to Swedish comedy from Swedish television comedy sketch show Grotesco and their comedy parody of British period drama shows in their comedy sketch called Liverlellie
Original Video - • Grotesco - Liverlellie
The illiteration thing is pretty common in Swedish university sketches/plays by students, the founder of Grotesko is very much from that background.
You mean "allitteration" I suppose?
@@Vinterfrid That joke really went straight over your head
I have friends from academia, they are totaly useless....
I have fallen down the rabbit hole of all your videos haha. Love it! I wonder, how did your interests in Sweden begin? Keep it up! I recommend the Swedish tv show Solsidan. Very funny 😊
Hahaha😂
Thought about the English literature..."Mr Darcy" for example.
I recommened always Papphammar with Gösta Ekman
Indeed. And that's also universal comedy, no language barrier or local context restricted comedy. I find some of the reaction videos here not optimal due to these issues. And avoid videos with useless translation; happened recently.
But other than that, some really really nice reaction videos here well worth a subscription!
Yes!!!!
Speaking of "the American parody", there is an "echo" from that in this sketch, when Mr Percy quips: "People sayin' tally-ho", a not perticularly "posh-sounding" line, and that is because it is a quote from the sketch "The Trial" which of course was set in "the county state of Mississippi, Alabama" :)
YEES! I love this one xD
Thanks for reacting to it mate, I was actuay surprised about them actually nailing the accents too, doing an american accent is one think but proper English accents are difficult for swedes.
They're probably parodying some Jane Austen film like Pride and prejudice or something (Mr. Darcy?).
4:20 I would love to hear *your* impression of an upper class English accent, Mert!
Really good. Parody of a Jane Austen novell filmed several times.
I cant believe it took you that long to realize it was a parody of brittain xD :'D I think its specificly ment to be like Pride and Predjudice type of movies
This is a Jane Austen parody.
Mr Percy = Mr Darcy ... etc.
"Downton Abbey" is set ca 100 years later than this.
It's a parody of all costume dramas from Britain. Often based och novells of Charlotte Brontë and Jane Austen for example.
Galenskaparna OS
I think it's more jane austen era based on the clothes and hairstyle, of the men at least :D
Period melodrama satire.
So these fine business men trade in dung, and the only reason their insults of the piano teacher pass is because of their supposedly higher status.
The got abit of a swedish accent if your'e paying attention.
Oh dear zerenda ,really.Be resonable and do stop criticizing everything
Try again in english, we give him advices like he also says in every video that he wants, grow up
Sad that u literally ignore every comment people bring up on your videos, sorry but im unsubbin, u dont even wanna improve anyway
i've seen so many people recommended for example the "poesi för fiskar"-series with Crazy pictures, all with english subtitiles , me included. But He completly ignores those suggestions, i don't know why. i've stopped giving suggestions now.
🤣
@@Lib3x Maybe translate them for him eh.....
@@lipen99 Read what i wrote again, all of their videos has english subtitles. no need to translate...
I mean he doesn't owe you a reaction? You don't know what's going on in his life, what he likes or what he wants, what he does or does not have time for.
