Cornerstone 2006. The whole band sounded incredible during this show. Tons of energy. Some questions are being asked about the Mexican flag near the amp. That might have belonged to POD who played after Pillar.
I know right? They could have easily just had another guitar/bass onstage tuned to Drop D, which this song was originally in, and used them. It just doesn't sound good tuned down one step lower.
I dont think Rob sucks in singing...actually in the part "you"ll never...." he has beatiful voice...its just in my opinion, he has different voice then when he was young like on early records...so the rap doesnt sound like on record, but when he sings songs from the album Confessions it sounds actually pretty good...well this band is not rapcore anymore...
Such an amawzing band, on CD but also live, the only "but" is the singer, on the CD he sounds very good but live, it doesn't. But still: I LOVE PILLAR!!!!!!
Lead singer is wearing a skull shirt, band plays wild aggressive music and jumping around on stage, the crowd is buck wild. But it's a "Christian rock" band. Im no rocket scientist, but both bush jr and obama claimed to be a Christian.
I have both seen them live, and have met them. Got to hang out with them for quite a bit, too. Be sure to know them before you pass judgement. They are probably the most godly people you'll meet.
I mean this politely, but what do any of those things have to do with whether or not you are a Christian? I spent my entire high school experience seeing bands like this, moshing with the crowd, and was an incredibly passionate Christian. I just loved this style of music...and I'm not sure that loud music with awesome guitars and drums constitutes anything anti-Christian. I would see your point if they had anti-Christian lyrics, as that would speak to what they are communicating, but they don't.

what does a skull have to do with being a christian??? lol im a drummer in a heavy band and a christian... we all die and become skull and bones,, and music is simply music.. just b/c you are a christian doesn't mean you cant rock!!! or rap for that matter

Christian bands cannot play wild agressive music and jump around? I do not see anywhere in the bible saying that.
