You always seem to articulate exactly what I am thinking! Especially the part about wheels not aligning! I don’t care, give me quality of life improvements not minor things I can get over in ten seconds because I’ve zoomed out.
The way I understood the unlocked was that they were gonna take the beggining of 2025 and get the game in more of the state it should have been when it launched instead of having the game feel like it’s half done. And when the game is in a mare desirable state, they will release what ever DLCs they had in mind. But since we technically just got a DLC, it may have been like 3 months until the next one anyway and we may not be missing out on anything. When it comes to the flumes, I needed the physics they announced coming. I enjoy watching people ride the slide or coaster just as much as I enjoy building the park. So for something to be done as poorly as the slides are currently, it really dampened my enjoyment. I will say as a huge coaster nerd, I love the two coasters of the thrill seekers ride pack. The Mach extreme spinner was a hugely needed ride for me and Frontier nailed the model perfectly. They even included the magnet on the train that lets you control how much the cars spin. And I love how the Vekoma LIM launch family coaster actually uses the track and launch set up that the real life ones do. They easily could have just put those trains on the normal track and gave it the same launch as every other magnetic launch. But they took their time and did it right.
Better late than never! I always wait for your update videos, your pacing flow and the way you show everything off just works so simply for me. I look forward to seeing what you do with these new thrill rides! #volt
What makes this all even worse is that the game is/was on sale. 20% off after 1 month after release. Basically burning your loyal fans who bought day 1 or preordered. That frontier didnt loose a word about this makes me doubt their promises even more…
Not including the QOL changes from the last game and having an underwhelming early DLC are such Frontier moves lmao. They truly never change. Can't wait for JWE3/PZ2!
Don’t have the game, just a PZ/JWE fan following along out of curiosity. If Frontier released a DLC with 5 animals and no scenery for $10 I’d be annoyed, and there’s no way I’d get it for full price. Not sure what the exact exchange rate is between games. But even ignoring the polish/bugs that need fixing it seems like PC2 lacks some essential content. I mean a theme park game with no sci-fi/space theme seems absolutely wild to me. Like if PZ launched with no safari theme almost. Early DLC packs have been done before, Early Cretaceous Species Pack and Arctic Pack for JWE2 and PZ launched within a month or so, but they were standard in terms of price/content ratio. This just seems anemic for the price. Bad sign for the future possibly.
Thanks for the comp. And GL everyone. I 100% agree about the slide physics. Its the same for guests getting on and off rides. It is good enough and not the thing i think computational power should be used on. I care about the guest animations for the 30 seconds im zoomed in on a station etc and then very quickly move on. Id rather that computational power be used on things like seasons ( outdoor pools are full in the summer and empty in the winter), a much deeper gift shop system etc, better and more realistic coaster break downs etc. There is a finite amount of computational resources available and id like to see them spent on things that have a greater impact, no matter what you are doing or how close to things you may be. #Volt
#volt The coasters should not be DLC-but the flat rides are ok (this is because the coasters add functionality, the flat rides, especially the Strike Ride, are mostly cosmetic and not essential)
#volt love this game even in it current state im not crying like some people are, but releasing dlc this fast is a bold move regardless of the state the game is in, especially when the preorder/deluxe content was essentially stuf from PC1
The DLC is absolutely not worth it while costing that much, the price/content value is simply not it. Besides, the novelty isn't there, another regular coaster or another rotating flat ride should be extra bonuses within a pack, let alone the first post launch pack for the game (deluxe edition pack feels more worth it). I don't think they're ditching DLCs and working exclusively on free content though, the stream statement just sounds like the typical PR saying targeted towards damage control. It wouldn't make sense for a failing game to stop getting ways of profit. #Volt
#volt I was not planning on buying it, since I just got the game and didn't want to spend even more on it so early. But I do love the mack spinner so this is a welcome surprise haha!
@@AG7-MTMi dont even think the flatrides are any good. One of them was, if i remember correctly, already part of planco 1 since day 1 of the first alpha release no? Psychola
as someone that’s been stuck in the sims 4 money grab hellscape i’m sad to see it’s bleeding into my other comfort games. frontier DLC has always been fairly reasonable and it’s sad to see them change!
#volt 😇🤞 I will buy the dlc later maybe. I'm still building only 5% of my park yet. I like the game so far, i don't know.😆 I will to add that the base game needs to be good before releasing dlcs. When the big bugs are gone i'm fine with paid dlcs
#volt I like the changes and the new coasters, but the dlc is just a bit overpriced for me though that was already kinda the case for the vintage rides pack imo.
No, the DLC is not worth it, don't get it and maybe Frontier actually learns from this absurd price P.S.: I really want this, yes, but I appreciate fair pricing a bit too much:)
Its worth it for those that want extra fun rides in their park. Absurd? Its 10 dollars not 6000. You probably spent more than that on lunch. If it was any cheaper it would be free. Its not costing an arm and a leg and noone is forcing you to buy it. You have the option to stick to the free rides in the base game. God forbid game developers dont wanna work for free and charge for their work.
@daonlyboriqua11 10 Bucks for this is absurd, ever heard of simply 5 bucks? Or at least a bit more content? I am part of the people who want this DLC, I want it really badly, I am a Vekoma addict and RTH fan after all, but 10 bucks for 5 things it's absurd, that's a fifth of the game's price, you know? That's unreasonable. Also I am student 3D animation, and I don't think that asking a tad bit less is that unreasonable for the amount of work these probably are to make.
Are coasters in the game time track stamped where it’ll give you the time passed for every piece of track you place down like in the old Ultimate Coaster game??? 🎢🤔

We definitely could have done with some scenery pieces in this DLC though

The dlc being 10 dollars is already questionable but it being released when the game still is being fixed is crazy
What makes this all even worse is that the game is/was on sale. 20% off after 1 month after release. Basically burning your loyal fans who bought day 1 or preordered. That frontier didnt loose a word about this makes me doubt their promises even more…
We need pieces. lot's of them.

#volt a bit overpriced, hopefully the next ones either are a lower price or come with a bunch of additional scenery pieces...
#volt thanks for this opportunity :D i was also weighing if the dlc is worth it or not
#VOLT !!!
Its $25 CAD... for a DLC... oof thats too much! man frontier is getting money hungry
And for what the pack offers (except for the flat rides, those are tolerable), totally not worth it at this time

Yes, the color changer needs to continue to other pieces of the same theme or kind.

ya its way too much! and its not $10 like he said, its $17 USD, $25 in Canada where I am, thats way too much for a 1 DLC of MANY to come...
@@Alex.Kandmor it is $10 I purchased it at that price on steam
They did learn. It’s in there most recent video of “Unlocked”
