1. Robb has imprint boost when you ride him for more damage 2. Shoot the shotgun while riding 3. The whistle doesn’t work for the tame being ridden, dismount then whistle
I really care about you all! Many people think that the way to get to heaven is by being just a “good” person, but scripture tells us that no one is good but God! So you how do we get to heaven then... scripture like John 3:16 tells us by believing in Jesus... that He is our Lord and Savior, we accept that Jesus payed our fine for our sin in full on the cross! God bless you all! Have a wonderful day!
You keep shooting Ned with your own shotgun. It has a spread. When he jumps and makes that sound, he's being hit. Always look at the ceiling before you continue further. You might find a nasty surprise on the ceiling.
i love how it keeps the 4th wall up in a sense. immersion to the max. glock is by far the best youtuber on the platform. I am so glad he is getting more views
The lava cave was actually the first cave I had ever explored (sorta). I knew nothing about Ark or artifacts and just wanted to see what was inside. Curiosity lured me in, overheating lured me out.
Bary's are amazing, they're my favorite cave diving mount. But you definitely can't bola them and the only thing that can carry them are quetzals and wyverns.
Watching this episode gave me flashbacks to my first run of this cave. Oh god... The arthros.. The lizards.. check the ceiling glock! check it before its too late!
there are 3 or 4 loot crates in the "sea" on the sea floor that respawn after looting every 2 hours i think. they give the best loot. you will need a airtank . a dolphin , megla, or a berryonix . anyone of those dinos. i recommend the berry because they are fast on land and sea , plus they can stun water dinos, and they don't use O2. getting better loot for the boss fight is recommended lol. the best way to tame a Thyla is one pick it up if possible (which i think they are too big for Argys) or tame it from the back of a bear or a rex. just put them on passive while you tranq it. a better rifle or bow would be good . and if the dinos have a lot of HP or really good saddle or both lol. good vid
thylas are pretty easy to get, when its on the ground, just use your Argie and drop it in a trap at least 2 walls high (use stone only no wood). You can use the doorway technique as before or use windowed walls. Your bird has a lot of health so no issues if it takes a few hits from the thyla until you drop it in the trap. If it's on a tree, just shoot a tranq dart in it from a distance, so it drops to the ground, jump on your bird and fly up, then pick it up with your argie..simples! lol. Love the episode...as Dora would say...double whams! haha
Be cautious when you load into caves or heavy mob areas. Ark likes to glitch sometimes and you'll get swarmed suddenly. Also you can change the follow distance of your critters in their menu, the AI isn't always the brightest.
When you are whistling ned to passive, You have to be off of him. Just like if you whistle other dino's while riding a dino they will follow that dino your riding.
I have watched most your series now. I wanna make a couple suggestions that I know will help you tremendously. Cryo Pods! You should make/have 50. Keep 3-4 empty ones on you at all times. Cryo Phillie when you go in the caves. It truly is safest that way. 1 raptor that comes across Phillie while your in there could kill that Argent. AI when you not riding is terrible at fighting. dinos. Bolas! The amount of dinos you can completely immobilize for 30 seconds is crazy. Raptors, Scorpions*, Baryonx, etc. Dododex! This is basically the app bible of Ark. It will tell you basically everything in regards to taming, breeding, growth, imprinting, etc....everything. Starve Tame! Don’t put food in the dinos inventory right away after downing it. Let it stave so it eats a bunch in a row. It’ll make taming better. Use Raw Prime meat to tame all your high lvl carnivores unless you have kibble. It works so much better than raw meat. Anyways, just a few tips. I have been hooked on this game on and off for 4 years now. Love this game. It’s hilarious watching you play. Gives me “good” anxiety. Lol
If you imprinted the baby direwolf when he was maturing then you'd be better off using him as his hp, weight, melee & speed will be 20% higher if you got 100% imprint plus there's 30% increase to damage and damage reduction when you ride him For thylas you might be best off finding a sheep first, hard to find though on the island but look on the black sand near the volcano, in the snow biome and along spino river that runs south from green obi area, carry it back to base then kill it and cook as much up as you can as thylas like that best apart from kibble, build a pen outside your base then fly around the outside of the redwoods and look for one in a tree, land somewhere safe and snipe it so it jumps out then pick it up and drop in taming pen, also look for dinos running about with blood spurting out of them as they've either been jumped by a thyla or a carno has hit them, makes them a bit easier to find on the ground
Tame a Stegosaurus and take a little stroll in the redwoods - the Thyra will find you. You can now avoid being dismounted and tank it using the Heavy Plate Mode (press C) and back it into a tree
For the Thylas: I went to the red woods to look for one using an Argentavis… I only found one which saw me before I saw him so becareful cause they might jump off the tree and pull you off the Archy. Later on I saw one on the ground fighting something so I picked it up with my Archy and dropped it in my trap (which I built before looking for one
Ride your imprinted babies, as they will have more damage output and resistance to damage when ridden. Their stats are also usually better, especially if you combine the best stats from both parents. You can shoot off of the back of a wolf, so you don't need to dismount first. Also look into re-mapping your whistle keys to something easy to remember (in the options menu), Like F1 for passive, F2 for Neutral and F3 for attack this target, F4 for agressive etc. That way you don't have to fiddle with the whistle wheel all the time. You can also set a whistle for Land this flyer and gamma up and down so that you can easily set those values while recording. Whistles also do not affect the mount you are currently on, so dismount first then whistle.
Great episode, as usual!! Btw, for me, when I play on console - so not sure if it's diff for you.... you have to be off of your mount when you whistle passive, neutral, aggressive, etc... At 26:10, I think this is why he went for the corpse, because even though u whistled passive, it didn't apply to him because you were mounted on him. Just keep that in mind...if I'm correct. Lol!
Whenever you end up doing Broodmother I would recommend taming a bunch of high level Megatheriums because they get a huge damage boost while fighting her.
The mini island you landed Philly on/the river end you pulled the purple drop from is the island I live on. Pretty much every main resource within 1KM of that location.
You should start going into the bigger caves with a megatherium. When you eat bugs with it you get a damage boost which will help against the spiders and arthros
The megatherium is one of the most underrated dinos in ark. That thing is a tank. I have a max level female on an official Genesis legacy server and its easily the best mount I have
If your going to fight the Broodmother, I suggest that you tame up some Megatheriums(Giant Sloths), they get massive buff from killing bugs and your gonna be fighting a lot of bugs in that fight. It would make it a lot easier.
Really enjoying the series Glock! I normally play genesis on public server but after watching this series it's forced me back to play some one player on the Island. I love the grind of a fresh start. Keep up the great content!
Been loving the series, long time player of ark. Love seeing you take on the challenges of ark as a newer player. Your base location is dope, I use that spot at a port as I like to live on ships in my play through, keep up the great work!
Hey Glock, once you have the artifact of the hunter, massive, and clever altogether for the Broodmother boss, start looking for a High level male and female Megatherium to breed for fighting the Broodmother. You might want to boost the breeding settings as well. The megatherium gets a rage buff when in contact with bugs like the Broodmother. I hope this helps you out for fighting the boss. I love this series and I think it is making some great progress. 👍
a very good dino and I believe the best for cave diving is the Baryonox it is fast can jump does good damage is a combat mount so you can shoot while riding it is a great swimmer with under water breathing just watch cause the Baryonox may not need oxygen but you still do :) and can fight in the water its first attack is good damage and the second attack is a 360 tail spin that damages and stuns targets great for the large numbers of water going enemys in caves
Should've gone with saddled bred up Sabers for the cave adventures, but he's still learning, lol. A good armor saddle with some imprinted, mutated Sabers and you'll run caves like a BOSS Glock! 9 status! Loving the Ark series, just binging the series till I'm all caught up to the current episode. Hope you stick with the storyline and move to Scorched Earth next, then Ab, then Ext and to Genesis 1 & 2! Keep up the great work. Got me playing Ark again...
hey glock get daedons, the pig looking things. they are in the snow and can heal your dinos, but they need food to do the healing. and get a lot of megatheriums, they are also in the snow biome.
I think the baryonyx is the way to go with caves. Some caves need a decent swimmer and that’s a baryonix but neds killing it and I love the thinking with the names. Good shit
I would suggest getting a Thylacoleo. They have saddle which in turn gives it armor. It can climb walls, etc. Thylacoelo is without a doubt one of the best animals in the game. Good luck with the series!
You definitely can get megarabies while riding a dino. It's fairly rare but you're on the lucky side to have done two caves and not gotten it. It does 320 damage so I would get to 330 or have medical brews to heal through it. And yeah you don't need a thyla or anything special until you get to the big snow cave, that cave needs a couple of really strong high level tames that can take 5-10k damage in a single fight, and sometimes like 15k if things go badly, and deal very good damage in return, it's no joke.
Personally, I made a full set of high-quality Ghillie Armor, which I still have yet to use. It is primarily used for keeping you cool in warmer environments. Would be useful in Scorched Earth...
Glock some tips for you. When mounted the whistle passive isn't for the tame you on. You need dismount 1st. If you have HLN-A skin use in the caves also you can use Ned to sniff for xp notes.
taming a thylo you will need bear traps. set up a few in a diamond formation, shoot the Thylo out of the tree and lead the thylo to them. and then its just a matter of tranqing it out.
Searched the comments but no one mentioned it... You can draw your weapon when riding wolves... Also, Chitin armor is the worst armor to use in a hot environment, you should either wear cloth or ghillie armor to decrease overheating factor.
Glock the reason why ur wolf came out 2 levels higher is because he got a mutation aka a colour somewhere and a buff in a stat u can get ur dinos real strong with the mutations but it will take a long time
Your whistles are permanent until you override them with another. So the passive whistle you had on Ned would make him do nothing at all, even if under attack. You had him on neutral in the first cave, and that means he'll only attack something if it hits him or another member of the tribe. That's why he didn't touch that one scorpion until it hit you. Attack your target is the way to go if you want him to fight anything that hits you, or you take a shot at, and passive flee is best for weak ass Pteranodons, Horses and Pelagornis etc. Careful with the flee though cause they can disappear real fast.
I had flashbacks in the lava cave from the time my pack of Bigfoots ran right off the Bridge into the lava chasing a damn spider ... Rip the Hendersons 😆
I love the series man, you can lower dinosaurs follow distance in the interaction radial to prevent them from getting too far behind like Ned did in the cave. Keep away from those mega rabies!
Whistling to ur tame while mounted only affects other tames, but the one u r riding and u can also shoot from the back of Ned so u don't have to keep mounting and dismounting to cut time
I would love to see you do all bosses and caves on this series then maybe next map you can take the perma death approach? Idk there's so much to do and perma death would make so much work go to waste. But hey it's your channel your videos make what you like I'm here bc I enjoy what you put out so keep up the great work glock.
1. Robb has imprint boost when you ride him for more damage

He just likes ned
Also medical brew isn't for rabies.

Glock I thought something happened to you because you didn’t post Friday glad you’re ok
He posted on Twitter, on Friday he had some unexpected family company over so he had to hold off Friday's episode and release it for today instead.
He had family show up unexpectedly, so, there was no content on Friday.

14:27 you`re looking at a Baryonyx, a really great creature for caving! You can bola it or carry it with Phillie.
I tried taming one of these recently but u can no longer bola them I found that out the hard way
Great creature all and all tho
@yousiffsea or just go on a Cliff cos they can’t climb that well

For the dark areas, if you put a torch in the tames inventory and then drag from there to the saddle, it puts the torch on your saddle.
To make the cave a little bit easier try and see if you can equip a torch to your Mount saddle weather be a wolf or a Baryonyx
a very good dino and I believe the best for cave diving is the Baryonox it is fast can jump does good damage is a combat mount so you can shoot while riding it is a great swimmer with under water breathing just watch cause the Baryonox may not need oxygen but you still do :) and can fight in the water its first attack is good damage and the second attack is a 360 tail spin that damages and stuns targets great for the large numbers of water going enemys in caves

Can’t wait to see his reaction to mate boosted Thyla’s. And btw those penguins you walk around while taming , give prime meat!

Nice artifact runs 👍 to get tame on passive be sure to not be mounted on them when whistle. Or do it manually. 🤪
You can turn harvesting off for dinos so they don't get encumbered during combat.
How?
Glock some tips for you.
When mounted the whistle passive isn't for the tame you on. You need dismount 1st.
If you have HLN-A skin use in the caves also you can use Ned to sniff for xp notes.
taming a thylo you will need bear traps. set up a few in a diamond formation, shoot the Thylo out of the tree and lead the thylo to them. and then its just a matter of tranqing it out.
I always get so excited to see a new video on this series!

Simon and Dora could be your sponsors for "drop addiction".
Make sure you collect the Titanboa venom as you go.
Army of Megatherium, few big lv Rex and you riding a Yutyrannus strong Broodmother killing crew right there!

Get a vulture. You can carry it on your shoulder when you go into caves and it attacks anything near you
You need to tame an otter. Because they allow you to get multiple artifacts :)
Only found you this weekend but loving the ark content
I love how it when from "so sorry penguins but I have to kill you" to "wanna test my shotgun?"
Damn Ned,Take off your Jordans 😂😂😂
Had me dead 😂😂😂
Omg, lol! I just realized our bases are likely built in the same spot. 😆
Set Ned to Attack My Target instead of Neutral in the caves and he won't just stand around like that.
Pog I love your content keep it up. I watched all your 12 episodes and was begging for more and I saw this now. Thank you. 💯
