After you're done with The Island map you should try the dlc maps. They add a lot of new stuff and are really unique. Lots of content potential.

Idk why they haven't tame a Dire Wolf since they can enter every cave and can be extremely strong specially good helmet to reduce damage with 2 they can use alpha boost
I've been screaming "Just make a damn cryopod already" everytime he tamed something...
A few tips for you, Welyn!
- When caving, it's always good to bring an extra set of armor. Arthropleuras have a spit attack that are specifically to destroy armor.
- Just a few Megatheriums wont do; for bosses, generally you'll want quite a lot of creatures for bossfights.
- Ghillie Armor will be very useful; You gain increased resistance to heat, meaning areas like the Lava Cave you did last basically NEED ghillie armor if you want to stay inside long-term.
- Yutyrannus are ESSENTIAL TAMES! They have the ability to apply a buff to your other tamed creatures, increasing damage output and resistance. This is extremely useful for bosses!
- If you do another playthrough on a different map, I suggest that you get a few mods. Mods like Structures+, Awesome Spyglass, Kraken's Better Dinos, and Ark Additions: The Collection can make your game much more enjoyable!
- Bats are in most caves in the game. Lesser Antidotes are useful to cure the Mega Rabies they infect you with.
- Your current base won't do for much longer. You'll need to expand or move your base to an area with greater access to resources to hold and gather all of the supplies / resources for your late / endgame endeavors.
- Upgrade from waterskins! There are other ways to hold water that allow you to drink more. Water jars allow you 2 drinks, and Canteens allow you 3!
Hey here’s a tip when u loot ur body or anything there is a symbol on top of the inventory that allows u to take everything at once u just have to press it the symbol is two arrows goin away from each other

Once you learn a lot of the inventory and game commands you really feel like a gamer. I know I did.
I know it was painful watching him pick all that stuff up. Doesn’t it also automatically equip your armor?

@@TheJasonmanguy not just that, he leaves his tame on passive and when other dino attack his tame they won't fight back and gets killed. It's just annoying.
I really love the ARK content, totally not because its one of my favorites games , but also because of your take on it. As a tip i would like to tell you that theres an option for easier dinos transport. It's called "Cryopod" and you can make it in any obelisk (the place when you go for bosses) if you have enought materials. It basically works as a pokeball for dinos.

As someone with 1k hours on ark (rookie numbers I know) it's simultaneously painful and awe inspiring seeing Welyn tame creatures with no regard for what level they are, what taming effectiveness, what stats they have, etc. It's one of those things you forget as you play, that desire to tame something just to have it.
As a long time ark player its still fun watching new players have those first encounters with the dinos and frusterating experiences that all ark players go through. greatvids man

A good tip for the Megarabies, with Tintoberrys and Narcotics in a cooking pot you can make health brews, which one every few seconds will keep you alive and well while having contracted it, and is also great is situations where you are taking alot of damage and can exit a situation while staying alive. You can also craft antidotes to immediately get rid of the megarabies.
it’s amazing watching someone experience ark for the first time. years ago. when it was just the island. scorched earth and the centre, i remember young little me in awe as the world i had before me. it gave me a feeling i’ll never have again. i’ll never be happy like that again

I'm glad you managed to tame yourself a decent Thylacoleo. They are a great mid-late game mount to have and make traversing the harsh landscape so much easier. Pouch-kitties for the win!

Welyn just to let you know the arrows on the top of the menu next to search when you're looting your dead body's inventory transfers all items at once so you don't have to pick up each item one by one.
Just so u know argies get a rapid heal buff when the eat a corpse, you can burn leeches off with fire, and for bosses you should use rexes or spinos as well as start with the gamma difficulty, the thing that dismounted you in the redwoods was a microraptor, turning your difficulty up to 1.0 will allow Dino’s to spawn at lvl 150 (which will make them incredibly powerful), harvesting bugs with the frog will allow you to get free cementing paste, crafting lesser antidotes will cure mega rabies

Try making cryo pods at obelisk or drops they are very helpful for moving Dino’s and if your ever about to die just have your strongest Dino in you pocket and throw them out to take everything out

in the cave where you couldn't fit thelma in you could destroy the rocks around the entrance you have to see what rocks you can't destroy and which you can cuz its really useful

WELYN WELYN WELYN, get some things called cryo pods. They will allow you to transport your tames but be careful because when you throw them out they will contact a thing called "cryo sickness" but you will be able to carry them in your inventory without them having to get them to follow you. Just a lil tip trying to help and keep from all of your tames during while trying to get artifacts and exploring

29:00 Porgie is a true blue ARK Bob and I absolutely love it.
This game looks pretty cool actually. I've heard of it of course but never really saw gameplay until you started putting out videos on it. It looks like there's a lot to it, with all those different animals around, crafting. Hilarious that enemies in that one part could infect your mount to not listen to your commands. Looks cool.
Also I lol'd when I saw that it was actually called mega rabies. I thought that was just a funny name you guys were using but no, it's actually MEGA RABIES lmao
Ark is very fun, although you should always expect to lose, but get a win now and then too.

Helpful tip: make a bunch of cryopods. They act as pokeballs to help store and move dinosaurs. They will allow u to get more Dinos into caves and carry more dinos with u at a time. Incredibly helpful and easy to make

The series of events involving dino's randomly dieing while in a cave and then being eaten while spawning after dieing in a cave to mega rabbies was the most ark thing ever.
That would be amazing if you guys did each map in order, I love ark so much and it brings back to many memories and watching one of my favorite streamers play it warms my heart
I love these videos and all the memories they bring back. My earliest dabbles in ark were as chaotic. By now i just steer clear of areas I know have jumpscare animals except for taming purposes and never enter a cave if I am not prepared with a ton of meds and stews. And I only tame if I have enough protection from angry fauna.
Edit: Also, with the button above the inventory of for example your corpse you can transfer everything.

Spiders slow you, Centipedes have a chance to break your armor, Snakes are annoying, Bats and Lizards can give you mega rabies. If you want any tips for the game that will just generally help you check out Pterafier.

I'd search supply drops if I were you. Because you can find better rarity weapons that can knock things out faster AND deal crap tons more damage

Bro, Bufos are the shit. They're fast af, and leap up cliffs, tranq enemies with their tongue, and automatically convert bugs into cement paste when you harvest them with the frog.
What really helps in this game is a grappling hook for the crossbow. You can hang from ceilings and still shoot
