Kunshan, a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Jiangsu Province, is managed by Suzhou City. It has been more than 2,200 years since the county was established in the Qin Dynasty. Kunshan is the birthplace of Kunqu Opera, the "ancestor of a hundred operas". Southeast of Jiangsu Province. In September 2010, Kunshan, Vienna, Singapore and other five cities won the UN Habitat Award of the year. In January 2016, Kunshan was awarded the first batch of "National Ecological Garden Cities" by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. According to the seventh national census data, as of 00:00 on November 1, 2020, the resident population of Kunshan was 2,092,496.
In 2019, Kunshan was successively rated as the 2019 National Top 100 Counties and Cities in Comprehensive Strength, the 2019 National Top 100 Green Development Counties and Cities, and the 2019 National Top 100 New Urbanization Quality Counties and Cities. The second batch of national agricultural product quality and safety counties. 2019 National Top 100 Counties for Business Environment. In 2019, it ranked first in the country's comprehensive economic competitiveness. In 2019, it ranked first in the top 100 manufacturing counties (cities) in the country. In 2020, the Academy of Social Sciences released the "Top 100 National Counties' Economic Comprehensive Competitiveness" ranking first. I spent a Month in the limits of Kunshan. I could walk for 30minutes and arrive to Zhaofeng Road Subway Station (part of the Shanghai Subway system). Two more stations and I could arrive to Kunshan subway station

这里只是江苏省苏州市辖区内的县级市，西安市是陕西省的省会和西北地区的中心城市，重庆是直辖市。

上海苏南确实发展天翻地覆。1980年代苏州城区都是破烂不堪的老房子。现在苏州下面一个县城能这样，真的是这30年赚了不少。但是水土污染也很可怕，基本没法住人了，现在不让公开报道而已。
