- We love Arkwright, but it can be heavy and long, and therefore hard to get to the table!
When this card game version was announced, we where very excited, and we are so happy to be able to play it, as it’s a fantastic reimplementation of the original!
It’s different, and will not replace the original, but it manages to give me a lot of the same feel for the game, in under half the time period!

I think you can can do an upgrade action just to upgrade a worker (if you already upgraded your factory).

Love how you did the links divided by bread/cutlery and clothes. Moreover since now I know how to write Cutlery in English. :-p Competent reviewers that endorse a game are better advertisement than any flashy kickstarter page... Btw: Looking really good Johannes, slim looks good on you! Are you running around with Vikings these days? And Sunniva, well, she always looks good to me. (If you could disclose the location of the magical village where beings like that sprout from, please send a map. I will not tell.)

Thank you very much for the video and your hard work. It was really helpful for me and I think I will pass on this game. Although it looks and seems to play great my wife really enjoys playing the Arkwright board game 2 player with Waterframe so I can't really justify buying the card game
Glad you found it helpful! Yeah, I get that, if you can play Arkwright, I'd rather play that, but I also find this different enough to want to own them both!

I was on the fence on backing but I do not do well with math and stocks etc. so I don't think this is a game for me. Economic games are not my jam.

Oh, I wanted to ask, do you think this game is still worth it at two-players, even though it isn't nearly as good at more?
Sunniva liked it better than me at 2 players. I wouldn’t buy it to play only at 2.
Have to admit did not play the original but played this on tabletop. I could not get into this game as it really did not grab my interest. Not saying this is a bad game but just not for me.
