Humans should have to take a series of exams before being allowed to own animals. This is a typical example. The dog rolls over in defiance, the human screams out loud and puts it's hand to its mouth. Cesar is a natural teacher. Calm, assertive when needed and patient. I have learnt many things about myself following him for decades and passed the lessons and experience onto my family and friends. If there is one person I could spend time with on this planet before I move on to the next part of my journey, it would be him. 🙏

A lot of these comments are correct. It's almost always the human.
Take the viral story of Kristi Noem and her dog. I did a video on this on my Channel. That story is 100% Noem's fault. We are not playing politics here, that's just noise. The issue was that she had no idea how to properly handle a dog.
This is entirely evidenced in her own words. She took an untrained 14 month old puppy (yes, a puppy. The wirehaired pointer does not reach maturity until 2 years) on a pheasant hunt and expected it to simply follow other dogs that were on the hunt.
It didn't. It followed it's natural instincts of a high prey drive towards small game because it never had any training to control those instincts. It ruined the hunt by chasing every bird it saw.
Her dog, Cricket, had no recall - another sign of no training. Plus, the GWP dog is known for its extremely high energy and exercise needs.
She then took her dog and visited a neighboring farm and didn't properly secure her dog. It gets loose and goes into a killing spree of small game (chickens), ignoring Noem's attempts to recall it. She then goes to grab the dog while it's state of mind is in a red zone of excitement and killing small game (again, it's breeds natural instincts) and it turns to nip at her. She deems this aggressive behavior and then drags the dog to a gravel pit and shoots it dead.
Any fan of Cesar knows that dogs can bite their human if their mind is in an uncontrolled state of extreme excitement. Noem acknowledged that her dog was extremely excited to kill those chickens and was in the middle of killing them when she grabbed for Cricket. Cricket redirected it's extremely excited energy back on her in that one moment. That does not mean it was aggressive, and in fact she snapped the dog's brain OUT of the excitement when she grabbed it. She said in her own words that she drug the dog to a gravel pit. It was not fighting her and biting her during this, it was already snapped out of the excitement - which TELLS YOU that this was entirely fixable.
Rather than rehome the dog or get it proper training, she executed the dog. A faithful young pup that was placed in a lose/lose scenario by an owner was executed for embarrassing her and not magically doing what is against it's nature without training.
Now, I've seen many people reply with things like:
"This is just rural America, you don't understand."
"This is farm life, you don't get it."
"You can't have a dog that kills livestock."
"Once a dog kills, it won't ever stop."
ALL of these excuses are BS.
For one, I grew up in the country, this is a BS excuse about rural America. Secondly, I've seen many rural Americans AND farmers also say that they would not have done what she did. Thirdly, you can search on RUclips RIGHT NOW for farmers successfully rehabilitating their dog after it killed their chickens. So all of those excuses are just ignorance.
Rural American farmers do not all execute puppies that don't come gift wrapped with perfect behavior. Many keep their dog and get it trained to stop killing small game and control it's instincts.
Bottom line, this was a young pup that was untrained and placed in situations where the expectation was to operate against it's natural instincts. It was not on a leash and not trained on the e-collar. This was entirely the human's fault and it should at the very least been rehomed.

Hi Cesar, I so much love the way you are working with animals! You do such an outstanding job with all your love and understanding and also the necessary mindful strength. I have a dog from a shelter since some months and she has troubles with being nervous and anxious. This problem evokes some others, like peeing inside (even in her or our bed), panic about her dog harness and panic when we move her into the car. On the other hand she loves to kill our chickens, because she seems to be an Epagneul Breton and those are bred for bird hunting. We deal with that as good as we can, but I would like to male the whole situation easier for her and also for us. Do you have any advice, what I could do? Problem is, I'm writing from denmark. So there's no way we could come to visit you. 😢 Thank you for your great work and the huge help you are, for so many of us!!! 🤗🌻
